Alice just stood there as Neko and Nyl spoke. She looked from Neko, then Nyl, smiling at her as she looked Nyl up and down, catching all of her details before looking around the hall.

Over his left shoulder is slung what seems to be a travelling backpack. That is the most interesting feature of him at the moment. Perhaps the most telling, aside from the fact that dark green tinted sunglasses cover his eyes, and he wears a headband. "I don't remember you. Been around long?" He asks politely as he heads to a different side of the kitchen. Rumaging through stuff to find something.

"Oh! Mizu, then. That's a popular element, these days." Nyl smiled again. "Alice, hm? Nice to meet you." Sne noticed the look, but didn't acknowledge it.

"It's the village I'm from, so I thought it would make sense." She said, never losing her smile. She She then looked back to Nyl for a long moment again before looking around the hall. "May I ask when my first lesson would be...?"

"Maybe a couple weeks or so. Definitely less than a month," she replied as she put her sandwich together.

Nodding to the woman, he finds what he's been looking for. Pulling a bottle of rum from one of the cubboards. To find some rum is luck. Though he hopes it's good. Anything to dull his migraine. "I see. I've been gone a long time. I wouldn't know half the new recruits. Is Neko still Kage?" These questions are what will help him know the current situation. However, after the process weeks ago, he wouldn't be surprised if everything blurs by morning.

"It is... would tomorrow be good?" She asked, looking to Neko again and folding her hands in front of her. She slowly leaned against the wall beside her, being a bit more relaxed than at her village. They would have... well, it's best to keep her mind from that.

"Stupid about... anything...?" Alice asked, then stood up straight again and looked down again, a bit of fear showing in her eyes. Those words were not very comforting to her. She had heard it too many times, and it usually meant, 'Be perfect of we'll beat you.'

"I'm actually not sure, but I'd assume so, given the way everyone seems to run everything by him and depend on him for everything. No one's actually said 'Neko's the kage' or even really implied it since I've been here," she said sheepishly, embarassed that she didn't actually know.

Just don't go putting your life in danger to save a rabbit, or put anyone else's life in danger to look like a badass, pretty much.
Don't do those, and you'll be a welcome member of the family.

Letting an audible 'hmn' sound emanate from his throat, he just nods. "Ahh, well, he was back when I used to live here. Long time ago. So I'll assume he's getting senile or really is still the kage by how he acts, aye?" After speaking he offers her a faint smile and a light chuckle to show he's really not being serious. Then again, somewhere in his mind he plays over the idea of a senile Neko...and nearly bursts out laughing.

"Oh..." Alice responded, feeling a bit foolish as she crossed her arms, smiling a little bit. She continued to stare at the ground though, not staring at anything, but because she was so used to doing so.
