"Maybe..she just doesn't consider them funny. Like, others probably do..like me..but for her, maybe she doesn't find them really friendly?" She explained to Remi, tilting her head to one side, "And - Hey! what about Women!?" She said, in a some-what stern-but-friendly manner, not wanting to make Remi think he upsetted her too much as well.

She nodded her head, thinking of some way to reply, "Do you have other friends to hang around with?" She asked, wanting to change the subject about Aura, not wanting to talk about her behind her back too much.

"Ah..I see.."She replied. She turned her head to the side, and scratched the back of her head, wondering what to say next. Remi didn't seem that bad, he just seemed to joke in a way that people thought was rude. Then she faced him, her face lifted into a smile, "I know! Why don't I be your friend?"

Silverstreak sat watching the exchange of insults between Gwen and Remi. He liked Remi, but thought he shouldn't tease his sister so much. He poked Speakle back, and said "What do you think of Remi?" He waited for Speakles reply, as she was a thinker.

Her ears lowered listening to his reply, "Oh...okay..I guess I'll see ya later," She lightly waved to him slowly as he left, seeing him glance back at her every few minutes. Her tail and whiskers started drooping when Remi's last comment sank into her mind. 'Do I really look funny?' She asked herself . She walked, or limped, over to Silverstreak and Speckle, beginning to find out that it was no wonder why he didn't seem to have friends at all. She sat with the two kittens, forming a mini triangle, observing herself, trying to find anything about her that seemed wierd. She faced them both, "Do you guys think I look wierd?" She asked questioningly, her ears lowered abit more from asking that question aloud. She wasn't aware that Silverstar was asking Speckle a question and waiting for an answer himself.

Her ears quickly perked up and quickly faced the location where she heard Remi's voice, "Huh?" She was wondering why he was still here, "Oh.." She replied to his question, and turned away, facing the other two kittens, clutching her tail, and her ears were slightly drooping again "I thought you didn't want me to be your friend..and you said I looked funny.." Then she faced Remi again, ears perked up once more, and eyes showing question, "Or were you just playing?"

"So we can really be friends?" Her ears perked up, and a smile spread across her face, "And I don't really look wierd?" Her tail was shaking rapidly by that time. She seemed to act like as if the words she heard from his mouth earlier never reached her ears.

Silverstreak laughed. "Gwen! Your tail is acting like one of those dog things from the stories the elders tell me!" He pounced on it, but missed.
