"That is something you're going to have to ask her then, because I would be lying if I said I knew the answer to that," Lin told him firmly, "But do know, until us this was all she ever knew. Keep that in mind, whatever she went through, whatever she's going through we can't understand that."
She understood Daeron was frustrated and she really did wonder about him a bit. However, this was an issue between Iorlas and him.

Earendil, who had been listening to the whole conversation, put one hand on his brother's shoulder to calm him. "Daeron, you should try to rest," he said softly but firmly. "Come on. Go to bed. Rest for tonight and come back in the morning if you need."
Daeron shrugged his shoulder out from Earendil's hand. "I'm not going anywhere," he replied. "You go."

It sounded like Daeron was going to be stubborn about this, not that she could blame him. Iorlas certainly wasn't going to go to bed anytime soon from the looks of it.
"Alright, but if we find out you haven't slept the next time we see you we're dragging you to bed."

"Good luck with that," Daeron replied, not even looking at the two of them.
Earendil sighed softly, then turned to Lin and held out one hand. "Come," he murmured. "It's very late. The children need to get to their beds, as do we."

Both it seemed to Lin were going to be quite stubborn about this, but Earendil was right, it was getting late.
"Alright," Lin murmured as she took his hand.

By the time they got back to the banquet hall, Jess and Jasta's family had left, and most of the other guests had made their way back to their rooms. Arthael and Halmir were waiting with River, Miyuki, and Andarien, assuming that Lin and Earendil, when they returned, would look there first for their children. Lin and Earendil were able to collect their children, and then it was off to bed.
During the next few days, storms ravaged the city, and so the children were unable to go to the city to play foot ball with their friends, though River did make the trip to the tannery to spend time with Jess. But less than a week later, it was time for the group to leave. The king and queen made sure that they would have all the supplies they would need to get to Andunin safely before seeing the group off.
"We need to stop at Master Jeremiah's tannery on our way through the city," Arthael told the group as they set out. "River went there earlier to say goodbye to Jess, and I told her she could stay until we came to get her."
Amalirahc was delighted. "Then we can all say goodbye to Jess and Jasta and their parents!"

Miyuki, who was holding onto Senka (or rather Senka was being clingy) looked up.
"That would be great!"
She would like to say good bye to her two friends as well.

Andarien was sitting in the back of one of the wagons with Remiel, with Leilani and Aric looking after them, but at Miyuki's voice he looked up and cheerfully mimicked her. "G'ate!"
Earendil chuckled. "We won't be able to stay long, though. We do need to get going." He ruffled Miyuki's hair affectionately. "But you'll be able to say goodbye, don't worry."

Miyuki nodded, she knew good byes wouldn't take long but still...
"Where are we going now?" she asked him.

"To Andunin," Earendil replied. "If Alassëa's father is somewhere to be found, it would be there. It's the only Westland city we haven't been to yet, either."
He smiled at her as they started off. "Would you like to see on a map where we've been and where we are?" he asked her.
He wasn't sure she had seen a map yet, and it would be good for her education - and she might be interested, considering that traveling was their life, at least for now.

Miyuki's eyes lit up, she knew that her ada made maps but she never got a good look at one. She nodded quickly up and down.
"Yea!"

So while they made their way through the city, Earendil showed Miyuki the maps of the Southland and Westland, showing her the route they'd followed until that point, and where Andunin was located. By the time they'd reached the tannery, he was showing her the route they hoped to follow later on.
"Here we are," Halmir announced as they pulled up. "Miyuki, Amalirahc, go ahead, but remember we can't stay long. We'll wait out here for you."

"Okay!" Miyuki nodded as she hopped out of the cart and hurried over to the shop door.
Though when she opened it, she did wait for Amalirahc before entering.

Amalirahc ran after Miyuki as quickly as he could, grinning.
"Funny, huh? Usually I have to wait for you!" he laughed as he followed Miyuki inside.
Inside the shop, there was no one in sight. Amalirahc frowned and looked around. "Maybe in the back?"

"Should we go check?" Miyuki inquired.
They might be in the back, it was really quiet.
"Just go, you need to find River anyways otherwise we can't leave," Senka told the two from where she was in Miyuki's arms.
