Kana shook his head, "I had no other choice. I couldn't wait by and watch my mistress be enslaved for the next few centuries..."
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hikaru stood by her brother and Father, gazing at Agamemnon with suspicious deep-blue eyes.
"Why are you here and trying to help us?..."

Agamemnon sighed shaking his head "My motives are my business, you wouldn't understand...people never understand the motives of their enemies." He looked to Hikaru with a serious expression "It is true, you are my enemy, but you are also a good person. A person who cares for someone not even kin to herself, yet is also not an object of affections. I wish to test my suspicions, but I would not risk destroying everything I have worked so long and hard to protect. I would have you meet with Professor Ganymede, who created the Latent Eternal Xenomorph to protect Cambyses from harm. He may just yet be the opportunity you need to take back Cambyses Catalyxe from us."

Hikaru took a moment, gazing at Agamemnon with a piercing look, as though to see through to his soul. At last, she turned to Kana, reaching out to the panther.
"Do what you wish as long as it doesn't hinder us. Before anything else, we're going to rescue Mother...Kana, show me where she is, please."
The air rippled with energy between the two as the panther opened up to Hikaru's powers and gave her the knowledge she asked for. The process required energy though, so as she knelt there and pondered, her hand transferred back some of his energy.
A thoughtful expression on her countenance, the girl stared at the ground for several moments before looking towards her father.
"We can teleport to the chamber, but not into the exact dimension Mother's in. From the image I received from Kana, there are no shadows at her exact location; the dimension is small, surrounding only her and glowing with her spirit force. I agree with Kana, it would be simplest to just kill her captor. Upon his death, the warp in space that he created would return to its original shape and return Mother to this world, or rather, the Nether Realm, where he probably took her before sealing her.
However, in the event that we can't kill Cerenz, I'm sure I could...in a sense, 'break' the space warp. Since we're facing a demon, the energy he used to form it can't be much different from our own. If you give me a moment to consult Mother's books, I could free Mother if you and Haru keep Cerenz busy. I'd have to concentrate on the task and if he tries to attack me, I probably won't be able to fight back well.
So what do you think, Father?"

Agamemnon sighed "The gods must be laughing at me...." He spoke up upon hearing her plan "I have control over the shadow beasts set to ambush you, perhaps I could be of assistance in distracting this demon? Just, please, treat me as if I was a hindrance anyway, to throw off my watchers. I am not forbidden to fight such a demon, as long as they think you are my enemy, it will be fine." His wound had completely healed up now, so he went and stabbed himself again "There, that should buy me some more time. The Black Star Nation virus cannot be used to track me while it is busy healing me. I will go on ahead" He turned to Haruko as he entered the portal "Your girlfriend yet lives, check where you placed her body"
Sure enough, the coffin Haruko had made around Xiaedessa was still intact, but her body was completely missing from it.

Tachi closed his eyes in thought. It was a few minutes later when he opened them. "I do not like the risk it puts you in. Your brother and I are not as adept with barriers or protection as you or your mother are. I do not wish for you to take undue risk. However, I also doubt I could stop you. You are the daughter of Takara." He nodded and smiled. "Go read the books. Your brother and I will meditate to form a battle-meld." He sat on the floor and whispered a quick ritual. The wards on the front door began to glow with a faint white light. He pulled Obsidian from his sash and laid the wooden sword on his lap. Haru mimicked his father. When he closed his eyes, he became aware of a presence at the edge of his consciousness. It was somewhat familiar, but not as clear as his sister's presence. He opened himself and recognized the entity as his father.

((Firefox died just as I submitted my post >.<))
"Don't worry, Father. I'll put up a barrier and do my best to be careful. After we rescue Mother, we'll all come back here safely."
Getting to her feet, Hikaru opened the door to the basement, descending the steps into the darkness. Clapping her hands, the globes of crystal hanging at intervals from the ceiling came to life, casting a soft glow about the room Takara used as her personal library and study. The silver-haired girl walked quickly down the rows of bookshelves, knowing the exact location of the section she needed, having thoroughly explored the place with her mother as her guide. Takara had not spared any efforts in making sure her daughter was knowledgeable of the various worlds they interacted with so she could defend both herself and her loved ones to the best of her ability.
Stopping before a line of dusty books, Hikaru ran her finger along their bindings till she reached a certain volume, its title roughly translated from an archaic demon language to, The Fabric of Space and How to Play with It. Dragging it from the shelf, she plopped herself beneath one of the numerous light sources and opened the book, turning the pages with careful reverence so as to not tear its delicate pages, brittle and yellow with age. She probably could have completed her task without this research, but an incantation and a rune or two wouldn't hurt; it would hasten the process at least and time was not something she could afford to be generous with. While her father and brother fought Cerenz, she had to free her mother as quickly as possible so they could all return home sooner and, hopefully, in one piece.
After about ten minutes of reading, Hikaru stood, replacing the tome on its shelf. She was a fast reader and retained knowledge well, achieving top marks on all her language comprehensive exams, whether they be from school or her mother. Before coming to earth, Takara had been her teacher and had schooled her in all sorts of languages, magic, dead ones, and those of other worlds. Her mother had always been a part of her life and now she would use what she knew to get her back.
Moving quickly up the stairs, Hikaru returned to the living room, standing a few feet from Tachi and Haru as she waited quietly for them to finish. Then, it was off to Nether Realm.

