Neptune Bride As soon as the GaeKeeper was over the edge of the bridge, Saraphina let the rocks down carefully out of their way. Smiling with satisfaction, she brushed her hands off and turned inward. "Alright, dear. You can come back out now. Or would you prefer I stay in control untill we get through this?"Aneisa considered the offer for a moment before replying. "If it's all the same to you, I'll take over for now. But just be ready to step up again in a hurry if needed, ok?" "Of course. I'll be on guard. Just let me know when you want me."With that, the two switched back. Aneisa went back to retrieve her cloak. "Ok, Alex, correct me if I'm wrong, but did you say about moving on? If so, lead on McDuff" Then she looked over at Baylor. "Hey, Bud. You alright? You're looking a little rough."

Taking a sniff of the air, Alex shook his head. "No......this isn't poison of any type." He said as he moved his hand through it. "If anything, it's liquid magic..."He said to them.

((I'm still around. If the others are like me, they're just not entirely sure how to go on. I mean, you're kinda the leader, Durban, so...))
Aneisa nodded at Baylor. "That's good. Glad nothing serious has happened. Being out in the middle of the desert in a third world country....." She trailed off as she finally got a look at the tomb. "Ummm.... wow! This place is just huge all around, isn't it? Who were they trying to impress? I mean, obviously, the idea was not to let people in...." She shrugged her shoulders. "
Once it had been determined that the miasma wasn't dangerous, she glanced at Alex. "All right, Chief. Where's the skull?"
((BTW, Anyone else think it's a little odd that Demona and Goliath haven't recognized each other after all these nights? I mean, I know that we don't look like our gargoyle counterparts, and Goliath hardly ever surfaces, but surely Goliath would have recognized Demona's personality by now? Just my stray thought *shrug*))

((If golith eveer surfaced I'd make demona recognise him-but he shouldn't recognize the new personality scince he was frozen for the whole Macbeth incednt-though you'd think he'd come to be with his 'angel of the night' scince she keeps on talking about how to find him))

((Yeah, it's true, she did get a bit more hot-headed after the whole Hunter/Macbeth deal. Not that she was a saint before hand. But her name has been said several times, and hasn't she mentioned his name at least once? May be wrong with that last half, but I'm pretty sure the first half is true. I dunno, what ever. I guess it doesn't really matter. Just an observation.))
Aneisa gave a sarcastic smile. "Pfff. Yeah. And some people seem to think that the ancients were so intelligent," she snorted. "Alright, then. If I was an ancient king with a crystal skull, that'd probably be my prized possession. So, I'd want it put in a place of prominence, right? ....." She started looking around to get an idea.

"Mabye he would put it at the center of attention so that everyone would see it?" Baylor commented. "And surround it with traps like mummy guardians and those giant statues we saw earlier?" He said, waving his hand through the miasma swiftly to blow it away from the floor.

((I'm making Goliath's personality a little more inward at the moment. And yeah, I should let someone in on the story so it's easier for people to carry on the RP sweatdrop . I'm trying to sway away from the old TV show. I only used Goliath cause my originality was running out.))
"My guess is that it's at the bottom. The stairs lead there anyway. Might as well follow them." He told the group. As he made his way, they got to a large stone door. "Judging by the bilateral architecture, what we find in here will be the same at the other side of the tomb." He told them as he opened one door.

((who's this 'goliath' person you guys keep talking about? I'm confuzled)) Baylor stopped at the door the group was now at. "Wait, you said everything was going to be the same as the rest of temple because of its bilateral sructure. Doesn't that mean we'll just tun into every single trap we came to as we came in? Won't the rooms we go in be the same as the others we just came out of?" Baylor hypothesised. He then thought for a while after his long comment. "Or am I misunderstanding it?" He added.

((If you haven't seen the original Gargoyles cartoon, you probably wouldn't get it. Basically, it's the spirit of the gargoyle who's using my body as a vessel.))
Alex jsut looked to the boy and grinned. "You lack the feeling of an adventurer. A real adventurer WANTS to explore every inch of a newly discovered ruin. Even if every room's the same, he does it just to find out new things." He told him.
As he finally opened the door, it revealed a corridor which lead to a giant statue with a gem in it's navel. "Well, what's say we take a look, eh?" He asked.
