Kratos ran as fast as he could and opened his palms in front of Ayame's face and flashed light out of them. He bent over the near-dead monster. "Now I understand. This is how the experiment ends up." He binded it with rock. "This is what happens when you attempt to create a Cruxis Crystal in a dead body. Anna... what have they done to you?" The creature continued snarling at Kratos as he spoke. "Anna."

Aleda backed up. Experiment? An experiment had killed her family?

After Kratos flashed the light into Ayame's face she fell backwards on the ground covering her eyes

Kratos laid his index finger of the creature's forehead. A few tiny bolts of electricity knocked it out. He stood up. "Since Cruxis was having a lot of trouble of creating Cruxis Crystal's in living beings, they attempted in dead bodies. Volker was in charge of the experiment with Barung. Obviously, they used Anna since I betraued Cruxis. This creature bears a slight resemblence. They must have realesed it into the forest when it failed."

"Calm down. The desuxis base is Derris-Kharlan. They merely hid from me for 10 years. I think, Volker came to this world to find the remaining Desians and round them up. While Barung and the leader remained in Derris-Kharlan."
