"I'm up here guarding you. Sure, I unleashed the kinds of mythical forest creatures that Earth was used to in order to protect this forest, but there are enemies beyond their comprehension. I told you I'd never let harm come to you...I'm simply keeping true to me word!" He'd look to her with a grin and rub her head, then look up to the stars. "Y'know, on Earth, I never did see the stars. My life never called for such luxury...in all honesty, I'm glad it's gone. That planet was disgusting...the stars were only seen in children's dreams and philosopher's telescopes. And my life was just...it doesn't matter. I'm just happy to be here...right here." He'd look to her with another grin, then look back to the stars. "And don't thank me. You deserve more, but for the time being, that's all I can do for you. Once I have my staff, though, I can make you a cave of true beauty!" Once more he'd look to her. "Sound like a plan, Little Lady?"

"Y'know, I dun think yer comprehendin' the situation yer in...twas no xouncil what dune sealed me her ta rot, twas a mage! A mage a' power like noon oother mage! Sent me through time n; ta this world! Dun even know where I am, but dun care neither. Jus know I can breathe, n' that be all tha matters!" Having compresed enough momentum in his muscles, he'd slowly stand, and at this point, a shadow would cover his form, though his piercing emerald eyes would cut through the dark like the sharpest of swords. It was obvious he wore clothing that could sway the wind, and tattered as well. Finally, one could easily notice his hair, large, long and spiked. Once they drew near the light, one could see his handsome middle-age face and red hair like fire erupting from him.

"Holy Hell n' blessed be me by tha Lord, it be LIGHT!" He'd grin and seem to simply disappear and reappear at the entrance to the cave, revealing his tattered cloak that looked like some sort of clan or guild's uniform. In the end, the build up of energy and momentum in his muscle allowed him to break the boundaries of speed and put the laws of science to shame.

"Well lass, I do thank ya fur lettin' me oot, but I ain't lettin' ya leave. Nothin' personal, but I dun need no one tellin' no one else 'bout me!" He'd look up to the cave's roof, and with an uppercut send boulders falling down to bloc the entrance. Once they were in place he'd simply snicker and begin to levitate away, then look about the area. "Dun look na diff'rent. Still, I'm too rusty after confinement...need ta keep me a low profile...hard to do 'nymore." He'd press his gloved hands to the rocks blocking the entrance, then try to shout loud enough for his voice to travel between the rocks. "Woman, where the hell be the nearest tailor n' tavern?"

Nimm listened until he had finished talking. Once done she follow his gaze to look up at the stars as well. She was silent for a moment, tracing the outline of the few constellations she knew with her eyes. "Singe, why is it you vowed to protect me?" she asked, still looking up. She regretted admitting to herself that it wasn't often enough that she admired the stars. Looking back down though she waited for Singes response. "It's not that I'm not grateful or anything, because really I am, more so then I could tell you, but I can't think of anything I've done to deserve everything you've done." she really was puzzled by this, and had meant to ask a few times before, now just seemed like a better time.

Upon seeing him she'd smile he was rather nice lookin' then backed away from the tumbling rocks, hearing him say he meant nothing personal she rolled her eyes and palced a hand on her hip shaking her head she would simply place her hand against the boulder it would crumble away as she stepped out of the cave.

"I wont say anything but you need to learn something, this is MY cave you can't simply trapped me in it, as for the nearest tavern you will find one in town"

With that she would turn around and start to heave the massive tree back towards NImm's home where she would evidentially would find Singe, looking back at the guy she helped she shook her head again and would release the ponytail letting that long crimson and blonde hair drape down her back.

Alright, so hauling this beast of a tree would be easier if Singe would come and create his damn staff already, but seeing as he was protecting Nimm she was stuck dragging the tree through the forest.

