mondude Hey guys, do you think I could beat Clair in Heartgold wtih pokemon levels 28-36?  If you play your cards right. I'd suggest a strong special attacker with Ice Beam, or a tank with Avalanche.

Lady Psycho Sexy mondude Hey guys, do you think I could beat Clair in Heartgold wtih pokemon levels 28-36? If you play your cards right. I'd suggest a strong special attacker with Ice Beam, or a tank with Avalanche.
Not even, that Kingdra is annoying.

My current team is
Feraligatr lv 36
Pidgeotto lvl 30
Gyrados lv 32
Raticate lvl 31
Nidorino lvl 31
Flaffy lvl 30.

mondude My current team is Feraligatr lv 36 Pidgeotto lvl 30 Gyrados lv 32 Raticate lvl 31 Nidorino lvl 31 Flaffy lvl 30. Intimidate and Ice Fang should carry you through this gym then; I'd switch in and out of Gyarados often.

im a noob to pokemon, so...
My main attacking pokemon should be gyrados using Ice fang? and then I should switch out to I am assuming Feraligatr and use Ice fang, then switch back to Gyrados for Intimidate?

No, I mean, um, say you send Gyarados out first, call him back and send in Feraligatr after he beats the first 'mon, then send him in again when she sends out the third one, etc. Flaffy might be helpful too when you get to Kingdra.

And do you think swords Dance or Dragon Dance would be better on my Feraligatr?

Hmm...
I like Dragon Dance better, personally. Swords Dance is something I save for Baton Passers.

I really hate the game corner. Whats so wrong about buying coins?
EDIT: Started fighting Clair. Didn't expect her to start with Gyrados.

Also I hated Voltorb Flip at first but now I kinda like it. You can get mad coins from the higher levels - I once got 1024 coins in one game.

The fact that gyrados has 8 levels on Flaffy and that Flaffy is super slow doesn't help, because I tried Flaffy and I had to switch.

I would level up your Flaffy and get to to evolve into an Ampharos. Ampharos has a great Special Attack stat, so I would consider going out and buying Thunder from the Goldenrod store and teaching that. I'm gonna assume your Flaffy knows Thundershock, it won't learn another Elec move until it evolves into Ampharos, and then it learns Thunderpunch.
EDIT - Go get the Quick Claw from the teacher in the National Park. It can help
