ryo_dokomi how exactly do i figure out my stats, like con. dex. and the like? should i use my own dice (i feel like such a nerd...wait, i kinda am..anyway) our what....

Kenkaru ryo_dokomi how exactly do i figure out my stats, like con. dex. and the like? should i use my own dice (i feel like such a nerd...wait, i kinda am..anyway) our what.... do i start off with 0 or what number..the fighting system description said gennin have 8, but im going to be an academy student, so do i start off with 0, and distribute from there?
