Vincent's 'zombies' slowly rose, the three of them: the twelve-year-old girl, the teenage sports jock, and the nerdy boy. All without their will any longer... all slowly lumbering toward Tao. Vincent himself was perfectly happy to stand back and watch his zombies be ripped to shreds... hell, if Tao wouldn't attack first, then Vincent would just simply walk away. Nothing wrong with that....

"A few zombies? How insulting!" Tao said pouncing at the jock and punching a hole through his chest and slashing him in two before repeating the process on the nerd and the girl before they could aid their undead kin.

The zombies, even cleaved in two, would not cease their relentless assault. The halved zombies continued to crawl along the ground and attempted to grab onto Tao's feet.

"How annoying..." Tao grumbled before stomping on the remains until he'd crushed them into an unidentifiable mess.

Vincent turned to the wall, placed a long hand against it, and then, before one could blink their eyes, he had scaled it, to the roof of the two-story arcade. Vincent walked to the other side of the roof, and stared beyond the edge.
He wondered how many more humans he could grab at once.

Tao was right behind him and now sat crouched on the building's edge. "Well aren't a quick one? I might actually have some fun with you!" he said cocking his head to the side with a smile.

Vincent cocked his head as he regarded Tao.
"...You know. You just seem to want to have fun, am I right?"
Assuming he was correct, Vincent continued.
"I have absolutely no interest in sparring with you. However... I do have an interest in slaughtering those... warm-bodied humans. They are... so tasty. And you've seen what I can do with the dead things. I would propose a contest; who could kill more humans first. At least then, you would glean some sport from it. Is that to your liking, demon?"

"It's Tao...And what would our method of timing be? How would we know when the contest has ended?" he asked, his tail starting to flick about anxiously.

Vincent smiled, a savage grin of mortal glee. "When there are no more humans; keep track of every one you kill. We can take our contest to a populated but enclosed area. I would suggest the mall... but that has been recently compromised, as there is a vicious, armored, toxic juggernaut rampaging there, if it isn't already destroyed. Actually, you might want to seek that creature out and challenge it, if you truly are just bored. However... we should go to a school."

Tao grinned demonically. "Then let the games...begin!" he said snapping his fingers as he disappeared and reappeared in front of a nearby school. he wasn't one to play fair and wait for his opponent in a game. "Guess what kiddies? School's out for good!" he cackled as he aimed a palm at the building, charging up a ball of mixed light and darkness before firing it off.

It was an elementary school... Vincent was only a very few seconds behind, however, and he literally ran through the school building, leaving gaping holes and bodies wherever he went. The scent of blood filled the school... every dead child would now rise and, in turn, seek out other children to murder. Those, Vincent would count for himself as well. This turned Tao's kills into an advantage for Vincent, who was under no obligation to fight fairly either.
"Yes... kill the warm-bodied...."
Which was strange, since Vincent was warmer himself than any human. One hundred and three degrees, to be exact. Maybe the 'warm-bodied' actually cooled off his aching thirst in such heat?
Vincent's death-count rose rapidly, and the rate at which it rose increased as more died and zombified as well. Tao would surely need some sort of trick up his sleeve in order to win, when he was already falling far behind in kill-count.
((I got to go. Past midnight here. Fun day. ^_^ XD))
