"I love you too," Lori replied, then rolled over atop Luca and pulled his hat down over his eyes. He kissed his cool lips.
Toby might have told them to get a room were he not now attached to Maia. he crawled up her and kissed her back. Dari pegged them both with the same snowball, safely loosely-packed, as per usual.

Maia laughed again, but didn't look towards Dari. She gave Toby another kiss and pressed snow into his face. "Come on, let's go get Dari," She said. "We can't lose."
"Want to build a snowman with me?" Luca asked.

"MMTH. PFTHA." But that was pretty much what anyone would say with snow mashed in their face. He pulled himself to his feet and made a snowball, but instead of aiming for Dari aimed for Lori's rear end.
Lori gave a surprised yelp and laughed. "I think we've been recruited, m'love."

Luca pouted, but only briefly. He stood, bent, and prepared several badly formed snowballs. He threw a snowball at Toby.
"I said Dari," Maia said, but she was grinning. She threw a snowball towards her favorite alien.

Dari was hit, and retaliated with his own snowball. Toby dodged Luca's throw, but not Lori's, and stumbled trying to run away before collapsing laughing. His face stung and it was wonderful. He was glad he had invited the boys. Well. The other boys.

Once Toby collapsed, Maia offered a gloved hand to him. "Come on," She said. She tossed a snowball at Lori, grinning. Her cheeks were red, her nose stung with cold, but this was fun! "We can make everyone hot chocolate."

Toby snuffled and nodded. "Sure." He didn't entirely trust Maia to not shove snow down his pants or something, but she seemed sincere. He took her hand and stood, then headed for the house. He peered back at Dari and nodded for him to follow. Dari smiled and nodded. Let the elves have some time alone in the snow.
Lori tried to duck Maia's snowball, but it ended up breaking in his forearms, and then they were gone. He turned back to Luca.
"I've never made a snowman before."

"We have plenty of marshmallows," she added, looking to Dari. "Do you want some?"
"It'll be a snowman made by two people who haven't made them!" Luca shook his head, smiling at Lori. "I figure I'll be a deformed looking thing." He took Lori's hand and leaned in to kiss him. "I'll make the head." 7

Dari nodded. Sure!
"Shouldn't we make the..." Lori gestured around his body and legs. Not legs. Snowmen didn't have legs. "The base first?" 'Base' was better than 'snow-butt,' he'd decided.

"Probably..." Luca considered. He looked around in thought. "Hm. How big do you think it should be?"
So they'd make five mugs of hot chocolate, one with extra marshmallows. "This is a beautiful place, Toby," she added, smiling at the werewolf. "You come every year?"

"Um. Well. There's not too much snow..." He got down on the ground, made a snowball, and began rolling it around the ground. If the snow were deeper they may have a better time of it, but he ended up with a dirty ball about a foot high and laughed.
"Maybe it'll be a snowkid."
Toby smiled and nodded. "Every year since we got it. Usually it's just Dari and me."
Dari was wondering what warmth really felt like while he sipped his marshmallowy brew.

Luca stuck a smaller ball on top of Lori's and smiled. "A snowkid," he agreed. "We're staying a while aren't we? We could build another when there's more snow." He placed a kiss on Lori's cheek.
She sipped her hot chocolate. "This is better here," she said. Warmth after a cold day playing in the snow? Bliss.

"Is there supposed to be more snow?" Lori asked. He hadn't checked the weather. They didn't have plans to go much of anywhere so he wasn't worried, but it was still coming down. "Should he have ears?" Lori crouched and began to ball up a little head. "Aw, s**t. Is he gonna have a face?"
Toby smiled and nodded. "Always."

"A snow elf!" Luca beamed and started looking for things to use as eyes and a smile. He felt into his pocket and took out the feather he'd shown to Maia's Christmas present. He offered it to Lori. "Hm... Eyes..."

Lori laughed, feeling like a child in the most wonderful sense, and packed on some snow-ears before pulling the utility knife from his pocket and knocking off the rounded tips. "There!"
Arms. They hadn't thought of arms either. "Uh..."
