Lizz ran upstairs to fly into her uniform. A skin tight leather looking outfit in a neutral color...almost blue. The material was made of a special fibre that when her own skin shifted and changed pigmentation to match it's surroundings the outfit itself changed color exactly match her skin color. "Yea...." She said falling into place besides her friend making a few adjustments to the snug outfit. "A man made this...had to be..." She said frowning at it. She adjusted the belt, which was made of the same material so it changed as well. "Skin tight...please...you couldn't give me a little more room to breath could they?" She said.

After almost forty-five minutes to an hour of baking and cooking the food was all ready.

Shandra smiled to Blade, who she saw had a little flour mess on her cheek. She laughed and motioned with her own thumb the cheek it was on. But despite that small little thing they had done alright, and the dinner smelt absolutely wonderful. It filled the entire room and she wouldn't be surprised if the smell had drifted through the mansion.

She grabbed a few plates and walked to the dinning room before setting them down. They all had their own coverings, or at least most of them did, so they would stay warmer for longer. She went back into the kitchen to grab for a few more before taking them to the dinning room too. When all the dishes were served she brought out a stack of plates and put them around the table along with a knife and a fork for every one. She knew there could have been more utensils out but she just really didn't feel like serving people that much. Besides it wasn't like it was a big fancy dinner party either.

When she walked back to the kitchen she leaned in the doorway. "So, you going to eat or stand there?"

Arching her eyebrow in Morgans direction she saw his face. "Y'know if I had the power to I'd make you a female for a day and would make you wear something like mine the whole day then you'd think twice about wanting to laugh. " She said while waggined her index finger at him, her tone was a joking one. "As for the jacket I'll be fine. I have a bra type thing on so if my outfit does slip I won't be giving a free peep show."

She looked down at herself then at Lizz and unlike Morgan she did burst out laughing. "He's right. It kinda does look like we're wearing something out of an early 90's comic book."

Lizz grunted at the offer. "Naw...the jacket would make me feel silly instead of just embarrised." She said watching Morgan's lips twitch. "Go ahead and laugh it up...we all know you want to." She said with a slight glare. She snorted though at the comic book reference. "Can't be from a comic....my chest isn't big enough for that...every super heroine I've seen had...Aaaannnnyyyywwwaaayyyssss. Yea...we look like a pair of comic book rejects..." She cleared her throat breaking that comment off and changing it to something slightly cleaner as the door slammed shut announcing the arrival of their boss Mystique...queen of all she surveyed.

Shandra smiled and blushed a little in embarrasement. She hadn't thought she was a good cook, she could only do the basics. After all she couldn't use anything that was processed like the standard milk, cheeses, butter and other things like that.

"Well the dig in."

"Professor," Shandra thought in a very clear, coherent way as she attempted to reach out towards anyone who had mental powers. "Dinner is ready."

Of course with those kind of things it was always a shot in the dark. But she supposed that if some of them could hear her thoughts when they weren't trying and neither was she than some effort on her part could be overheard. After all that was a thought she didn't mind sharing so it didn't bother her if she "thought" it loudly.

((ok since this hasn't gone anywhere in a while I'm starting fresh..hopefully others follow O.o;;; ))

The alarm blared, startling Kara awake and with a heavy thud right onto the floor. She knew she had set the alarm to the lowest volume but apparently that didn't help much with her heightened hearing abilities. Groaning she reached up onto the nightstand, grabbed the clock and ripped it from the socket then heaved it against the wall as hard as she could, the poor clock shattered.

For about ten minutes the cat-girl lay on the floor with her covers akwardly wrapped around her as she stared up at the ceiling. "It's to early to be up...why the hell am I up this early?" Kara asked herself aloud as she slowly sat up then using the bed she pulled herself into a standing position. The covers slipped off of her in the process revealing her bed clothing, a black tank top and a pair of black boxers. Lazily she stretched her arms about her head while making an odd little mrrping sound then headed out of her room, not caring that she was still not dressed properly to walk around the house. First stop, the bathroom.

When Kara was done in the bathroom she made a beeline down to the kitchen where she started a pot of coffee and went searching in the fridge for anything breakfasty.

Ears laid back and tail twitching in annoyance she closed the fridge door none to lightly and grumbled. All she had been able to find was expired eggs and moldy bread. Does no one freaking go grocery shopping in this dump? She thought bitterly and had to settle for drinking her cup of coffee black since the milk too was expired and there seemed to be no sugar. Kara made a face as she quickly gulped down the coffee then washed out the empty cup and put it in the dish drainer. Her stomach growled loudly at her.

Looking up at the clock above the sink she saw it was only 9:30 in the morning. "Oh! McDonald's still has breakfast going!" She ran back up to her room where after making a huge mess of her drawers and closet she found a pair of black and teal Tripp pants, a black Nirvana t-shirt and a pair of plain black converse hightops. She dressed and grabbed her trench coat and beanie. Kara pulled the beanie over her ears as she ran down the stairs and quickly put on the coat before she was out the door and headed towards the garage. The car she had gotten just a couple weeks before sat in the garage, still shiney from the car wash she had brought it to the day before. She got in and started the yellow camero's engine and backed out of the garage and driveway where she quickly put the car in drive and turned towards the direction of the nearest McDonalds.

Twenty minutes later she was sitting in the dinning area of McDonalds with two tray's full of food. She happily munched on her many breakfast's.
