Ayumi looked around. Not much was really happening around her. She stood upright and said,"Well, it looks like I'm not needed anymore. I'll be in my office." She dug her hands in her pockets and started walking towards her office.
She had finally gotten there after a few confabs with a few soliders who asked her why she those two kids go so easily. People from her department were quite suprised about this and the fact that this interrogation only took a few minutes. She opened the door to her office and at down at her desk and started reading a book she had in her desk drawer.
After a few minutes of reading, she glanced up at the clock. Maybe I should leave now. Sure, some people just might slack off while I'm gone but I can always yell at them tomorrow..or wait a minute. She suddenly remembered that girl she saw in the lobby. She closed up her book. I'll go look for Sciezka. She's bound to know about this girl. I noticed that other people might have recongnized her too so it just might be easy to find something on this kid. She stood up and left her office and started her quest to look for her.

Leiutenant Havoc Havoc brushed off Mustang's hand, and shook his head at Edward.
"No," he said, closing his eyes and lowering his head, "there's...nothing you can do. I have to be strong enough to get over this on my own."
He moved to stand, and Mustang scowled and took the younger man's arm to assist him. Havoc swatted at the brigadier general again His face formed more than the usual frown as he looked toward Riza and mouthed "Will you help me...please?!" and shrugged as she shook her head. Looking to Havoc and Ed, he then realized why Jean hadn't wanted help.
He wanted to look strong infront of Edward. Anyone could see that... why couldn't he? Was he really that blind when it came to the simplistic matters of every day life?
However, this situation was not simplistic. He could tell that Edward and Havoc had a mutual understanding that needed no words to be spoken. Sighing softly, he wished there was something he could do.
"Well... shall we continue?" He headed off toward the lobby

Light_Ashtoreth Ash sighed, "Sorry for the lack of light, the power went out. Don't worry too much about it, I can see where we're going. We're heading towards Mustang's office. If Ed isn't there... then this is going to become a search... and that's something I don't need" Her voice quieted slightly. Al marveled that the power could be out in such a place. He looked around, peeing into the darkness, trying to see some form of what was inside. Surely there had to be some form of backup generator for a military building, so why hasn't it kicked in yet?
If only I had managed to learn how to see energy forms around things more clearly. That was never something I spent much time thinking about before.Light_Ashtoreth She turned, "Winry, Al, do you mind stopping for a moment?" When the duo didn't hit her, she smiled slightly before refocusing, "Hello? Who ever's out there, I would feel a bit better if you weren't hiding in the shadows, and if you decide not to, I will not be responsible for what happens." She gently coaxed out the power she had trasmuted from her first encounter with Al. The orb let out a dim light, but pulsed with power. Alphonse stopped, waiting for the sound of footfalls to grow slightly distant. He began to make out the walls of the room, and had some idea of where he was in relationship to them. Hagane no Winry She glanced around, and passed a confused glance over her shoulder to Al, mouthing "What is she doing?" to her childhood friend. This Ashtoreth girl just got stranger and stranger ... had she been like this when the boys knew her all those years ago? He shrugged in response to the barely made out question, not entirely sure of what she asked, but it seemed the best answer. Alphonse scanned the room after the orb had formed near Ashtoreth, still unsure of who was in here with him. He spotted a women sitting on a bench near one of the walls. There was also a desk with a guard positioned at it and two older girls speaking to him. He did not want to disturb the conversation going on at the desk, so he wandered over to where the bench was to have a seat and wait. "Winry, why don't we wait over here? I am sure it will be a little while before things are sorted out and they tell Ed we are here." I know its not right to disturb him where he might be working, but I have to know if it's really him. Perhaps we can catch up on a few things while we wait.

Envy-san Envy ignored the part about his 'speed', his mind immediatly went to the quetion about his past.
One eye opened and stared at her. It had changed back into its normal form, catlike and a violent shade of purple. It filled with rage as he spat out words that could do more damage than poison itself. "I owe you nothing!" He said forcefully. "For your life, you paid your story, and I do not owe you anything!" Envy's hand, which was on his knee, grasped it tightly as his voice filled with pure hatrid.
There was a pause and Envy closed his eye. The last thing he wanted to talk about was HIS past. Anything but that. Its not like he had much of a past to begin with. I want to forget....
Jayden's eyes widened with his outburst, she hadn't meant to anger him... she was just curious... "I never said you owed anything." She began, a novice at the art of comfort. "I merely said I was curious." Her two toned eyes scanned him calmly.

Kat turned to Riku. "So.... should we just.... leave then?" As she said it, she realized she didn't want to. The close call with the officers here had gotten her on a high. The mystery going on in the building was exciting her.
"What should we do?" she asked.

A young shrill voice echoed after the sound of lots and lots of heavy things thunking to the ground. It was coming from a few feet ahead of Al, Ash, and Winry. Sheska, the book worm of HQ, a 22 year old woman with large square glasses and short brown hair, could remember the contents of any book she had read and would write it out for you from pure memory... But for some reason she couldn't remember the fact that aliens don't exist. When Ash ignited her orb of light, of course she had assumed the worst. "PLEASE DON'T EAT MY BRAINS MR. ALIEN! OR... MRS? MISS? JUST DON'T HURT ME! I DON'T TASTE GOOD I SWEAR!" The girl was flailing on the ground, like a turtle stuck on its back. Books strewn all around on the floor.

Shifting her toolbag on her shoulder for the millionth time that day, she shot a look toward Ashtoreth before responding.
"...Sure."
She walked over to the bench, and paused again. Something wierd was going on... She squinted. Looking up, her eyes were caught by the red hair of a girl sitting at the end of the bench. Her eyebrows knit together in confusion.
HQ is just a bin full 'o loonies, today...
She spun on her heel and sat down beside Al, propping her toolbox against the bench. She gnawed on the inside of her cheek a moment before turning to him.
"Nee, Al. What do you think? I mean..." her eyes dropped to his shoes, and she bit her lip. This probably wasn't the best time to be asking... "...do you really think that Ed's here?" She lifted her coppenhagen gaze to his grey one, eyes full of disbelieving inquiry.

Envy watched as some of the ominous clouds above parted, only to reveal a dark sky. It has gotten late.... what is Adine doing in there? We cant stay here all night. Envy stood up, still staring at the parting in the clouds. Adine must be busy. Her work is lacking. He laughed out loud and shook his head.
Envy took a deep sigh and put his hand on his hip. "Hey.... I think I will go. I am finding no use sitting around, and I think Adine has everything in there under control. so, whadya say? Any protests?"

He asked slyly. "Highly unlikely." Jayde says, shruging with no appearance of fear or worry. "I suppose we could go... hmm..." Her body straitens. "Yes... that would be fine... The cellar of my old 'home' is still in tact. No one goes near the place. Where were you supposed to wait for Adine? I'll leave her a message..." She pulls out of her pocket a small card, on it is imprinted a symbol resembling a raven in blood red.
