[ ??? : Dark Margin : Dark Beach ]

Now, now? Amy gave Ajora a purely condescending look, a look that, had it been put into words, might have come out as, "Who the #!$# do you think you are?" The condescending attitude was as an adult looking down on a child who knew no better. Or, in Replica Amy lingo, as a woman looking down on an ignorant little boy with too high of an opinion of himself.

She felt eyes on her, and caught Valmar looking her over, as well as the other women in the group. When and if his eyes met hers, she smiled and gave him the middle finger, throwing a wink on top of it.

When the corridor opened to the Dutchman, she, like Lucian, entered it. Like him, she was also at a loss of what to do. Unlike him, she didn't verbalize it.

[ Ajora ; Bal-Hur ; Alice : Dark Meridian : Dark Beach ]

As the other Replicas filed out, whether it be into the Corridor or on their own paths, the only ones left were inevitably Ajora, Nicholas, Bal-Hur (connected to Azrael) and Alice.

"You three," he began, only to stop himself to look at Nicholas. "Well, two- you're still new, so I'm still not sure about you-- you are the only ones I think would watch my back, even if it's only to assure you're own interests. As such, I want you with me when I ascend Kefka's Tower."

"If I'm right, then the Sun-Cryst, the most powerful source of dark energy I can think of, sits on the top of that tower," he continued, looking to each of them. "And if you help me, I would be more than pleased to share the spoils with you. I'm not stupid enough to leave my only allies unsatisfied."

"I don't expect a fight, I don't expect you to even lift a weapon against people as potent as that clown, and I'd very much prefer to avoid such an instance if possible," he said, raising his hands, palms facing them as if to assure them of his intentions. "I would have you there, if anything, to help ensure we all get out alive. For instance, if in trying to activate the crystal, I am stunned and they turn on us... I would like to think you would help me out."

[Dawn : Mothership : Sleeping Quaters]

"Talking!" Dawn mumbled with annoyance. She slowly slipped off one of her shoes while she continued to rest her head on her knees. Dawn held the shoe up with a threatening gesture, "Now, if you don't shut up or leave, I'm going to make you eat this shoe."

{Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Mothership .:. Sleeping Quarters}

"Uh, no thanks," Demyx said, backing off a step and holding up his hands defensively. "I just ate. Kinda full, you know?"

Instead of confronting the cranky girl further, Demyx headed over to a secluded corner of the chamber, and brought out Arpeggio. He settled himself onto a cot, wedged up in the joint between two walls, and gently strummed a few notes.

"Chick's crazy, man," he muttered to himself as the notes formed themselves into a song.

[[Louis : Mothership : Bridge]]

As Kyle, Sora, and Riku made their way out of the mess hall, Louis had followed curiously. The Grand Councilwoman was mentioned and that was all he really needed to hear to draw him in. So he followed quietly, and waited as all those of more importance spoke among themselves.

"Risky is one word..." Louis finally stated when an opening presented itself, having sat out for most of the conversation, listening intently to the proceeding plans, "What happens if the enemy decides to siege this castle of yours? Given enough time... well, I'll leave out the gruesome details, but a castle doesn't support this many for long."

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Mothership .:. Bridge}

"Disney Castle is one of the most fortified... realms, I guess they are now," Bobbi spoke up in response to Louis, "Not only does it have the Cornerstone of Light, which has been very good at keeping most dark forces at bay, but Mickey is gathering armies there. That's armies, plural. Besides, Minnie and Daisy aren't exactly slouches when it comes to taking care of their people in the King's absence. They've had plenty of practice by now, and the town and castle are more than ready to withstand anything thrown at them, be it a siege, full-on attack, or otherwise."

The Archer grinned proudly, as if the armies and fortifications were all her doing, not merely something she had observed during her brief respite. While at the castle, there had been such an aura of peace and security it was hard to doubt everyone there was safe, despite being leagues away now. Being there, being safe had been a large part of what brought back her fighting spirit after Rae had been killed. She was bound and determined to bring that feeling to everyone.

[Dusk : Caribbean Sea : Landing at the Black Pearl]

After leaving 'Kyle' and his group of tools. Dusk opened her portal to the last place she remembered being before she woke up, The Black Pearl. Though the Pearl was no longer there, she still had her wings she from Garuda. From there it was as easy as following the wind know which direction the ship went.

It took her about half an hour to arrive at Shipwreck Cove, give or take. Dusk landed near the back of the ship, that was unoccupied of pirate activity. Being dark, it would of been hard for any of them to spot her flying in. She dismissed the wings with a light movement of the wind and remained where she was. Dusk turned to look at the starless sky, grateful to be alone, with time to figure out her own thoughts. She was free. Along with the memories and feelings that came with it. She could do whatever the hell she wanted. As to what, that is what she needed to find out for herself.

