And ok, I'll start off. XD However, I'll do so in a way that we can continue immediately after or skip a week or so before continuing))
Yuugi didn't know how long he had stood there. For Atemu, he forced himself to be strong, fighting his tears and looking towards the future, just as the pharaoh himself had.
This was how it had to be.... for Atemu, to achieve peace, to have a future and not be forever chained as a spirit, and for Yuugi too, to be his own being.
Yuugi knew this.
Yet still, he felt something inside him trembling in pain and loss. His lungs seemed to be quivering, and his heart was clenched with the emotions he struggled to come to terms with.
Because a part of him didn't want the future, not if it meant that Atemu would be lost to him forever. He felt hollow, as if he had just lost a necassary part of his own being, and would never be whole again.
He had felt the pain before, in the Memory World, but it had only been brief.
Now he had to come to terms with the fact that he would be like this, living with that void, for the rest of his life. Part of him wanted to collapse again, to wallow in his own grief.
But he couldn't do that, he couldn't let Atemu down.
After all they had been through, all he had learned.... Yuugi would take the lessons and the gifts and strength his other half had given him with pride.
And despite his pain, despite that hollow spot in himself, he would find happiness and move on to the future, just as Atemu had done. 'And someday, in some lifetime... I will see him again. I have to.'
Yuugi closed his eyes, hand instinctually reaching for the pendant and feeling a pain of shock when it wasn't there, when Atemu wasn't there.
This.... this was going to take a while to get used to...

((Ah, I see. Okay then, I guess I'll post as Jounouchi and Anzu for now...))
Jounouchi glanced at Yuugi sadly, just catching his failed attempt to touch the Sennen Puzzle. He frowned to himself, not liking to see his friend this way. Sure it was hard that the Other Yuugi was gone, but it was also hard to see friends sad. Jounouchi had forced himself to get over it for them. He had to comfort Yuugi; he had practically lost a part of himself. And Anzu. She was taking it hard too. Speaking of the girl, she was sitting on a planter looking down at the ground in a daze. She had been much more quiet than usual ever since Atem left. Jounouchi was worried about both of them. He made an attempt to lighten the mood, "Hey guys, it's getting about lunch time." he said stretching, "Want to go to Burger World? Not like Anzu's working there anymore anyway." he said with a wink.

((I'm gonna wait for the others... but where do you intend this to be taking place? I was thinking directly after, but obviously that's not the case. Not that there's a problem with that, mind you. ;P I just wanna get an idea of where you are, or your idea of where you are, to figure out how I will continue. ^_^))

((Well that leaves just Yuugi and Seto who have players to post a reply.... I'm not sure Seto's even there, so I guess I should reply after all. ^.^;; ))
Yuugi started a bit at Jounouchi's voice, turning to him in surprise. 'I was doing it again,' Yuugi noted, berating himself inwardly even as he smiled at his friend. "I'd like that," he said softly. And most definitely appreciated the gesture. 'I have no reason to be sad,' he berated himself. 'Not with friends like mine...' "Thank you, Jounouchi..."
He glanced to Anzu, biting his lip, and tentatively approaching. "Ne, Anzu? Are you alright?"
It was strange to him... everything seemed deathly silent now, without that other voice making his comments....

((Oh, well I was thinking maybe just a few days after they got home or so... ^^;; If you want it to be right after the collapse of the tomb though, I'm fine with changing it. Sorry about that. sweatdrop Guess I'll keep going though since you are... and Cloth Roses, is Bakura with them right now? I'd assume so but I just wanted to make sure. ^^;; ))
Anzu glanced up at Yuugi in surprise, "Oh, yes I'm fine." she assured, mentally slapping herself for getting in a daze again. She kept telling herself that this was the hardest for Yuugi and that she should stop being so depressed... but that was easier said than done, "So we're going to Burger World right?"
((Oh, and reaver ninja, Yuugi's already taken.))

(Uh-huh, I'm just going to say he is, would make sense in a way...)
Ryou smiled weakly at the situation, staying quiet in his spot. He didn't speak a lot these days, but he knew he'd probably go with them, even if he didn't actually want to. Anything to stay away from the house.
Way too many memories of his Yami there, he didn't even know what to do with his room. Yes, Yami Bakura had had a room. When he would take over, he'd taken the guest room and made it proper for someone like him. The room had given Ryou nightmares after the first time waking up in it, but now he couldn't imagine changing it in the least.

Ryou nodded softly, he didn't even get to have his first name anymore, nobody called him Ryou. He stood, grabbing his bag from the floor.

Fixed up the front a bit. I'm not going to add the recent posts and stuff until there's more pages though. razz
And... yeah. Both Yuugi and Yami/Atemu are taken. O.o;; It says that pretty clearly....
Anyway! Post. :3
But first- where are we going with this? Even if Atemu's not coming in for a while, I wanna make it as interesting as possible... x3 (Specially if I do end up turning into a fanfic, which, btw, if that happens, you all will be credited and are welcome to contribute. But that's not for a while.))
Yuugi glanced at Ryou. The platinum haired youth was being exceptionally quiet, even for him, and it didn't surprise Yuugi at all. Quite the reverse, he felt that Ryou was probably the one person that would understand, and visa versa.
Both had lost a part of themselves.
Even if Ryou's other half had tried to kill and drive away all of his hosts friends, stabbed himself (and thus Ryou) and used him as a tool to get close to Yuugi's other half, he had still shared one mind with him, as Yuugi had.
And without the puzzle, it was no surprise to Yuugi why Ryou kept returning for the ring, even after all its spirit had put them through.
He smiled, hoping it wasn't as wistful and empty as he felt. "Let's go then."

Ryou caught the glance, before looking back down. At least he had someone who could understand what he was going through.
Now, about all the events involving him and the Ring, most people would think he was a bit touched in the head for going back to it. But they couldn't understand. Despite all his Yami had done, including get themselves sent to the Shadow Realm, Ryou had relied on him a great deal as he was often alone at his home. Yami no Bakura wasn't ever nice, but at least it broke up the silence.

(Wait, just to clarify everything: Yuugi, Jou, Anzu and Ryou are all bacl in Domino now, right? I'm just checking so I can figure out a way to get Seto in. sweatdrop )

(That's alright. It's an rp, it'll happen.)
At KaibaCorp, everything seemed to be in order. No major screw ups had occured, the developments were coming along smoothly, and for once there were no sinister plots for domination over the company. Things were going very well. Except for one stressed CEO.
'This is ridiculous. I can't get to work,' he thought, massaging his temples. Seto had no idea of what could possibly be interfering, especially after every little distraction was gone. Even the friendship squad.
'It's just work. All I need is a break.' With that thought, he alerted to his secertary that he would be going out for lunch and would return a little later than usual.
