Malik was down in teh Arena himself, testing out this newly goddess blessed weapon, seeing if it had any substanital difference in use. was there some kind of visible effect? was is an effect thet came on impact, or somethgin you had to will through the metal..or would it only affect the undead, like the Ghoulbane sword? which is why he had a necormancer down there with him, who had summun up the zombie and partially decomposed body of a fallen breaker..one of those that had failed to survive the skin imbuing process that made them unable to feel pain. Od course if piper came by...well...he was just practicing, right? no work here!
Nightmare was standing and getting rather bored. damn kids wouldn't stop eatting, everytime she got up. it was like all she got to do was sleep, adn then get up and feed the foals, and go back to sleep. and where was that elf. she wanted that pampering that Serino promised she woudl get.
Onyx was still watching, and chuckled lightly, until he noticed something..white..on Kat's ankle. so into the floor, quickly, went teh little wisp, and snuck around to see just what that was.

Aella smiled sadly. "Well, yeah. She knows our deaths, she knows what's wrong with the world. See knows just about everytihng that's happening in the world of the living. It's not an easy tihng to live with." Aella followed the instructiosn as she was told to, and while it looked okay, it didn't look great. She smiled. "Ah...first try..." She handed the slipper back to Eliot. "Meilikki's pretty prim and proper, she wouldn't appreciate being given slipers that look different. Here, can you fix mine up?"
Moonstone looked, a litle interested. "I see." Kinda....he wasn't much of an artist. Actually, come to think of it...he wasn't much of anything. Maybe it was time he try to find a hobby. "How did you get so good?" He swivled his ears and looked around, thought he had seens oemthing...he shrugged. His imagination.

A pat to Serino as he took form next to her as she walked out to the stable. Of course she had made a stop in the kitchen first for a snack for herself and Serino and something for Nightmare and her foals as well. After all...Zephyrs as well as Zephmares needed a little bit of special care as opposed to regular horses. With a smile she stepped into the stables, waling over to Nightmare's stall. "Well, I see you're doing quite well." A hand was held out, offering the horse the piece of raw meat she had. A glance to the foals, one on each side of the mare. Aw, adroable. "So, an Armor and a Flame Tempest." A pet with her free hand to Nightmare's nose. "Nortorious little grubbers, aren't they? But I know how to fix that. Thing about Zephmares is that they dont' need to eat something everyday like normal horses...they can usually go on three meals a week. But they don't know that."

Zahara was bored. She'd wandered all over the mansion, had run into all kinds of people and creatures and now she was restless. She wanted to go outside but she wasn't sure it was safe. Finally she threw up her hands. This was stupid. She had to stop looking over her shoulder, her kin hadn't come after her yet and even if they had, they wouldn't come here directly. She wandered outside and saw what she assumed to be the stable that housed the nightmare she'd seen with Piper earlier. She made her way over and walked in not really sure what she was going to find. She saw Piper standing over one of the stalls and wandered over then saw the two little foals. They were young, either a few hours or a few days old. The miracle of birth. "Wow, no wonder she was grumpy when we first met. I would have been too." She nodded to Piper and just stood there watching.

Eliot, "So much suffereing and pain, doe sit cheer her at all to see what good there is in the world? Even if it is only a little?" She took the mocisn from Aella. "Pretty good for a first try." She remembered hers as nothing but a lump of fur that she was pretty sure the pups ended up using it for a ball. "I think you just need to get used to the sewing part, you cut it quite well." She undid Aella's stitches and quickly redid it, her stitches much tighter and evenly spaced. She then used what had been cut off to line the top of each slipper, creating a kind of ruff. She smiled at Aella, "Little extra warmth and paddign for the ankle."
Kat saw him shrug and was quite thrown off by it. She stumbled for a moment. "I, uh... well..." Come to think of it she didn't know. "I guess It was practice... but my mother may have had something to do with it." she tried to remember her home schooling but she had trie hard never to do her homework and that was all she could remember. "I like to do it... keeps memories strong... and I don't liek to forget..." Her forehead was wrinled. She reached down and scratched at her ankle unconsously.

Aella nodded. "Yeah, she like the good stuff." She didn't really need to get into details aobut it. Meilikki enjoyed hersefl when she had a chance to meet the 'good' people of the world. there just hsan't been many lately. She looked back at the slipper. "Ah well," she rubbed at the back of her neck. "I learn pretty fast."
Moonstone "hmm hmm," a little obsorbed in his own thoughts. Well, now that he had emotions, what was he interested in? Ths proved a new problem for him, as he'd enver seen the need to occupy his time with something so uselss as....drawing...or...whatever was not an asset to his body or his mind. What was he gonna do now?
"Practice...right. Okay, well, I'm gonna seee ya later than." he turned around and headed for the...the...well he'd figure it out when he got there.

