Sirica
Sirica tipped her head the other way. "A sequence of photographs projected onto a screen with sufficient rapidity as to create the illusion of motion and continuity." She repeated, the definition stored away in the young demons peculiar mind. They began to near the house now, and Sirica exclaimed, "We will see 'whatever is playing'! Then dashed inside, up to her room, and laid out the new shirts. She then preceded to run back down to the others with a stricken look on her face. "Where are scissors?" She had no idea and needed them for the wing slits.

Mordred couldn't help but laugh as she ran back down with that look on her face. Mordred put his hand out and formed a pair of scissors.
"I don't know where my real ones are but theses should work for now. Now don't be careless but, those scissors have a time limit on them," Mordred said as he handed them to her. He rubbed her head as he smiled at her.

"Okay." She mumbled then froze where she was when Mordred meentioned her not knowing what a dressing room was. "I, umm..., I read a dictionary while I was in the agency." The vampire lied and it was an obvious one since slaves were not taught to read while they were in the agency but all of them knew simple things. Aneres really didn't want her master to press the subject since she had promised not to tell anyone but she could tell them in a language that they did not understand.

Aneres watched as Sirica ran to her room, she was a bit baffled at how quickly the gird demon returned. The vampire looked between mordred and Sirica before asking a question. "Whats the time limit?"

"Well most of the time it's like an hour and then the shadow object just fades away. I mean if I'm holding it it will stay for as long as I would like it to stay," Mordred explained as he looked at Aneres.

"Okay," Aneres smiled and turned to Sirica. "What one do you want to start with?" She asked then something poppoed into her head. "How big do the slits have to be for your wings to fit?" The vampire started to walk slowly up the stairs.

Sirica trotted along with Aneres, she thought about both questions carefully before answering. "Any one is fine to start. The slits should be..." She paused, stretching the wings slightly, just enough to feel the shirt pull tight, "about, a foot long and five inches apart. When they grow, we will widen the slits." Sirica nodded confidently. They entered the room and she quickly sat dwon and traced with her fingers where they should be. "Here to here, let's cut them!" She smiled broadly. Though she had been out of her egg for thirteen years, for a demon of her species she was still quite young, and very innocent when the ancestral memories did not drag themselves up. They were a life line of sorts, instincts she could rely on should the need arise.

Chase nestled into his arm, ignoring the fact that the neko had just squeeked. Which wasn't right. . . cats didn't squeek, did they? He gave a small grolw, and then tensed when Ari's tail wrapped around him. His eyes snapped open and his fingers curled into fists, what was left of his nails digging into his palm. He forced himself to relax, but his eyes didn't shut and his breathing sharpened a bit. He was not used to this. Why did he even scoot closer to Ari in the first place! Then he remembered when Ari began to feel warm. He closed his eyes, still jumpy but calmer, and rolled over on to his side. The cheetah boy's back was to Ari's and he stared at the darkness inside his eyelids.
Escape. . . how? I've tried for so long. . . Five years. . . Chase's fingers slowly uncurled and his muscles relaxed.
"Unless. . . " He muttered, sighing. Was it finally time to give up and be what the humans wanted him to be. . . ?

Ari was thinking of different things. The next time Nikon came in, they could be by the doors and run out. The neko knew how to work doors well from the other many times he had escaped. Nikon's home was proving to be a challenge. And, there was no way he would give in and become whatever the human planned. There were too many years he had done that. Too long had he been a slave. What was it again? All his life. Ari had spent his life in a cage and then going to new homes only to escape and be brought back. He sighed and looked at the wall. What were the walls made of? If he could find out what, then maybe he would be able to escape. Certain kinds of wall material were softer than others, right? Unless it was just plain wood. That would be easy enough to break through. Ari's mind continued to buzz with thoughts until he shut his eyes and mumbled something softly. He needed to get out. He wanted to see the world outside a city. A world different from the one he was born into. Chase knew that world. The neko sighed again and curled up into a tighter ball.

Unless. . . His brain was stuck on that word. He was thinking but nothing was coming to him, just like a white wall was blocking all thoughts from his brain. He grumbled and his elbow brushed Ari's tail as he shifted, which made him jump. The furry thing wasn't something he had expcted. He dropped his head back down and sighed. It was like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Nothing was the same and nothing could be altered. At least for the day.
Chase's stomach growled again and he let his hand fall over it as a bubbling sensation started in the back of his throat. That never felt good. It felt like someone was collecting acid or something equivalent to it, right there. He groaned.
"Think he give us something to eat? That's not shiny. . . " He asked, raising his other hand to press his fingers to his eyes. He liked to see the pretty colours whenever that happened.

((Pretty colors? You can see colors if you poke your eye? Huh?))

