I just didn't want to post it for nothing. So in other words, I just wanted some recognition. I had fun writing it so by some backwards logic I thought it may be a fun read. So anyways, thanks Thard!

Ginji yawned as he walked into HQ, the giant egg starring at him in the face. He gazed at it lazily as he poured some coffee into a cereal bowl before drinking it with a spoon. :We meet again fair adversary." he muttered as he looked at the speckled egg.

MISSION- Fearow of Water

A group of Fearow have been harassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their leg bands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the leg bands.

Arekku jumped as the TADS on his wrist went off, confused and partly tired he just clicked it off, not thinking the massage was important. Torque hopped out of his poke ball to join Arekku in his little routine of walking to the fridge grabbing a soda and heading to the teleporter to enjoy the beach. As he stood there, Torque playing around in the water, his TADS went off again. “Ugh! What!?” He pulled it up to get a good look at the screen. He briefly read the massage and called for Torque to get ready to go. Torque hopped up onto the beach just as Arekku dived into the water. He spun around withdrew Torque and began swimming out. He was a pretty fast swimmer but once he got far enough out he noted that there were a lot of harsh currents, not what he was used to. Just as he was about to turn around and find another way a playful Mantine came up under him and began jetting over the ocean surface, with Arekku on top! He remembered where he was trying to get to, “Mantine? I know your just having a little bit of fun but do you think you could take me somewhere?” The Pokemon slowed to nod but sped up as Arekku told him where and which way.

After a short ride and a couple of jumps we all reach the destination, “Thank you Mantine! So much.” The Pokemon looked up at Arekku, just nodded, turned around and swam off. He had a feeling he'd see it again though. Just as he started to get to do a little sight seeing around the Power Plant, A super fast Aerial Ace swiped across his face, leaving a small cut. Just as quick as it happened Arekku drew his poke ball and threw it , out came Roddy in a flash of white light. The Fearow swooped in again except this time with a Drill Peck. Roddy swung his tail around in a super powerful Iron Tail that knocked Fearow away, but the persistent Beak Pokemon just came back again with a Mirror Move and swung it's tail feathers around knocking Roddy back quiet a ways and causing a significant amount of damage. “Marrrill!” Roddy cried in pain, but stood up only to get hit by a ferocious Fury Attack that hit all five times seeming to knock Roddy out for the count.

None of Arekku's Pokemon were trained enough for this kind of attack. Just as Arekku pulled up Roddy's poke ball to withdraw him, Roddy sprang up panting and looked at Fearow. Fearow seemed to say, 'You just don't give up do you!?' It came in with another Drill Peck but was too slow Roddy had already rolled up into a ball and began rolling the Beak Pokemon dove right over Roddy into the ground. Roddy spun around and hit the Fearow with a super effective Rollout attack. It tried to flap but recoiled in pain, it's wing was obviously damaged. So it ran at Roddy with a Fury attack, Roddy easily dodged the three that were sent to him and front flipped with an Iron Tail attack right to the head of the Pokemon knocking it unconscious. “Mar-ill, Mar-ill, Mar-ill” Roddy panted supremely damaged. Arekku didn't even think twice about the other Fearow that was coming in to attack him. He ran over to pick up Roddy and withdraw him into his poke ball.

The next Fearow flew right passed Arekku to quickly spin around to stop his escape. “Grr, Okay next up. I know your weak against this one Ven but if you can just get the one attack...” He threw Ven's poke ball up in the air and in a flash of white Ven popped up. The Fearow looked at Ven and rushed in to get the first attack but as soon as the opponent moved even the slightest Ven Spun around quickly releasing a Stun Spore cloud, Arekku covered his mouth. The Fearow took in a lung full of the air, coughed a few times and it's body stopped moving immediately, causing it to crash into the ground. Ven took the chance to charge for a Psybeam. The Fearow didn't even budge once before the Attack was launched. The Psybeam looked like it did a significant amount of damage to the Fearow. The Fearow began getting up and shot a very mean look at Ven, and Ven took a step back. Only after did Arekku realize that the move Fearow use was Leer and that made Ven more vulnerable to powerful attacks. Ven jumped up spread her arms out wide and let out a strange noise in a Supersonic, aimed directly at the Fearow. Luckily for the opponent it was able to move enough to flap it's wings and dodge the attack. Ven landed and stood to figure her next move should be.

Arekku heard a loud screech and in his peripheral vision third Fearow quickly dove in to attack Ven from behind. But before it could do so Arekku through out Torque's poke ball and the Fearow stopped in it's tracks. By then, Ven had already caused the Fearow to pass out by using another Psybeam. The third Fearow again tried to attack Ven but Torque threw down a challenge that made the Fearow redirect it's targeting. Torque watched as the Fearow came at him with a Wing Attack. Torque waited until last minute to open his mouth and use Ice Fang on the wing that hit him, not did the Fearow get seriously hurt by the Ice Fang attack but it was also hurt by Torque's Rough Skin ability. The Fearow shook Torque off, but being the Savage Pokemon the he was, Torque barely had time to touch the ground before he was off in an Aqua Jet attack toward the Fearow, which wasn't dodged. It hit Fearow on it's underside and knocked it out of the air with a sickening thud.

Torque was about to come down on the Fearow with an Ice Fang attack to finish it off but was interrupted by a group of Growl attacks that came in all around the area. All of the growls seemed to come from a huge group of Fearow. One in particular was Growling loudest. It was also a different color than the rest, much lighter, but it seemed much angrier also. As soon as the one stopped they all did. It slowed to a stop just inches above ground and withdrew it's wings to come down and began walking towards Arekku. The others began cawing quietly as it stopped. It looked at Arekku and seemed to challenge him with it's piercing eyes. Arekku nodded and withdrew Ven. He guessed that that particular Fearow was the leader and would be the most powerful. So in turn he chose his best Pokemon to fight it.

