Hame looked up at Tora for a second, then turned his attention back to Katsuya.
"Katsu... What a nice name." he muttured, continuing to stroke the dark-violet coat.
"I've never seen any fur like this... It's beautiful." he complimented, crossing his legs into a more comfortable position.

And just as Tora had expected, a gentle hum started to resound in Katsu's chest. Normally it would take alot for her to warm up to anyone as she was now, but the constant flattery was too much to resist. She was, after all, a cat by nature, regardless of what form she took. Being possessed by the cat of the zodiac had quite an affect on a person's mannerisms.
Overwhelmed with delight at Hame's words and attention, she moved to rub against his side.
She listened intently, her ears twitching to hear the conversing once her name was given. Again he complimented her, giving her the thought that maybe she liked this kid. It was always easier to like the younger Sohmas. Most were kind and cheerful, like Tora and Tokaru, and now Hame. "How old are you, anyhow?" she asked him curiously.
Content, her purring continued, and as Hame shifted, she settled herself into his lap. She'd let her cat instinct take over now, and was just fine with this kind of attention. "Thanks..." she purred, as he spoke of her smooth, richly purple fur. She realized now that this boy had yet to see her real hair, and the true reason her coat was such an odd color. She could already picture his amazement.

When Tora spoke up again, Katsu felt instantly embarassed. Her ears perked up, then pinned back against her head as she made a sour face at Tora. Though it lost its effect, what with her being a cat at the moment. But Tora had skirted away before Katsu could get on to her about it. Still, Katsu hadn't moved from her curled spot in Hame's lap. He was... comfy. And he was petting her! Usually she was lucky not to get her tail stomped on if she ever transformed in this house.

Tora giggled as she hid around the corner of the kitchen, glad that at least the two were getting along. Since Katsu was so...well...tempermental and Hame was so shy, it was only a miracle the two would gt on such good terms this quickly! Smiling radiantly, Tora almost didn't notice that the house had become eerily quite. She blinked, looking around, but was surprised to see no one around.
"That's odd..." she mumbled to herself, walking around.
"It was roaring loud just a moment ago."

((Aw... I really hope we're not. Maybe we should pm some people?))

Katsu relished the feeling as Hame started behind her ears, closing her eyes and resting her head on his knee. For a moment she'd lost his answer, then process his words again. Sixteen? The way he'd been twirling around earlier she wouldn't have thought him any older than Tokaru or Tora.
"Hm... you look younger. I'm seventeen as of this year." she purred.
She felt relaxed and content here, but then it clicked that she only had a limited time. At this thought she was too anxious to sit and wait to transform again, even if she liked the attention...
So Katsu leapt away, out of grasp, in one quick motion. She turned back to face him before sitting a few feet away, tail curling back and forth across the floor.
"I might... change soon." she tried to explain her movement, not wanting to hurt his feelings.

((EDIT:Yeah... I changed it up. I'll hold out a bit longer for the awkwardness...))

((Oh... psshh! I keep getting confused!! It seems like Tora is so much younger! I mean what with all the cake-making and skipping.... lol!))

((I'm back from the dead X_X I never figured Linear programming could be so annoying... Damn you stupid Math project! I've been on about 10 minutes at max consecutively, so on and off really. Couldn't really post with hunter gone either, he SAYS he'll be back on during the break. I think I might be able to get eggnog back on also.
Plus, I just joined and became Mod in Eggnog's new guild. (It's called Shinobi No Go, It's a Naruto based RP guild, you guys should join! We're in desperate need of people T-T) So I've been trying to get things set up over there too but I'll try to post soon.
Grahhhh, I need to leave at 4am tomorrow to catch a flight to California~ T-T I just wanna sleep. Is that so wrong?))

((I'd join! I don't know a whole lot about Naruto but I love a good rp with some good rpers. Are there any required stuff I need to join?))

Katsu now felt officially embarassed, but at least Hame was being nice about this. This zodiac business was such a hassle. It ruined everything, everytime, without fail. At least for Katsu it did. Like a plague running through not just her veins, but her life too.
She watched as he stuttered and stumbled over his words, placing her clothes neatly beside her, then fleeing towards the kitchen. It was almost comical watching how bashful he was.
She glanced at the stack of clothes and sighed. Might as well.
But she only had that moment before a puff of smoke suddenly consumed her form and there she was... alone, just standing there, bare before the empty room. Suddenly bewildered and humiliated she darted for her clothes and immediately got dressed in about the quickest time she ever had. She went to the couch and flopped down, fully dressed but still quite mortified.
"What now?" she murmured. There was no way she was going into the kitchen. She'd just wait here, wondering where on earth Suzu was. 'Probably snuck off somewhere with Akio again...' she thought.
