l-Kathulu-l I would level up your Flaffy and get to to evolve into an Ampharos. Ampharos has a great Special Attack stat, so I would consider going out and buying Thunder from the Goldenrod store and teaching that. I'm gonna assume your Flaffy knows Thundershock, it won't learn another Elec move until it evolves into Ampharos, and then it learns Thunderpunch. EDIT - Go get the Quick Claw from the teacher in the National Park. It can help Yeah... Gyrados is using quick claw right now. I also realized Flaffy should of evolved by now. Curse you Daycare!

I bear Clair while I still had Croconaw. Then beat the E4 with my strongest pokemon being Lugia, at level 47. All about that strategy.

l-Kathulu-l I bear Clair while I still had Croconaw. Then beat the E4 with my strongest pokemon being Lugia, at level 47. All about that strategy.  Chikorita for me. o_o' I had Chikorita up till the Kimono Girls, 'cause it learns all its moves 20 levels faster if you don't evolve it.

mondude Lost to claire. I hate Kingdra. I paralyzed it, then got it down enough HP to where Clair wouldn't heal it, then I sent out Gyarados and used Dragon Rage. Automatic 40 HP sapper, works well when the 'mon is weak

Light Screen? I thought that was a rahter useless move. I am not schooled in strategy at all. Flaffy is going to evovle soon, and then I will teach Ampharos light screen and Thunder. My mom deceided to stop given me useless berries and I got a moon stone, should I use it on Nidorino?

I beat the game without my Ampharos ever reaching level 50, so I wouldn't. I would suggest getting your Ampharos up to get Thunderpunch. Then give it a quick claw or focus sash or something and use Thunderpunch on Gyarados. If your going to grind, get Ampharos up to level 34 and learn Discharge. That is just perfect for Ampharos

Yes to moonstone on Nidorino.
No to not teaching Light Screen, your team seems like it needs a special defense boost, and it'll force people to use physical attacks on Ampharos which will up the chances of them getting Static'd.
Also if you have some money I would suggest you hit up the Daily Drawing at the Goldenrod Dept Store. One day of the week they hand out Charge Beam TMs, which have a 75% chance of increasing the user's Sp-Atk after attacking. Would work wonders for Ampharos.

I'm not grinding at the moment, so what I understand is do this.
Flaffy is one level from Ampharos.
:Teach Apmharos Thunder and Light Screen.
:Evolve Nidorino to Nidoking.
Any other Suggestions for my Team?

I think if you're going the thunder route it might be nice to put Rain Dance on someone. It ups Thunder's accuracy to 100%, as well as boosts the power of Water-type moves.

well, Flaffy learned Discharge right before evolution, so im using that. and Clair is getting destroyed.
