Alice nodded to the man, understanding him. It's just the point of being scared. "I... understand. And food would be very appreciated." She said, giving a low bow and holding it for a moment to show some sign of respect. She didn't move when she came back up though as she watched him carefully.

Reeve smiles genially, inclining a little in response to the bow.
"I realize you're nervous, but it's cold out here. So, I'm leaving it up to you. Would you like to follow me inside, or should I bring something out here? Oh, yeah, and what would you like? To eat, I mean?"

The girl just blinked and stared. She never really had a choice of what to eat before, and did not know what to ask for. "Uhh..." She looked to the dojo quickly, then at the man again, truly confused. She eased down a bit as she started to trust him a bit. She took a few steps closer, but never looked away from him, "Can we go inside... please?" She asked, shivering. It was not snowing, but it was still chilly enough for her outfit.

"Of course. Tell ya what, when we get in, I'll let you have a look at the kitchen stores, so you can decide what you would like to eat. Follow me, please."
He turns and heads for the dojo, but not before handing her his mug.
"Here, this should warm you up. It's not poison or anythin'. My name's Reeve."

Alice stared at the mug that the man handed her, sniffing it before taking a small sip, finding it very sweet, but hot. She smiled, having not had something that tasted this good in a long time. She followed him into the dojo slowly, sipping the contents of the mug constantly.

Reeve holds the kitchen door open for her.
"So do you have a name? It's not generally a good idea to wander those woods."

"Alice..." She said before walking into the kitchen and looking about. It was a bright room and it hurt her eyes a bit. She noticed a fairly big table with chairs around it as she looked back at Reeve, then put her cup down as she slipped the sword and Holster it was in off of her back and sat down, holding it tightly between her legs as she held it still with her hand, her other free hand taking the mug and sipping some more.

-=Neko rolls off of the couch and lies on the ground for a while before getting to his feet. He yawns and runs his fingers through his hair, letting it hand in front of his face. It reached his collarbone now, and was straight and dark. He slipped into the kitchen, not really paying much attention as he dug around for tea leaves=-

"Alice, huh? Curiouser and curiouser. Didja fall down a rabbit hole somewhere?" He laughs. "Only kidding. Now then, what can I tempt your palate with?" He makes a valiant attempt to ignore Neko, then breaks down.

Alice looked over at a new man that had walked in. She felt uncomfortable again as she slowly leaned her sword against the wall behind her chair, then sat appropriately, crossing her legs and staring down into her mug. Alice then looked up at Reeve with a looked of confusion, but smiled anyways. She had no clue what he was referring to. She was about to respond when he broke down in tears. She frowned, thinking it was because of her confused look. "Uh... are you... okay, Reeve...?" She asked, hoping she had said his name correctly.
(~ that's strange, I typed Reeve in and it switched. Uh... did someone edit my post, or something? ~)

-=Neko grabs his favorite tea leaves and takes a whiff of them, instantly waking up a bit. He looked back at Reeve, softly nodding at the young girl in the kitchen, before turning back to make himself some tea=-

Reeve mutters to Neko in passing. "I've been an a**." He returns with hot soup and toast.
"We'd best start light, Alice. Doesn't look like you've eaten in a bit."

Alice smiled to Reeve, unsure of what was happening, or what this 'a**' was. She looked down at the soup and toast, then started eating, sipping away happily at the soup.
