In the infirmary, Virg sits up in bed, chowing down on some unnaturally green Jell-O goodness while he plays over the previous day's events in his head.
Lessee... there was the meteor, which was AWESOME, then I got blown up, which was SO NOT AWESOME. So... what's a hero supposed to do when he gets not awesomely blown up by something awesome?
Virg taps his chin.
I'm pretty sure double jeopardy precludes me from being blown up by the same thing twice. THANKS, CIVICS!
He empties his steel lunch tray into the trash, changes into his street clothes, and hops on board, hightailing it toward the crater.