[Anthony ~.~ Mothership ~.~ Sleeping Quarters]

"I know...," Anthony responded to Demyx. "But I like detail. I like to receive detail, give detail, and be detailed. Sure it takes more time and can be pretty complex if you forget to mention something and have to backtrack, but I feel it's better to be detail than to leave room for assumptions. 'Cause you know what happens when you assume, right?"

The young man turned his head towards Dawn, feeling sympathetic. They've all had a long day, and there will be many more like it in their near future.

Swinging his feet off the bed, the knight stood up and pulled the blankets back to the hilt of the bed, then walked around the bed towards Dawn. "C'mon, sleepy head," he said, placing one arm underneath the girl's knees and the other behind her back. "Time for bed." Anthony lifted Dawn up and put her down on the bed, then pulled the blankets over her, tucking her in.

Once that was over with, the young man walked over to the bed adjacent to Demyx's and laid down on his back, raising one knee and resting his other leg on top of it, moving his foot to the rhythm of the guitar's strums.

"Today I don't feel like doin' anything...," Anthony sang, followed by some whistling. "I just wanna lay in my bed." Even more whistling. "Don't feel like pickin' up my phone, so leave a message at the tone, because today I swear I'm not doin' anything."

The knight turned his head towards Demyx, and asked, "You wouldn't happen to know how to play that song on your guitar, would ya," even though he knew it was a long shot... they were from two separate worlds after all.

[Nicholas :: Dark Meridian :: Dark Beach]

Nick sighed, putting his hands into his pants pockets. He listened to Ajora's explanation about the crystal and how he wanted it and power. Normally, Nick would be interested, but he couldn't help but think this was going to get them all killed.

"...Alright, I'm in. I feel like this is going to end badly, and I'm usually right on these sorts of things. But I'm willing to make a leap of faith for you just because the reward seems to be worth the risk." He said in a deadpan tone, his gaze locking right into Ajora's forehead.

[Alice :: Dark Meridian :: Dark Beach]

A glimmer of a smile worked its way up Alice's feature and her toes curled in the sand... or what was left of the sand beneath her feet. She had been itching for some entertainment since her most recent transformation and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. Alice knew that perhaps she should feel a sliver of worry sliding up her spine but there was nothing remotely of that sort. She was more than confident in their abilities... her abilities. She couldn't say the same for the Avatar of Chaos; he had already proven his lack of power with his words. Pity.

The Empress of Venom inclined slightly and flourished her hand outwards as if performing a small curtsy as the smile worked itself wider up her lips. She could play for a little while, the idea of more power was just facet of the gem. She wasn't going to instigate a fight, she wasn't stupid. But if it couldn't be avoided; then she was going to enjoy herself some bloodshed. "My allegiance is yours. Let them come at us if they dare, the poison within my veins is only beginning to dance~"

[Azrael: Dark Meridian: Dark Beach]

So, Ajora wanted them to go with him and be his body guards, eh? Why not?

The dark portal opened, and in stepped Bal-Hur, and out stepped Az shortly after, sporting his finished hair cut. With a sigh and a rub of his head, the male rolled his shoulders and stretched. Hopefully they'd move quickly and be done with it.

((Holy crap, this one at least is going to be a massive bit of a catch up post, going to rush Auron to mess hall basically.))
{Auron : Hawaii : Mothership -> Mess Hall}

Auron had carried Zidane all the way to the mothership, until he felt the weight of the genome fall off of his shoulder and out of his grip. He turned his attention to the thief with the monkey tail as he spoke to him.

"We're on an alien ship in Hawaii," Auron answered simpl, not even bothering to answer the second question.

He then turned away from Zidane and began to follow the crowd as they moved to the mess hall. There he sat in silence as he listened to the conversations going on around him. This battle had been a victory. However, they did not have long before yet another battle would ensue.

{Leon : Mothership : Mess -> Bridge}

Leon had been in the mess hall with the others, eating the food given to them in silence as he listened to the myriad of conversations going on. His attention turned to Riku, Sora, and Kyle as they and a few others got up and left for the bridge. The gunblader decided to come along to better understand the whole situation. Perhaps he could find out where the King had headed after stopping here.

He entered the bridge right at the talk of evacuating the people of the Island and taking them to Disney Castle. It was indeed a risk, but there was strength in numbers, especially with all of the armies that were assembling there. He leaned his back against one of the walls as he listened to the discussion regarding the safety of the Castle.