Ari jumped slightly as the other spoke. He was thinking in a trance-like state, so he did not expect to be spoken to. The neko looked at Chase and shrugged, unsure of the food that the human would give him. He had eaten fruit, fresh fruit. That was probably as close to any kind of non-shiney food they were going to get. Maybe if they cooperated with the human, then maybe they would get food. He sat up and looked at the door. It was an idea that he did not approve of, but if it got them food... He looked at Chase and tilted his head to the side. "Eat fruit?" he asked. "Chase did not eat fruit when Ari had some..."

(( Yeah, just press your eyes with your fingers and hold them down, but not too hard. You'll see florescent colours. ^0^ ))

Chase snarled as the neko jumped, edging away after his elbow hit the neko's shoulder. He looked over his shoulder at him, then at the can that sat in the middle of the floor. He shook his head, before then sighed and rolled over, reaching for one.
"Fine. . . " He groaned, taking up a red one and poking at the smooth surface before nibbling on it. It was something, so he shouldn't complain. The neko had a serious look on his face though, one that Chase didn't particularly like. He sat up slowly, a shiver involuntarily ran up his spine as he stared at the other male.

((I don't wanna try...))

Ari glanced at Chase and tilted his head to the side. The other seemed... Well, the neko did not know what the other was feeling or thinking. Was it the way Ari looked? The neko rubbed his ear with his left index finger and purred softly, happy that Chase was eating. As long as he got something in his stomach. Ari curled his tail about himself and grinned. Should he tell Chase of his thoughts for escape? He would not give into the human and being a slave. The neko looked at the other with a curious stare. Someone might have thought it was strange, and it was. He laid down on the ground, stretching his body full-length on his stomach. "Good food?" he asked and looked away.

(( Sorry! I don't know what happened. . . I was looking at it. Then I have to close everything. . . ! *sigh* Something's wrong with the windows. They keep popping up repeatedly without me touching them ))

Chase nibbled on the apple a bit longer before taking a large bite and chewing. His tomach was gurgling, but it was quieter now that he was eating. He inwardly sulked. The neko was mostly right; he should be since he knew more about humans and what happened at certain times. Chase was never brought up like that. He had specific times when he could eat, because that's when the pack caught food and he knew extremely little about what the body did. He had never hung around humans more than to admire how they 'tamed the fierce animal they rode' -drove the safari jeep- so easily.
He rolled over and over until he hit the wall, then brought the fruit to his lips and took another bite. Then he rolled back over by Ari. The boy looked at the neko then looked at the half eatten food item in his hand.
"Define good."
The green eyed youth stared up at the ceiling then his sight jerked towards a vent-looking window-like metal slat protuding a couple of centimeters ftom the wall. He blinked, then a slow smirk spread across his face. Another way out? Maybe so. He raised his free hand slowly, pointing to it.
"Look."

((It's okay. *pats head*))

Ari watched the other roll around and eat. He had to keep himself from giggling because he thought it was funny. When the neko was asked to define good, he shrugged. It may have been a word he knew how to use, but he did not know the definition. He was forbidden in his past homes to learn meanings to things. Ari sighed and laid there on the ground, resting his eyes, until Chase said something. The neko looked at the other and then raised an eyebrow. He was pointing somewhere. Ari turned his eyes in the direction Chase was pointing and grinned. "Escape...?" he muttered and sat up. If they were able to get in there, then they would be able to get out! Freedom was within their reaches. All they needed to do was figure out how to get the vent off and find their way out. He looked back at Chase and smiled.

Chase shrugged, lowering his hand and sitting up, the apple core dropping to the floor. Maybe they coould escape. But what if they didn't? What would that idiot of a human do to them after that? Chase didn't even want to think about it.
"I guess. Wanna try now?"
He looked around for something to stand on to reach the vent, but nothing moveable came into sight. A chest of drawers- looked shakey. A stool thing that looked soft to sit on- also shakey looking. He frowned, but went over to the stool and picked it up, carrying it over to the wall and setting it down there.
"Hn," He muttered, flicking his hair out of his face then backing away from the stool and fiddling with the makeshift bandages. They were annoying him, tightening up when he tensed, so he would remove them.

((Gah!! I do not like Nikon, and I play as him!! *stabs puny human*))

Ari grumbled and looked at Chase as he carried a stool over to the wall that had the vent. He tilted his head to the side and raised an eyebrow. A small stool like that would get thme out? It looked a bit shakey. He scratched the back of his head and looked at the other. He got up and walked over to the other and looked at the vent. There had to be some way of getting out. His eyes were drawn to Chase tugging at his bandages. If he had removed those, then the blood would continue to come out. Ari would not allow him to lose anymore blood. He did not want to see the other die of blood loss. He turned to Chase and grabbed his wrist. "D-Don't take off... Keep on..." he said quietly. "Don't bl-bleed to death." He let go of the other's wrist.
