Mina pushed Saphire back into the darkness. She noticed everyone was gone. She walked into the gardens in the mansion and noticed the full moon. She suddenly developed a hunger, a hunger for blood, any blood would do human or vampire.

"Damn, my head hurts like hell," she said, gripping the side of her head with a marble white hand over her jet black hair. "What the hell does that dagger do, anyway?"

She groaned, she knew exactly what it did. She's faced hunters more skilled than Jason, and they had daggers just like those. 'Jason... why?' she thought. 'It will only get worse from here on out.'

Franki doubled over in pain. She let out a scream of pain. She swore loudly many times. Then, she fell limp. She didn't move at all, just lay there, her black hair landed messily behind her head.

'It's happening already? It usually takes much longer...' she thought. She had to help her. "Powers don't fail me now..." she whispered as she put her hands on Frnaki. She tried to find the source of the problem, vizualizing Franki's insides. She found it and she tried to heal her.

Franki twitched a bit and then fell motionless again. The dagger that had pierced her fell out of her hand and down part of the roof. She lay sprawled still.

She jumped off the roof gracefully and picked up the dagger. She examined it for a bit and then threw it at a tree. She watched for some time and finally the tree withered and died. "It sucks the life out of things..." she whispered.

Franki's breathing was shallow and uneven. Every breath hurt even though she could barely feel anything anymore. She was almost completely numb. She twitched again, her head turned to Jason. Her onyx eyes poured into him. She couldn't speak no matter how much she wanted to. All she could do was think, 'Why?' and lay there, all thoughts flashing before her. Her eyes remained open though it wasn't certain that she could remain as alive as she had been.

She leaped onto the roof, now staring at Franki's body. "No.... am i too late?" she whispered and she ran over to her. She started crying, this was the way her father looked before he had died. She moaned and remembered his las ords...
*flashback*
"Father..." i said as i bent over his limp body and cried. "Baby girl please don't cry... i'll always be with you. Don't ever forget that i love you." he whispered and then coughed up blood. "Daddy!" i yelled and cried more on his body. With the last of my father's strengh he reached up and put his palm to my face and said,"Be safe." And then he was gone.
