Tokeru ignored Krii's threat, when he heard Kuro speak to him.
"Should I have heard of you? In my opinion, my offer is much greater than yours. Because, how many humans are there on this planet, and how many vampires. Dead humans are easily replaceable, and easily trained, but it is harder to train new vampires isn't it. Especially when we keep killing them. From my standpoint, my offer is very generous, since it will give you a few weeks in which to train your vampires, lycans and demon, and teach them how to survive. They won't need to worry about getting shot everywhere they go, and I think it's a good deal. If you do not want to accept it, then be my guest and refuse, but be aware that many of your new recruits will not be surviving the night, just as every night."

Her gaze shifting to Rogue, she hated to admit it but she was right. But something did not seem alright with what Alexz was saying... Was she becoming a traitor to them again? Her gae narrwoing, she turned back to the table. These two hunters were beginning to annoy her. They'd be the first to be slaughtered if she had her way.
"If you two s**t bags would stop throwing insults and poking your noses in where you are not concerned, I'd consider letting the vampires aid."
Her expression didn't change, her eyes going from Elder to Elder.
"I do not care for you hunters. I do not care for you lycans, in-fact I'd be happy if you pathetic creatures were wiped off the face of the planet. Demons too.."
At that moment, she shifted her glance to Kuro, giving him a somewhat calmer look since he'd been on their side for most of this debate.
"Now I don't wish to stay here, so if it gets us out of here any faster I pledge the Vampires aid until this Mauser is erradicated. But do not expect too much, afterall."
She looked at Rogue, then to Kyrre before speaking into their minds. 'The closer we get, the easier it is to wipe them out.. Who cares for this Mauser...'

Kuro suddenly throws the knife in hand just past Tokeru's head landing in the wall behind him 'I am not a vampire, could you not tell that I'm a Tainted by the fact that I rose from the ground?' Kuro remained in his same position looking at Neko then back to Tokeru 'Do you really think I train the other tainted that come to this city? This is why we immortals are so different to you humans, you need to have others train you to be able to fight us while we can simply train ourselves if need be' Kuro snickered to himself 'Well, we may as well get this meeting going on, as you now have the vampires aid'

He ignored Alexz's comments. Such weakness was disgusting in his eyes. She had no faith in her or the race's abilities.
"Oh, that really persuades me, Tokeru" he spits. "You'll kindly stop hunting us for a while. How about we just step out from the shadows and massacre you all? No hunting then. We don't need mercy.." He narrowed his eyes and bit his lip, rather angered at the thought of others granting Vampires 'mercy'.
Listening to Rikku's speech, he nods to let her know his compliance, then adds his own words.
"We shall aid you in your fight against this Mauser. But do not expect any form of friendship. Our price is in blood, and we take it, as usual, from mortals - hunters included. Our attacks will not lessen nor cease."

Neko had to resist the urge to slam her head on the table. Well, at least everyone's agreeing to work together. That's something, I suppose. Alexz, after this meeting would you like to stay for a little while? I would like to catch up with you and we haven't had a chance to talk since you visited Asmodai and me at our home in Midian.
"Kuro does have a point. Us immortals rarely if ever require training when we reach a new destination and a great many of our abilities are quite natural. Still, it does look like we've all agreed to work together. So, now the question is, how do we proceed?" She didn't like the deceit she smelled from the other vampires except for Alexz.

"Well you tell us, seeing as you were the one to call this meeting. Personally I do not see this Mauser as a threat... I think you're making fuss over nothing, but whatever the case, can we sort something out. The scent of Lycanthrope is starting to make me want to wretch."
She spoke contemptuously. She had no time for these people anymore. She wished to progress with their own plans, nevermind help faff around with this Mauser character. Glancing at Kyrre, she wondered what he was thinking about. She'd always been courteuous enough not to invade his thoughts. He was her oldest friend.

Not caring much for what others were really saying now Kuro leaned over beside Rikku and whispered into her ear 'The sight of the lycans is pissing me off too, sorry mind my language' he smirked 'You fight those two at any point, I would be quite happy to lend a hand, not that you couldn't do it yourself, I just want their blood on my knives' He then leaned against the wall again snickering to himself and gave a glance towards the lycans before closing his eyes.