Piper turned her head, hair falling over her eyes some seeing as she lacked her bandana at the moment. A smile was given to Zahara. "Yes...but then again she usually is grumpy." She watched Zahara a moment...and watched Serino then.
He was staring at Zahara. Ah so this was the one with the imps. He sniffed at her, nudging about her some with his nose. Inquisitve as ever was the Zephyr.
"Serino, mind you manners you silly Zephyr." A shake of her head before she looked back to Zahara. A tilt of her head to the foals. "Zephmares. Adorable aren't they?"

Eliot smiled, "Jolly good!" she said in her best immitation of an accent she heard while in the city. It made her giggle a little. "well hopefully more will turn up." She put the slippers aside. She had thought she would surprise the Oracle but it had only occured to her that she propbebly already knew about them. "we'll giver her the slippers to morrow morning. Give her a nice change from those boots I always see her wearing. Personally the only time I'd wear something on my feet would be when the snow began to fall." She grimaced at her rather... grimy looking feet. "Although it does give cause for a lot of bathing." She walked to the washtand and promtly began to clean them.
Kat took her book back, a little puzzled. Moonstone was wierd, no other way to put it. She finished her sketches, tucked the book away makign sure the pocket was buttoned closed, and thought maybe she should do something else around here, and wandered off.

She nodded, "Very." A look at Serino who seemed to be very inquisitive. She reached out her fingers gently and let him sniff them before she tried anything else. Wouldn't do to get bit or upset a protective Zephyr. She tucked a bit of her hair behind her ear and then glanced at them. "Two beautiful foals. Gorgeous like their mother." And then she nodded at Serino, "And this handsome fellow must be the father?" Evidenced by the look of the foals themselves. Serino's coloring was obvious. "When did she give birth?" she asked nodding to the exhausted Nightmare.

Nightmare enjoyed the attention, and nickered lightly. and looked at Zahara. flicking her ears forward. boy are you going to get it when Malik notcies the plates. speaking of which, Serino dear, did you tell Piper about the plates? Ow! not so damned hard you little..yeah you better back out of teeth range. for Innoruuk's sake, I more than two of them, use another if one is running low.
Onyx couldn't help it, and laughed again, and sent teh little wisp after his twin. lord that was priceless. a little white moonstone tattoo on her ankle, how precious. and the little wisp stopped into front of Moon's face, and pready out like a little expanding mirror and showed moon what was on her ankle.

Ego boost. He snuffled at her hand before giving it a nuzzle with his nose. Good Zephyr, see? Unless you try to hurt my foals and then I'm hurting you...if there's anything left over after Nightmare is through with you." A little wind from nowhere stirred around the Drow. Wait could she understand him? Probably not. Zahara was given a nicker, and Piper the answer. Then a look back to Nightmare. Plates? Um...no. I forgot? Better tell her that too, huh?
"A day and a half ago." And then a chuckle. "Already trying to get on Ramoth's good side are you? She is a tough girl but she can be quite the sweetheart as well. Though she won't hesitate to kick you either." Piper had had a few close calls herself with flaming hooves. Then she sighed lightly. "So, I hear the last few days for you were full of...imps. They got your to break things did they? I apologize for not being around...me and my fiancee had affairs to attend to."
They had easily learned not to irritate mom too much. When they did that there were teeth and fire about. Though thier interest was shifting. Dad had brought something interesting to the stables. What were those dad? Elves? What do they do? So mom was given a reprieve.
Her attention diverted slightly and she unlatched the stall door, swinging it open and crouching down, digging in her pocket a moment and pulling out a closed hand. Though she didn't offer it to the foals yet...but gave a look to Nightmare as ears listened for Zahara. No she wasn't reaching out to those foals without the mare's permisson.

Aella giggled. That was neat. "She'll like them. She doesn't like to be cold. But just to wron you, she won't wear them unless she's in pyjamas of some sort. She's particualr abvout looking...propper all the time."
Aella looked at her own feet. "I wasn't allowed to wear shoes in the harem. I got pretty sued to it too. But...well...guess I want to get out of feeling like a slave." She shrugged.
Moonstone blinked at the whisp. "It was you I felt hanging around wasn't it?" He mearly glanced at the mirror image, rolled his eyes and swatted the thing aside. "Gees, Onyx. I didn't need to see that." Why did she have to be....enamored with him like that? It was eerie. "Not sure I'd call it carring."

Aella blushed a bit. "Ah no...a harem is not a home. It's a...room filled with woman slaves. We please the king, and thats all we were good for." She was starting to get a little uncomfortalbe. "The king...liked...me alot. We had to wear these very shear, revealing silks." She waved the little tails that she wore on her belt.

She smiled and patted Serino's muzzle. She glanced at the wind around her and blinked then chuckled, "Well since it's techinically her fault that we met I suppose I owe her something." She watched the foals for a minute and smiled at them. She watched Nightmare closely but didn't move from her spot. Nope she wasnt' going to give Nightmare any reason to get upset with her. "The imps taught me how to have fun. It was a rather interesting experience."