"Dunno really. After I...well, when I first showed up n' I was rather starved, you were the first thing I saw. You were quite beautiful, at least to me, and I considered draining you n' even siring you...but when I saw that cop, I decided I'd rather make sure nothing ever harmed the first beautiful thing I've seen in..." He'd fall in to a trance for a moment, losing touch with reality as he thought for a moment. He'd then look to her with a smile, though it was weak. "The first beautiful thing I've ever actually seen aside from flowers. And, in all honesty, I don't want that beauty to ever fade away...I think it might actually hurt me, on the inside...if you were to fade away." His smile would form in to a true grin before he'd look back up to the stars. "So there ya go, that's why I'm protecting you."

He'd hop back on to the tree and arch a brow at the woman, not quite sure if she was just stupid or if there was something else to it all. He'd then look down to the tree and poke it a couple of times before laying back on it. "Yer not quite bright, are ya? Nah, I think yer kinda like the village idiot er' somethin'. Dunno, in a town full'a retards, you'd be Mayor. Or has yer brain not plummeted enough yet? 'Cause I'll testify to ya idiocy if it'll help." He'd snicker to himself, then begin to kick off pieces of the tree. "Hell ya doin' hulkin' this beast 'round anywho? Ain't good fer nothin' but keepin' demons at bay, believe you me! Best if ya just burn the damned thing, yep! Here, I'll start us up!" He'd sit up and grin, and by rubbing his hands together, and unnecessary procedure, he'd warm up his hands and press his palms to the wood, slowly causing a bit of a flame to appear. "Ya gotta start it slow n' let the damned thing really feel the burn er' yu'll never get no revenge, ya just be burnin' another tree. Make it feel the pain, just like it makes us feel!" He'd then fold his arms and nod, his wild hair flying all over the place even with the action of a simply nod.

Nimm was sort of taken aback by what he had said, at a loss for words really. A simple thank you didn't feel like it would be enough this time. Her mind filled up with stupid questions however, like 'What does siring mean?' or 'was it really that long ago?', both questions she didn't really want to ask at the moment. She gently shook her head to clear the thoughts. Leaning forward, she acted on impulse, and hugged him. "Thank you..." she didn't care if he didn't want her to, she was going to thank him. She let go then, realizing that he may not of wanted to be hugged.

Kontengai looked around [[note that he's far away from any of you]] with that sad look upon his face. "I must find my home...Home...Home? Where's my home...? Do I have a home?" He sighed. "Must be...in that direction...there's some homes...Someone might tell me what's going on...might tell me who I am." He headed in the direction of a grouping of houses.

Ravyn' did not want to deal with him, ears pinned back she knew she couldn't pull something afraid of what would he would do if he was anything like Singe... She stayed silent and continued to haul that massive tree arund, eyes would gro wide as the smell of smoke would reach her nose turning around she set the tree down and waved her hand over the small flame it would dissapear into her hand she looked to him with those violet hues and spoke softly.

"It's for a friend....now please if your going to stick around, don't set things on fire I made a promise to cook you something I plan to keep it"

Turning around once more she would wrap her small hands around the roots and would continue to haul the tree down the hill where she spotted NImm's place, those eyes of hers would watch Singe and Nimm and sighed deeply putting down the tree she looked to the man and then to Nimm's home sighing once more

He'd stare at her for a moment as she hugged him, then watch as she quickly retracted. He'd just keep starring, then smile and scoot closer to her, wrapping his arm around her. Closer he was, safer he was.

"No need to thank me. Your company n' beauty's thanks enough. So just kick back, relax, n' most importantly: Never be afraid. So long as I live...which might be for quite some time...you'll never be harmed." Again he'd nod in both pride and conformation to himself, then look back to the stars.

He'd watch as she scurried to put out the flame, then snicker as he stood up and rode the tree like a surfboard. Though, once they came in view of the other two, his emerald eyes would grow wide. As she'd set the tree down, he'd pick it up with a single hand and slam it down in front of them, creating a bit of a barricade. He'd immediately kneel down behind the log as his breathing would increase and pull the girl down next to him to make sure she couldn't be seen. He'd then pull her right to him, face to face and whisper harshly to the girl. "Thy be in league with he of God's false name!? What, pray tell, do ya think ya be doin' with this tree?" His eyes were glowing, and it was obvious he'd become completely hostile.