The Fearow waited for Torque's first move and Torque, being the impatient Pokemon he was, Happily obliged. Rushing into an Ice Fang attack, which was dodged by the Fearow. Again torque spun around and tried Ice fang again, but like before Fearow dodged, and still remained on the ground. Torque, completely enraged by now, let his face contort into a horrible Scary Face, which the opponent look at directly. Torque cheered but as soon has he took his eyes off the battle the Fearow, in an amazing burst of speed took a step forward. It had been using Agility this whole time, it had it's body almost completely relaxed to the point it could move about as fast as it wanted. It ran at Torque at a speed that was almost invisible to the naked eye. Torque didn't even see the super fast Fury Attack it was hit with. It hit all five times, causing a fair amount of damage to itself because of Torque's Rough Skin ability. Torque was hurt more though. Torque grunted and use Aqua Jet directly at the Fearow, once again the Fearow's speed outweighed Torque's, to turned around and Mirror Moved Torque's attack directly. The two hit head on. Water and feathers were everywhere as the two continued to use Aqua Jet at each other, Torque using the attack and Fearow Mirror Moving it.

Finally a break though on Arekku's part. The Fearow started to show signs that it was being worn down, but Torque wasn't looking pretty hot either. Torque could feel it as well, so he planned ahead, Torque watched the Fearow swoop down at him with a Drill Peck. Knowing he would probably pass out at this he crunched up his face again to give a horrid Scary Face, returning the Fearow's speed to normal.

Torque was hit by the attack and knocked out. Arekku pulled up his poke ball and withdrew Torque. The Fearow landed, huffing, too tired to use Agility anymore. He just waited for Arekku to throw another poke ball out onto the field. Out popped Ven, she hadn't been hurt in her earlier battle, but wasn't the best match up against Fearow. 'I have no other option...' He thought to himself. Ven Looked at The opponent and got ready to attack. Ven flinched forward and Fearow tried to use Mirror move but it didn't work, Ven took the missing attack time to use a Psybeam attack. Which hit but the Fearow quickly recovered from the assault using a speedy Fury Attack, Ven dodged the first but got it by the next two. She bounced backward, not hurt too terribly bad. The Fearow continued its assault with a Drill Peck but Ven countered with a powerful looking Psybeam. The Fearow tried to fly up to dodge but was too late and was struck by the attack, rendering it useless, it passed out. Arekku won the battle. All of the other Fearow flocked away in fear.

Arekku pulled up Ven's poke ball saying, “You did one heck of a job out there today, I think you should rest” But before he could a loud cry came from behind the bushes to his left. A Spearow dove from the bushes to fly to the fainted Fearow laying on the ground. It turned to Arekku and started squawking at him. Ven puffed her chest out and cried out. “VEN!! Veno-Veno-Venonat!” she seemed to be explaining what happened to the Spearow.

The Spearow flew towards Ven with a peck attack which Ven jumped to dodge and used Psybeam to the Pokemon's back forcing it to hit the ground. The Spearow stood up again and fell forward, obviously confused. Arekku thought it over, “Don't finish it off Ven!” He took out a regular poke ball. And threw it at the Spearow hitting it on the wing. The poke ball hit the ground and shook a couple times with the light in the center turning on and off, after a small struggle from the inside the poke ball stopped rolling and with a 'ding!' Arekku knew he'd caught a new Pokemon. He picked up the poke ball put it on his belt, and returned Ven restating what he had before, “You should rest for a while” as he walked toward the Fearow he saw the leg band that was stated in the message. He looked at the leg of the Light Fearow and noticed the Aqua emblem on the band. He reached down took off the band and began running back to the waters where he hoped the Mantine would still be waiting for him.

When he had seen no sign of Mantine he started swimming to get back to HQ. Once again, like before he felt a bump from beneath him. Mantine rose out of the water carrying Arekku on his back. “Hey Mantine!” the Pokemon nodded and cheered, “Man-Mantine!” He was obviously happy. Arekku thought and slowly asked, “Do you think you could take me back to the island that I was at before?” the Mantine obliged and sped off toward Aquos.

Once back at the beach Arekku took a few steps in the sand and turned to see nothing looking back. He sighed and walked back to the teleporter in once again into HQ. He had a good day, now all he had to do was figure out who to give the leg band to.

"Hey, people." Arekku walked over to and sat on the couch nearest the TV. He sighed.

Sammy walked quietly in, hoping someone would be there. She hadn't run into anyone in forever! "Hello?" she asked, a puppy-dog face plastered.

"CODY!!" Sammy yowled to the skies, running over to her little brother and hugging him like there was no tomorrow. "I missed you SO much! Why have you been avoiding me?!" She sobbed.

Rc got back to the base, 'I got my Charmander!' he thought in his head, he went to his room. And sat down on his bed, "Life in Aqua is great!"

*Teleports in with Xatu*

"This place has been dull lately, hasn't it?" I ask, to no one in particular. "Hm? So, someone else wants a piece of Team Clone."

*Takes out grading pen and goes to have a look*

Arekku began reading the post left by Thard, he was already proud of himself with the first word. He made a mental note of the things he could work on and do better with then lifted up Trey's pokeball, "I guess you're mine now." He released the pokemon, which backed away from him at first, "I guess you're still feeling a little akward because of the conditions... It'll be fine Trey, I promise." He leaned over and patted Trey's head and stroked the feathers on his back.