"Yes, I called this meetings, but I don't have all the answers. None of us do. And if we're wasting your time and you hate us all so much, then why are you here, Rikku? I think you're here because you realize that Mauser is more of a threat than you give him credit for. How many of you died the last time he surfaced? I know the Tainted lost many a comrade and friend, and I'm sure the Lycans and Hunters lost just as many. I ask how we proceed because I am a Tainted, not a Lycan, not a Vampire, and not a Hunter. If we are to make this work, we need to cooperate and we need to help each other out as best we can. You, Kyrre, and Rogue are acting like petty children, trying to prove that you're the best on the playground." Neko turned and gave Kuro a good glare. "You're not acting all that mature either, Kuro. I suggest you shape up."

Krii'Ouse smiled as Rikku called the Tainted, Lycans, and Hunters pathetic. 'Pathetic, you say?' He laughed loud, and insultingly. 'We're not the ones who are forced into the shadows. Not the ones who can no longer eat normal food, like apples, meat, bread. We're not the ones who have to Leech blood off of the Mortals, and satiate our lust for blood every night.'
He grinned mockingly. 'We're not the ones who hide from the sun.' His grin widened. 'Never make an attack without a base. You'll only get burned.'
Turning to Tokeru, he looked at the knife, and sucked it to his hand telekinetically, launching it back at Kuro, landing behind him. 'I think you dropped something.'
Looking at Kyrre when he called Neko an animal, he growled. 'I suggest you hold your tongue, and save the naming of animals for those who really are.' Krii'Ouse was losing grip, slightly. Fur slowly crept to the surface of his face, his mouth barely seeming to poke out, but it reverted to normal.

"You say you own the playground, but I say it's all just hot air. Admit it, I may be an animal to you, but I AM an elder. Not only that, but I'm far younger than you. We all know that with age brings power and only the most powerful of us are annoited as Elders. I may be young, but my power is equal to yours; not only that, but I will only grow more and more powerful as I live and may one day far surpass you. Besides," Neko paused to laugh. "I thought vampires were supposed to be noble and sophisticated, not stupid and immature. It looks to me like the one who actually seems to have a head on their shoulders is Alexz; she's more interested in helping her own people than in barking at us like some kit or pup for milk from its mother." Neko finished her small little jab at the three other vampires, smiling smugly. Krii'Ouse was joining in too, that was good. Maybe with enough goading, they could trick the vampries into helping without being so...obnoxious.

Smirking to herself as Krii'Ouse listed what they couldn't do, she couldn't help but feel superior. Oh they knew so little. Glancing over at Kyrre, her smirk had widened to a somewhat malicious look before her gaze returned to Neko.
"Oh but cat lady, we are noble and sophisticated. Far more so than any of you filthy beings. Now if we could stop throwing the insults around, I believe we have something to discuss."
She couldn't stop grinning as she spoke. Oh she knew something. Rogue and Kyrre knew it too.

*Rogue had sat quietly for awhile drinking from her glass and finishing off her cigarette. It wasn't til Rikku's last comment that she became interested in the conversation again.
She caught Rikku's grin and couldn't help but do the same.

Glancing back at Kuro she whispered so silently it was difficult to make out words, "There are times and places for blood fights, dear."
Smirking slightly Alexz faced forward again and lighted another cigarette. The deceit in the room was so foolish it that it made her sick to her stomach. She listened to their conversations with disgust but she kept a calm appearance.
"I believe that no one in this room is giving their full cooperation..." she replied glancing at Tokeru, Krii, Kyrre, Rikku, and Rogue, "They're all plotting against each other already. It would be a pleasure to catch up. We haven't spoken in quite a while and it's a shame that this is the way we must see each other again, in the midst of all of this."
"Why should we save Lydia? Well, after all, she did aid in saving us from Mauser the last time. I do not see what makes this time any different unless it's your apparent hatred for everyone else in the room. If I am mistaken, please, bark, growl, hiss, or speak." Alexz said with a slight smirk.

Tokeru hadn't even moved as Kuro had launched the weapon.
"Tainted, vampire, lycan it's all the same to me. I don't really care what race you are, the only race that matters is human. Vampires, lycans and tainted would not exist without humans."
Tokeru snickered as he saw Krii take the knife, it was strange seeing the lycan actually agree with him.
"Krii, even if they could come out in the daylight, it would only make it easier for us to hunt. Humans do not have greater eyesight in the night, but in the day, we will own. It is just like the drow when exposed to sunlight, they have lived their entire lives in the darkness."
Tokeru drew 5 throwing blades, and started juggling them in the air.
"Well, if we are all done here, on peut tu boire? J'ai une grande secheress dedan ma gorge, et j'ai besoin d'une liqueur pour la faire disparaitre."
Trans: can we drink? I am thirsty and i need a drink to make the thirsty go away. (Loosely translated of course)
Well, the vampiress was french, why not speak to her in french.
