Lin's eyes brightened at the thought of another person, more people to meet. She nodded though at the thought of brakfast, no point learning and meeting people on an empty stomach after all.

"Don't worry," she told him, "I'll eat first."

"Just make sure you don't run yourself to the ground as well," Donovan murmured.

Once breakfast was over, Celebor headed outside with Donovan to find Celeborn and set off on the hunt. He had a feeling that Lin was going to come out with them - though if what had happened to Adanedhel was any indication, it was probably best that she did, so that she wouldn't be outside by herself.

Elnara on the other hand, helped Haradhel to clean up the breakfast table, then gathered al of the rest of her children so that they could go and visit the valley.

"Lore, would you mind taking Kaito's hand?" she requested. "The last thing I need is him running away again ... and I know he's improved since Shiro joined us, but I don't want to take any chances."

Silvrendir of course was stuck like glue to Idhril's side, Storm and Starr seemed to be joined at the hip, Serenity stayed close to Skye, and Shiro and Ura were as inseparable as always.

Now that cleaning up after breakfast out of the way, Kara realized she had time to spare, but first seeing Donovan off. She left Miyu with Wish, promising to come back so they could also take a trip to the valley. Since, after all as it had been pointed out, it had been a long time.

Triton decided to seek out Daeron and see if he was free for the day, since he had no lessons to speak of anymore, and so was left to do as he wished for the most part.

Cindy on the other hand decided she would go to the valley as well, since she had to talk to Ulani. Besides, she hadn't seen them in a very, very long time, so it was only fair that she would visit.

Feng grinned wrapping one arm around Aliya's shoulders, "I think we'll be fine right here, besides we'll probably take a trip to help Lin while Donovan is gone as usual, but since it's the first full day here, she's probably off doing something. Like finding her favourite people or something like that."

Lore nodded at this as he made his way over to Kaito, "Don't worry, I understand," he smiled a bit, "After all, it would be best not to run into any trouble of that sort."

He chuckled at the thought as he looked down at Kaito smiling.

"How about it Kaito, like to hold my hand?"

Aliya grinned and put one arm around Feng's shoulders as well. "We'll be fine," she assured Amdir. "Go on. We'll see you back at lunch again."

Amdir smiled, then leaned over and kissed Aliya on the forehead. "Don't wear yourself out again like you did yesterday," he warned her. "We all prefer you awake and at least somewhat energetic."

Better than falling asleep at the dinner table again, at least.

"I know," Aliya murmured, rocking the infant gently in the crook of one arm. "I'll be good."

"Then I'll see all of you at lunch time," Amdir grinned, kissing Aliya on the forehead again. "Goodbye!" And he waved and left.




Celeborn was already leaving the stables, sitting at the front of the cart and leading two horses behind him.

"All set?" he called out, seeing Donovan and Celebor approaching him. He saw Lin as well, but he knew that she wouldn't be coming, so he said nothing of her.




Daeron meanwhile was just returning to the main area of the ranch from the archery range, and as he headed back to the house, bow over one shoulder, quiver on his back, he spotted Triton and grinned, picking up his pace a bit to catch up with him.

Lore chuckled seeing what Elnara was up to, not that he could blame her. There was always that worry that something might happen between here and there.

"I think..." he murmured looking around until he spotted them, "They're over there. Do you want me to take Skye's hand as well?"

Celebor chuckled at Lin. "I know," he grinned. "Just teasing."

He waved to Celeborn and moved to take the reins of one of the horses.


Elnara smiled at Lore gratefully. "If you don't mind," she agreed. "Skye's no trouble, though, so it shouldn't be too bad."

She looked where he was indicating. "Storm, Starr, come on, I want you to hold my hands as we're going there. It's not as safe as it was the last time we were here."

The twins headed over obediently, though Storm looked annoyed at the fact that he had to be led like a little kid.

Serenity ushered the rest of the children towards the group, smiling at Cindy as she passed her.

"Are you going to come with us as well?" she asked. "It's been a while for you, too, hasn't it?"
