Hiyoshi chuckled lightly to herself and shifted in the water, deciding it was just about time to get out of the hot water, lest she prune like a hag. You don't seem comfortable on this topic of conversation, she started, brushing her hair from her face as she looked to Ruo. Would you like to talk about something else?

"Oh, no, I'm fine," Ru said, shaking his head. "Doesn't matter to me. I don't talk often so I'm not much of a leader in conversations."

Hmn...I see. I hope you don't mind...Hiyoshi started as she pulled herself onto the rocks she rest apon, moving out of the water to sit mid-air beside the spring. Refreshing as this pool is, I don't like to prune. she giggled, waggling her fingers to the boy.

"Oh pruning is all sorts of not-fun." Ruo said. "I don't like too either, but it's either this, wander around somemore, or go home."
He lifted his hands out of the water, looking at his fingertips. "Like a giant pink raison." He wiggled his fingers slightly, then blinked, taking a closer look. He hadn't noticed before, but the color was somewhat off, which probably meant one, or more, of his sisters had painted them while he was asleep. He moved his hand slightly. Oh yes. There was glitter. He put his hands back into the water, feeling slightly embarassed.

Hiyoshi tilted her head to the boy, a mischivious grin on her lips. Something the matter? she asked, reminded that she'd added some scented bathsalts to where she sat in the spring, curious as to whether or not he'd noticed.

"My sisters...painted my nails..." he said, lifting up his hands, blushing a little more. "And I didn't notice until just now."

Ah, I see. Hiyoshi laughed lightly, gesturing to the boy to show her better. Do they usually pull such pranks? She asked, tilting her head to Ruo.

"Usually..." he blushed, holding his hands out a little more.
"Though, usually they choose something like pink. Or purple...or green. Something bright like that. I guess in comparrison, glitter like this isn't so bad."

Perhaps if you fail to react, they'll get bored with trying to do this and leave you alone? Hiyoshi suggested, basing her advice off her own children's actions. THough, It does look nice on you. she offered, smiling.

"My siblings do this because they're bored so...I don't know how well that'll work. I guess I'm just a pushover." He gave a tiny laugh, then blushed.
"And does it now?" He raised an eyebrow, and could't help but chuckle. "Thank you, I suppose."

Ah...Yes, I'm not sure that'd work well either. Hiyoshi laughed, nodding in responce to Ruo's question. I think it does. she offered, tilting her head to the boy. But I always have been one for the rebel sorts, who paint their nails and their eyes.

Ruo put his hands back into the water, closing his eyes, leaning his head back against the edge.
He chuckled. "Makeup is fun." He opened one eye, and pressed a finger to his lips. "But don't tell anyone. I can only image my family's reaction." He closed his eye, his hand returning to the water.
He let out a gentle breath, then tilted his head slightly, opening his eyes. "I have no idea why I just admitted that."

Hiyoshi laughed softly and shook her head, moving to slip back into the water now that she'd dried and her fingers had taken shape again. Fret not, Ruo, I won't tell a soul. She offered a wink to the boy and sunk into the water as she was before, relaxing against the rocks as though they were loungers and she was at the beach.

Feel free to bring all your secrets to me. Hiyoshi laughed lightly, shaking her head to herself. I've grown to keep secrets quite well. she nodded, brushing her hair from her face as it was a bit droopier than usual from the heat of the spring. If you'd like, I'd even be willing to share secrets with you. she purred, grinning to herself.
