Sammy made a sort of dismissive motion. "We must've walked through the wrong teleporter or something," she suggested, her head turning to the side as she thought about the situation.

"Impossible. This is the Tundra region by all geographical landmarks, see? The cave of the ice types is over that way" he pointed, "and this ice pillar is over here." again pointing, this time to a pillar of Nevermeltice. "This isn't right. What that hell is going on?!" he screamed, scanning the region with any tech he had.

"Well....let's go find the cause of this." Ginji laughed as the screens disappeared and he headed off towards the pillar. "May as well start with the giant pillar thing. There's got to be more then the item reason as to why it stayed."

Arekku shruged his shoulders, "It is called Nevermeltice for a reason, no matter how hot it gets it never melts, thus the name... I do have a little quick fix that will help for a little while, if you want to hear..." He spoke while following Ginji.

That caught Ginji's attention. "Hm?" he tilted his head as he put his hand on the pillar.

"Well, Roddy learned Rain Dance in the last mission, if you have a Pokémon that knows Blizzard, it might just have a chance of reaching enough of the clouds to cause a light snowfall and bringing the temperature some, or at least long enough to find out what the problem is... think it'll work?" Arekku asked, holding out Roddy's pokéball.

"Yeah...it'd work for a good 5 minutes... and that's if whatever is causing this doesn't deflect it first." Ginji sighed as he put his hand on the Pillar, but it didn't stay this time, it sunk deep into the pillar as it were made of water. "?!" he thought as he was sucked into the water tower.

"Gah!!!" Arekku ran over to where Ginji was and tried to pull his foot before he was completely engulfed but he failed and was pulled in as well, Ven had somehow returned herself into her pokéball as Arekku floated there.

The boy blinked twice as he looked around the giant tube of water as he looked around. Then he suddenly realized that he couldn't breath. But he had to breath, there was no other choice, he was going to drown. Fear rushed through his brain as water entered his mouth and filled his lungs. The last thought before he lost consciousness was "I learned how to breath water."
As he sunk down, it seemed that the pillar had been replaced with a tube leading downward to an open air filled cavern where both Ginji and Arekku could recover while trapped.

Arekku had to breathe too, but nothing happened when he inhaled the water, "Looks like you're not so speacial Ginji... it's got to be something about this water... I'm a regular human, nothing abnormal about me..." They entered the air pocketed carvern and Arekku exhaled all the water from his lungs. "What was all that about?.... that pillar had a current that led down here.... but there's no water flowing into the top... right?"

"Right" Ginji smiled as he sat up from his fake sleep. "See, breathing water is easy, you just gotta have the right equipment. "It's Nevermelt Water, in its gaseous state. Odd. Didn't know it was possible to do." Ginji laughed as he looked at their surroundings. A gaint puff cloud of smoke appeared to be rushing towards them. "Joy, looks like we got company. Ice Types no doubt." he sighed a she drew his Pokeball, ready for battle.
"Looks like its a bit colder in this cavern then outside, feel free to catch one." he smiled as an ice type jumped off the floor and tackled him.

Arekku pulled up Torque's pokéball when he noticed that it was matter of factly a Snorunt, and a female from the looks of it. The Snorunt attacked Arekku directly, using Headbutt, which Arekku barely dodged. He tossed Torques pokéball and Torque appeared in a bright flash of light that illuminated the entire air pocket. Snorunt looked very angry, it ran at Torque with it's mouth open and bit down on Torque's fin. It cringed finding out that it hurt itself more than Torque, who looked at the Snorunt like it had just taken his food, Arekku knew how that worked.
Yet the Snorunt continued to send a barrage of Icy Winds towards Torque. It'd learned it's lesson, but the attack were just bouncing off, doing close to no damage. Torque broke another Icy Wind with an Aqua Jet that hit it's mark, it didn't do much damage, but it dazed the enemy Snorunt enough for him to attack with a Crunch, which was a critical hit. It made the Snorunt fall forward, it couldn't get off of it's cone shaped head, so just rolled there, struggling to get up. Arekku almost laughed, but retained it and threw a pokéball, which hit and pulled in the little pokémon.
It shook three times and 'bing'-ed, "Awesome!" he cheered and turned to see how Ginji was doing.

"Cyndaquil! Flame Wheel!" Ginji called out as Swinub attacked with its miniature tusks. The little brown guy recovered quickly as he retaliated with an Ice Shard. Cyndaquil burnt the shards away as quickly as they appeared. "Now! Flamethrower!" Ginji called out as the little guy blasted Swinub with a heated wave to flame boiled inside its body at stellar temperatures.
Swinub's body was badly burned from not being use to the temperatures presented before it. As it readied to atatck, the burn took effect, and the Earthquake had little strength more than a tremor. Cyndaquil smirked as it attacked on its own with a flame wheel, melting some ice and sending Swinub hurdling backwards.
In a last effort to defeat its opponent, Swinub howled as a ghastly wind blew through the cavern, producing a Blizzard. Ginji laughed as he threw a Great Ball at Swinub, using advanced trajectory to hit the Pokemon through the wind and ice. The ball wiggled once. Twice. Thrice. DING!
"So much for that plan," Ginji laughed as he returned Cyndaquil.
