Wow... that's an interesting conversation. But may I butt in and say that I really really like that dress? For some reason I love the MS Paint or Paint-esque edits even though I
am too lazy to practice them have no talent for them.
Anyways, I finally finished my project to edit all the rulers of the underworld from my story Langley's Ark. (link in sig) It took a while, but I finished. So I present to you - the seven avatars of the underworld.
In order:
Leayrn, the avatar of suffering and the oldest of the lot. He died when he was a young child and really doesn't remember how exactly he became an avatar.
Mihos, avatar of vengeance and second oldest. He was sacrificed to his tribe's gods and suffered quite a shock when he discovered that they didn't exist. One of the few avatars with a sense of humor - a mean one - but a sense of humor nonetheless.
Dnab, avatar of wrath. She became an avatar when her tribe fell under attack and she single-handedly slaughtered the attackers by awaking the avatar powers. No sense of humor whatsover. Hates cats and Mihos's pranks.
Fastile, avatar of deceit. A princess who became an avatar just by subconciously willing it to happen. The prettiest and nicest of the avatars - except to souls that have done horrible things in life.
Malek, avatar of grief. A librarian that accidently blew up his library when his avatar powers manifested. He's quiet, formal, and doesn't leave the underworld very often.
Enay, avatar of indulgance. Became an avatar by dragging his abusive father's soul into the underworld. Very quiet, absent-minded, and appears to be a bookworm. The meanest of the avatars to souls that deserve it.
And Cansin, the Souless Avatar, and youngest of the lot. Easily bored, became an avatar by refusing to die after a bear mauled him. Only one with a fancy title because he really didn't want to be the avatar of miscellaneous, which is what he essentially is.
I
heart Mihos, personally.