Nimm stared back at him for a moment as he stared at her. 'Maybe that wasn't a good idea?' she thought, and was promptly corrected as he returned the gesture. She nodded in response to what he said, and oddly enough found herself more relaxed. A loud noise however, like something heavy being dropped, had her looking for the source curiously.

Letting out a small noise she found herself face to face with him, ears pinned back as her glowing hues would almost match his own.

"his name is Singe, and well he's a friend of mine he is using my tree to make a staff for himself do you know him?"

SHe would stare and then smile hands on the ground she gripped the earth and would sigh deeply Singe and Nimm looked to be having their own fun, perhaps she could back later?

He'd smile to himself as she seemed to get comfortable...though there was a feeling in the bottom of his gut he couldn't quite shake. He felt several things, the first being the presence of something with a spectacular aura and possible magical properties. The second was the aura of the damned elf, but the third nearly made him throw up. He knew this aura...one of fire, love, and malice. He couldn't place it, but deep down he knew this wasn't the place for Nimm...at the same time, without knowing who it was, he couldn't take any action without possible consequences. "Ravyn...who's there with you, behind my tree?"

"Tis not this 'Blood' you speak! Tis the God of Corruption and the Master of Manipulation and Deception! Tis my brother, Kain! How did he get here; why is it ya seem to be chummy with em'!?"

He'd hear as Singe called out, believing him to be Kain. His emerald eyes would let off a sign of shock before he'd snap them shut and slink down in to the soil, trying to hide himself as best his could behind the trunk. "I'm na here! Tell em' he's crazy damn it!"
PostPosted: Thu Jul 03, 2008 9:36 pm

Nimm looked up, she could make out the tree, though it was encased in Ice so looked rather different. She didn't see or hear Rayvn though. "Why'd she drop the tree there?" she asked quietly, not really meaning to say it out loud. Hearing Singe mention someone else, Nimm raised a brow. "Thats not right, Rayvn doesn't know anyone inside the woods other then you and me, those she did were back at the council."

Ravyn's ears would twitch upon hearing Singe call out her name she would wave her hand as she did the man would seemed to have dissapear in all actuality he was just hidden nothing more nothing less.

"Aye, it's me Singe and what are you talking about? No one is with me I have brought you the tree the damn thing was pretty heavy.."

She'd rub her shoulders and waved to Nimm walking away from the tree and to Singe and Nimm, she'd also rub the back of her neck as she pulled out of her chest the Moon Eye in all of it's golden glory.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 03, 2008 10:20 pm

He'd growl and slowly stand, making sure Nimm was all right on the roof before doing so. He'd leap on to the tree and immediately turn to Ravyn. "So you'd lie to your own friend? I knew you couldn't be trusted..." He'd growl and hop from the tree and push it away, watching Ishado roll out from his hidden position. He'd finally catch on to who this man was and arch a brow. "And what the hell are you doing here?"

He'd roll out from his hidden rut and jump to his feet, face to face with the man he thought to be his brother. "Ya ought'a know! Ya was present when tha dmaned mage sent me here! Didn't do a damned think to stop it, either! Nah, and na I see ya here with two lasses, in the middle of MY territory! Hell's wrong with you, Ka--"

Singe would simply growl, and before he could finish that name he'd send a powered right hook across the jaw of Ishado, sending him through a few trees and knocking him out. Thanks God he'd been weakened after his confinement. He'd then turn to Ravyn with a look of absolute hate. "Why the HELL did you hide that beast from us!?"

Nimm waved back to Rayvn as she came walking up, though she didn't smile. Needless to say tension was in the air and she was a little lost as to why. She looked up as Singe stood up, and watch him jump toward the tree. She moved, climbing off the rocks and going over to Rayvn, disregarding the fact that Singe had called her un trustworthy. "Whats going on?" she asked, turning to look up at the new person. "Where's he come from, I've never seen him in these woods before?" she asked Rayvn. The sound of the punch, turned her attention back to the two on the hill.
