Clare tumbled backwards, taken back by the lightning. She managed to swipe it away but not before it left a deep cut on her arm. "Augh!" Clare yelped. Flinging her arm like she was winding up for a pitch, and flung a large oak in Rouge's general direction. It fell short as she was distracted by the pain in her arm.

((I'm allliiiive. If anyone cared. Seriously. The area around my house got flooded out badly. My house and everything are fine, but I was out almost all day helping my Grandma and Grandpa get a new sub pump in sooo they didn't flood out. I need a shirt that says "I survived the Worst flooding in the Chicago land area in 30 years!" Anywho. Heres for the late responses.))
Rouge snapped back after feeling the kick of her own spell, and she glared at Clare. "... I wouldn't wake me up again if I'm asleep again, Ms. Impatient."

(That sucks man D: My basement got flooded, and we have to rip out walls and put in stuff. It's crazy around these parts.) Clare was not ready to back down. She stood higher, letting the bright stain spread slowly larger. "Don't think you're better than me." She hissed.

Roto walked over to Clare and pulled up her arm to examine. After he cleaned it with a strange solution, he wrapped it tightly and muttered some words. A thin veil of light appeared and glistened over the wrap. "There, the spell will stop any infection and help with pain." He smiled. "Be more careful next time."

Rouge glared at her, and hissed back. "Oh, I don't think it hon, I know it."
(The inner me is screaming that Roto is going to get hit in the crossfire. >.>)

(What does it say, my internetz is bein an unpleasant being. Your grandparents have it worse, I'm pretty sure.)
She pulled her staff out with one hand and a knife in the other, pushing Roto aside as soon as he finished the bandaging. She chuckled. "Look at you trying to be tough. It's cute!"

Roto rushed forwards to get between the two girls. "Please ladies, no fighting!" he stammered, sweat running down his features and a stupid grin fixed on his face.

((That sucks. Its just me telling I can't invite people at the moment, 'cause the thing is screwy... and some voting issues for the Guild Gimmick.))
Rouge chuckled. "Cute? Mhm. I'll show you cute."
She drew her sword again. She mumbled a few words under her breath, beginning to charge a spell.

For a second Clare could hear all thoughts, slowed down like in a suspension of time. She could hear the chant heat up in Rouge's mind, and Roto's panicked thoughts swirled together. He was right in the way of the spell. Her telekenisis was too powerful at this point to get him out of the way, she would shoot him to the moon. "Don't do it!" She tried to yell, but all that came out was a garbled squeak.

Heather stepped out of the way in case of a fight. She nocked a blunt arrow just on case she need to knock Roto out of the way. 'Gosh Roto, it's between them, get out of the way.' She thought.

Clare stood quietly while the air slowly froze around her. She stared down Rouge, trying to clear her mind of the dark numbness that seemed to take it over. With the little strength she had left she tried to lift her staff to slash the air, but it was to no avail.

Rouge concentrated hard, (remember its raining now, its the water) and the water turned to ice. The stalagmites began creeping inward at Clare.
(Ice is soo totally easier to break, hint hint.)
