Mar grinned. "Of course not," she determinedly said. She wrapped her willowy arms around Sirius's neck and rested her head on top of his, planting a quick kiss on top of his head.
Remus turned bright red. He had just met this girl, he was hardly willing to put his arms around her, let alone kiss her! "Dammit, you win!" he scowled.

Sirius glowed, pretending it was because of the victory and not because of the kiss... but it was about the kiss, even if he wasn't about to let anyone know it. "That's my girl!" he said, laughing and giving her a quick hug.

Wendy laughed, a little relieved. She didn't know if she was ready to take the game quite that far. Not that she didn't like Remus - indeed, she was beginning to think she liked him a bit too much - but amidst all the things that Wendy Rivers was, the thing she was most of all was shy.

"Did any friends or family come over?" Lily slightly wondered if it was something she did to make him seem this nervous, or if it was just natural. She hadn't really paid attention before. She desided that since she was in a conversation, she wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon, so she might as well sit down... "Do you mind if I take a seat? My legs are getting somewhat tired."

Lily took the seat Peter offered her, it was nice to sit down and relax. "What kind of parties were they? Being both my parents are muggles, the only parties they really have is for holidays, Rubbermaid, and other material things."

Lily felt her face get hot. She didn't realize that they wouldn't know what a 'Rubbermaid' was. Of course they wouldn't know! It's a muggle thing. She thought of how to explain what a Rubbermaid party was. "A Rubbermaid is a type of brand of containers muggles use to put leftover food in. They sometimes have parties to help sell them." Lily hoped that explanation helped.

"Well, muggles can't just make our food go away by magic. We either have to throw it out, which we don't like to do because we have to prepare our food, and throwing it out would be a waste of time and energy, or we have to put it in the 'frige for leftovers for another night. So at the parties, they can buy more containers to put their food in, wether the containers are larger, smaller, or have lids that can fit to a variety of other different sized containers." Lily felt slightly exasperated, because she was trying so hard to explain something Wendy probably wouldn't fully understand, being she was a pureblood and didn't have to worry about it. She looked at Peter for a little help.

Remus blinked once, twice, three full times before he raised his hand. "Um...what's a fridge? Is it like an icebox or something?" he asked with a blush creeping across his face. It was embarrassing; usually he knew everything but now he was utterly lost.

Lily knew that many things Muggles used were not common knowledge, but not knowing what a refrigerater was? That struck her as odd."A 'frige, short for refrigerator, isn't as cold as an 'icebox', which we call a 'freezer', but is cold enough to make food last longer without spoiling. Do you have anything to add, Peter? Lily liked talking, just talking about stuff that was what she thought was common knowledge, was hard to explain.