[ Ajora : Dark Meridian -> ??? : Dark Beach -> Kefka's Tower -> Ascension ]

Ajora nodded at Nicholas' response. He was admittedly surprised the kid had so little attitude, what with the amount of Darkness coursing through his veins and what little time he'd had to get used to it. Ajora and the others had been born this way, after all, they were in a bit more control by this point.

Alice, however, made him smile. Oh, how those words struck a chord in his unstable black heart.

When Bal-Hur vanished, Ajora hesitated to frown, and did so properly: Azrael quickly took his place, just as silent as the giant before him.

"Well, guess that settles it," he said, clapping his hands together before entwining and popping his fingers. A Corridor opened up to his side and, though normally he would have offered the others to go first, he stepped in, leaving it open for those behind him. He knew they wouldn't just jump into possible danger- they were guardians, not meat shields.

---

The portal opened up into the only room Ajora had ever seen-- Kefka's foyer of sorts. The room was, for the most part, a large rectangle, roughly 12 feet high but at least 40 feet long and 18 feet wide. The ground was made up of dark gray, square stone tiles, all aged by what seemed to be possibly hundreds and hundreds of years. The walls themselves were built of similarly-fashioned, though smaller, bricks. These walls were mostly lined with cases of books and tomes of different languages and ages. On one end of the room there was a large, semi-circle alcove with a small circular table in the center; on this table lay a large basin of water, perfectly calm and serene.

In the middle of the room, built into the longer walls and opposite from one another, were two small alcoves, each with a single strand of glowing light rising from the ground to about human height and glowing different colors.

Kefka, it seemed, was out and about who knew where. Whether or not Maria was here, Ajora didn't seem to care.

He immediately felt a pull- something he'd always felt, but never to such a clear extent. To the others, it would have felt merely like this place was a safe-haven, a home for their sinister brethren. Ajora, however, felt it like... like metaphorical gravity. Pulling him higher, calling him to ascend.

Without bothering to figure out which portal went where, he stepped into the one on his right, glowing a pale green compared to the opposing dark indigo.

---

There was a small flash of light-- nothing damaging, just enough to make one blink-- and he was in a different room all together.

No, not a room-- an area. A massive hall. His entrance was on the back wall, a single portal, and before him was a massive opening. The wall opposite Ajora was an indeterminable distance away- between him and it, there was a gargantuan, edged gap, lined with waist-high stone railings, and within that gap was a large pillar of pale, lifeless light, encased in pillars. There were two walls on either side of him, at least 30 feet high, and they extended half-way to those rails, leaving enough room for a pathway around the multiple square paths.

Ajora solemnly stepped forward, assuming the others had followed him through. As he reached the railing, he looked down, realizing his was easily hundreds of feet high. He then looked up, into a bright light at the center that could have been considered sunlight if it weren't so very cold and barren, and realized that they were still a few floors away from the top.

Regardless, Ajora grinned.

"I was right," he said, releasing a single, satisfied chuckle. "This is the Pharos at Ridorana."

[[ For the record, imagine the Pharos 3rd Ascent. ]]

[Zidane :: Hawaii :: Mothership]

Zidane quirked an eyebrow as he stared at Auron. Not a talker. Duly noted. For Zidane, who was normally talkative, a conversation with Auron was like a conversation with a rock... even more boring, if that was at all possible.

Wow. Aren't you a cloud on a sunny day. Zidane thought to himself, placing his arms behind his head and watching the silent samurai sulk away. Then, without giving it anymore thought, the thief glanced around the ship in hopes of finding something... someone... more entertaining.

[Alice :: Dark Meridian -> ??? :: Dark Beach -> Kefka's Tower -> Ascension]

Without hesitation, Alice followed Ajora into the portal but not before unraveling her gloves to create a pair of black boots on her feet.She didn't think Kefka would take lightly to his floor being twisted and deformed by poison and she didn't want to leave a trail for any potential enemies to track them down with. Better safe than sorry.

---

There was no doubt that the tower's decor was impressive. The walls lined with age old books and the floor a dark dusty gray that matched the atmosphere. It was much better than the dingy ship they had, called The Flying Dutchman.

Alice continued onward, not pausing to admire her surroundings any longer. After all, the quicker things got accomplished, the less likely they'd be jumped. It seemed as if the inhabitants of the tower were out for a midday stroll and Alice might as well take the opportunity that luck had granted them. Walking through the second portal, the animator stopped beside Ajora, also glancing down at the sheer drop. Adrenaline ran through her as sure and steady as the poison and she easily repressed a sly smile as she looked up.

"Impressive."
