His eyes fell from the sky and looked at a woman who layed herself down on a bench. She too decided to look up at the stars. His eyes stayed on her for awhile, studying her carefully, but returned to the sky after awhile. He wasn't in the talking mood exactly. He hadn't talk to anyone in the longest time since he left Europe. He lost all confidence in his social skills.

she had an eerie feeling of being watched and lowered her gaze to find a man sitting on the ground against a tree. she too, watched him for a moment trying to decide whether to socialize with him or simply ignore him. of course, she was on of the more shy type and was more interested in staying where she was. she realized that she was still staring at the man and quickly took her eyes off him and looked straight ahead into the space infront of her. feeling quite embarrassed, she moved her wings to hide her face in case he had caught her.

He too had the uncanny feeling of being watched and he lowered his gaze again, only to see the same woman... no... not a woman he realized.... she had wings... The vampire let out a soft chuckle as he noticed the wings covering her face. "Do you normally show your wings so that any mortal who walks by may see them if they decided to pass by?" he asked her quietly, not moving from his spot.

she sighed softly to herself and moved her wings away from her face. she looked at the man over her glasses with her blood-red eyes that seemed to have a dull glow to them. Yes I do and it doesn't matter if a mortal sees them...I make sure they don't repeat what they saw to another.

He thought over what she had just said and nodded his head. It made sense. "Heh... I'm sure no one else would believe them even if they did say what they saw..." He stood up and stretched his arms out, the chains hanging from his pants dangling slightly. He enhaled his cigarette and placed his left hand into his pocket, the other holding the cigarette. "The name's Daragio Rahl by the way... It's a pleausre..." His blue eyes, which were behind his dark shades, met her own.

she stood up also to meet his gaze. her heart tightened suddenly when she saw his eyes and she looked away calmly to the side then raised her head towards the heavens. The stars sure are bright, don't you think? her face was bathed under the moonlight and shined slightly. a cool breeze picked up and caused her hair to sway gently.

His blue hair was lifted in the air slowly as the breeze picked up. His eyes went to the sky as she commented the stars. His pale skin looked all the more pale in the starlight. The vampire nodded his head slowly in reply. "Yes... they do." His gaze fell back down, looking at her.

she knew he was watching her so she lowered her head and looked back. she grinned slightly. What? she asked in an amused but slightly embarrassed way.

Daragio was caught off guard by the blunt question. It took him awhile to reply. "What do you mean what?" he asked with a slightly nervous smile. He pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and held it at his side. "I said nothing."

Nevermind. she stared at him and realized something that made her blush. I'm sorry but I completely forgot to introduce myself. My name is Kira. What a fool I am. He must think I'm an idiot! she thought to herself.

"Its no problem at all," the vampire said in reply. "Its a pleasure Kira." He found that his gaze was still on her and he moved it to the side quickly. He raised his cigarette up to his mouth to enhale the smoke.

she wondered why he would always stare at her but soon ignored the question. she had no clue what to talk about since she wasn't very sociable with others. she searched her mind for a topic until finally. So, how often do you come here to this park?

He folded his arms against his chest and let his finished cigarette fall to the ground. The vampire enjoyed the breeze. The heat... actually... he couldn't remember the last time he was truely hot. He couldn't go out in the day anymore. His blue eyes turned back to her, looking at her through his shades. "Not often... I've only been here for a few days. This is the second time I've been to the park."