Tachi opened his eyes. "We have less than three hours until the link is broken. Let us hurry." He stiffly stood up, a sign of his age. He arched his back and straitened with a smile. Haru teleported himself a few feet into the air and landed on his feet. "We are ready sister."

Cosmona sat at a table on the balcony of the Body & Mind. She was having a drink with Chihaya von Teese while discussing their current issues. She played with the sword of her current martini before popping the olive speared on it into her mouth. "Our numbers keep getting smaller; Io is with the enemy now, Patwinka has been abducted, and now even Tissu has gone missing. If Halycos and Dirga were still around, they would laugh at us." She sighed deeply. Chihaya nodded with a serious expression on his face "Nevertheless, we have to do what we can, as the only remaining acting members of the Cosmic Knights, we must see this through, regardless of the status of our former brethren. These children are our future, the future of all existence, and it is our duty to see them guided properly and safely. And what about the Pillar of Evolution?" "And what of it?" "Surely you know who is carrying it around?" "Why does it matter? You know Koori is too stubborn to admit she is with the child of her former lover, and there is Asuka Ziler to complicate things for her." "Still, the fact remains, she is with the Child of Megami Novus, the child that could make or break everything we have worked to uphold. The Black Star Nation knows of the child, and I cannot say it is in the best interest of our situation to..." "And I don't think it is in the best interest of the child or the mother to decide what is best for them. They will remain as is, they will be fine, Asuka Ziler would not allow anything to happen to Koori, or the child for that matter, and neither would the rest of her friends and classmates. Those children have strong hearts, and I think you underestimate their ability to pull together in sticky situations. I have faith in then, and you should too" She stood up, downing the rest of her martini and leaving the tip under the glass "It is getting late, and I am going home" She took him by the arm as he left the check and got up. They walked out to the parking lot, to Cosmona's car. "Be vigilant, Cosmona, we don't know what the enemy will do next." Chihaya walked to his car "I shall see you later"

Koori woke after two hours feeling nauseas. She got up and went to the bathroom. Shizue had nodded off a little after Koori had. But she woke sooner and was exploring the house.

Asuka had been in the kitchen, fixing the three of them something to eat while the two were passed out. When they were both up and about, she called out to them. "Koori, Shizue, I got some food that's almost ready if you're hungry!"
--- Meanwhile, in space inside one of North Star Dracgo's training rooms... ----
The Elementals and the beings from the future were in the midst of life or death training... "Read em and weep, four of a kind." Vain smirked as he laid his cards on the table.
"Not so fast." Minoto sent a glare over to the Darkness Elemental. "Royal Flush."
"Am I the only one who finds it disturbing that the cyborg always wins?" Izumi sighed. "Anyways, shouldn't we get back to some serious training?"
Namagi looked away from the group, as she began to speak. "As much as I hate to say it, I agree with Izumi. We should be working hard for the tournament."
"Why? In all seriousness, why? Think about it like this, we over work ourselves now with training, then we'll be of no use for when the real deal does come. The only reason I suggested we come here to train is so we could just get away from everything for awhile, to give us all a chance to sort out our minds."
"You have a point. But, I'm not going to just sit around and lose my money all day. Minoto, you ready?"
"Yea, yea." The two stood up from their chairs, heading out of the training room, and off to one of the labs. "Feel free to use the future as much as you want; our technology will give you an edge for sure."

Xiaeriene appeared in the kitchen of her cabin, and she dragged Nergal over to the sofa. "I will be back soon, my friend, wait for me" She searched for Bardok's aura, and, finding it weakly, she teleported, appearing next to him in the lab. "Guns, this is urgent, there is a highly advanced device I need your expertise on, and quickly"

"I tried out a few of my dad's recipies; some bitter-sweet pork on top of lightly steamed rice, steak grilled salmon, and hickory maranaded vegitibles. Hope it turned out well..."
----
Bardok bent his neck down to look at Xiaeriene, then he looked back over to Minoto. "You see a demon girl standing next to me, and I'm not just having a halucinagetic reaction to chemicals right?"
Minoto confirmed she was there. "Yea... why is a little girl in here anyways?"
"Bah... don't ask..." He turned his head back to Ziaeriene, while still working on a new gun of his. "By now, I'm not surprised you managed to teleport into another demension that was hanging in space, but what does surprise me is that you're coming to me for help."

Hikaru nodded and glanced over to Kana, who still lay on the floor.
"Hang on, Kana. We'll be back soon with Mother."
Using what information she had gotten from Kana, Hikaru opened a portal to the Nether Realm, creating it precisely in the chamber that housed Takara's prison. Without hesitation, she stepped through, holding it open just long enough for her father and brother to join her on the other side.

"Not really, frankly, I am surprised the most intelligent being in existence did not forsee my needing his expertise. Regardless, I need your help, my best friend's life is on the line, if you can't come with me, I'll bring him here. If it is money you want I'll pay you." She teleported back home, picked up Nergal, who was asleep, and teleported back to Bardok "Please, you are the most intelligent being in the universe, and I can do nothing for him. Even spending the past six years on the brink of nothingness training and honing my powers, all I can do is rely on you."
