Jasper stood after he thought he could handle Amanda's sent, it had been a while of doing absolutely nothing and his head was very cool. He opened the door to Alice’s room and walked out into the hall. Then he heard a crash. She jumped, and landed as light as a cat on the cream carpeting. She breathed out emptying his lungs, and made a mad dash for the down stairs. He jumped up and landed gently on the couch next to his brother. "Who's winning?" He asked and grinned. He looked a little pained but under control.

Edward stood up quickly, quick as in....vampire quicky and reached out to her, he didn't want to touch her because he was afraid that he didn't have a control over his strength. It pained him to not be able to touch her and his expression showed it.
"If you decide to leave Amanda....at least say goodbye to Esme and Carlisle....Jasper and Alice and Emmett too...." His eyes seemed to waver for a moment, as if he would shed tears but of course he wouldn't.

Amanda could see the pain...and it hurt her. Her eyes watered,but she looked down so he couldn't tell. "Edward...I'm sorry..I just don't want you to beat yourse;f up over me..." she whispered. She looked up slowley, a single tear sliding down her cheek. She took a slow shakey breath. "I'll see tmmorow..." please...do. She finished erecting herself and rubbed her cheek,trying to smile so he wouldn't blame himself for anything.
Emmett smirked "GATORS! WOOOT!!" he luaghed jokingly. He looked up at Jasper "Still working on it?"

Jasper nodded and sat very still. "He's screwing up." Jasper whispered and smirked dryly. "What's he trying to do?"" He looked at the stairs and tilted his head. Jasper wanted to help, but knew there was nothing he could do right away.

Edward smiled wider, it looked more like a strained smile than anything else though. There wasn't much he could manage now....she was going to leave....maybe she'd never come back. Would he be okay with that? Probably not, he'd probably move away....far, far away.
"I hope to see you tomorrow Amanda....but I make no promises. I might not be back tomorrow...." The last part he added beneath his breath so she couldn't hear him.
Edward gently reached for her and hugged her gently before he let her go after a moment and wiped the tear that had stained there.
"Don't cry, I wouldn't want it to mess up your beautiful face...."

SHe chuckled lightly for his benifit and leaned up and kissed his cheek softly. "Okay...." she sighed and walked to the door. She hated having to leave...but if it made him happy,she would do it. SHe walked out of the room and down the stairs tripping over her own feet a few times. "By everyone..I'm sorry about dinner" she knew they could hear her. SHe walked to the front door and opened it. She didn't want to leave...it was killing her but she had to di it.
He looked up from the game. He waved goodbye to Amanda and got up to go see Edward. "What happened?"he asked him

Personality: she loves to have fun but she also has a hard time getting over having her feelings hurt

Keda stumbled forward (or as much as a vampire could) into a small clearing, looking up she saw a large house, she sniffed the air cautiously "a live human among vampires?" she mussed to herself. she walked forward slowly and then went rigid, the human was coming out the door, the smell was almost unbearable, she felt herself cracking under the pressure she started to back away but it was to hard and before she could stop herself she had lunged towards the girl intent on killing her
Carslile sighed "that's too bad they'll be fine next time"
Esme looked at him and ran her hands though his hair "of course they will" she said softly

It happened all to fast for Amanda's human brain to take in. She couldn't even scream. The only thing she could say: "Edward!"

"oh dear whats happening out there?" Esme said floating gracefully towards the door
Carslile followed her, his hand on the small of her back and opened the door to see Amanda yelling 'Edward' and what looked like a newborn rushing at her, he let go of Esme and started froward

Amanda's yell snapped him out of his trance. He immediately flew down the stairs and appeared seemingly out of thin air beside Amanda.
"Don't worry about a thing...I'll take her." He growled, his voice full of the passion he felt towards her.
Edward bent down and took his usual battle stance, he was crouched down, ready to spring like a snake, when the vampire in the distance started to run at them....he pounced. It took about a second for him to close the distance between the two of them and his eyes turned from their liquid gold to a harsh obsidian black.
"Back off....slowly." Edward's teeth were barred and he was growling loud enough for everyone...well, the vampires to hear.

Keda skidded to a stop and growled more at herself then anyone, she sat down on the ground and pressed her hands on the sides of her head and said "I'm sorry I just...lost it....I haven't hurt a single human since I was turned into this monster a few days ago....I haven't allowed myself to drink any...any..blo...blood" she took a couple calming breaths and stood up
"I'm sorry for what I was about to do, but may I ask why you all are able to stand it?"
Carslile took a step forward till he was next to Edward and smiled softly at the girl
Esme stood next to Amanda

Edward stood up but didn't let his guard down for a moment. His whole body was rigid and tense, waiting for the moment the girl slipped up and then he would attack her, no questions asked.
"You're a newborn then? Well, it wouldn't be wise of you if you decided to hunt in these parts....we don't drink human blood." Edward added emphasis on the word 'human'.
"As for your second question....I can't stand it....I can but it takes practice....if you touch Amanda....just once, I'll kill you where you stand." He added, his voice still cold.

Keda let out a sob and sank to the ground at the sound or Edwards angry voice
"I'm sorry sir..I..I didn't mean...didn't want...to hurt her....I'm sorry"
taking another breath she composed herself once more
"no human blood.....does that mean...animal blood? can you teach me how to hunt them?" she asked clamping her right hand down on her burning neck

Edward's eyes widened when he saw how miserable she was. Instantly he felt like the biggest jerk in the world. He crouched down and placed a hand on her cheek.
"Forgive me...I am protective of Amanda so when you charged...I didn't have time to react. I am sorry for my reaction." He tried smiling at her happily though he still felt sorry that he was so rude towards her.
"Yes...we're a coven of our own and we feed on animal blood instead of human's. It's just a lot safer that way." Edward gently took her by the hand and helped her to her feet.
"I would be happy to teach you how to hunt....pardon my being rude once more, my name is Edward Cullen."
