He rolled his eyes, finding this all to be somewhat tiresome. The outspoken hunter amused him, showing such chasms in the hunter ranks would be sure to get him in trouble later, and did nothing to show the conformity of the hunters. The insults thrown across the room were mostly ignored, but amusing nonetheless. "I do not know this Mauser person. But I do not fear him. If he tries to kill me or friends of mine, I shall end his existence. But if he attacks Lycans, Tainted, even Humans - why should I care? I don't need help from anybody." And with that he folded his arms boldly. It was true though - together, he and Rikku had faced much worse. They had once slammed shut even the gates of chaos. There was not much he feared.

"Kuro." Neko said simply, giving the other Tainted elder a glance. They had worked together long enough by now to know a little of each other's moods, and he would know that she didn't like the way he was speaking. Hopefully he would reign himself in. "Tokeru, Krii'Ouse, you both have a point. Like or not, we need to work together and we need to make it happen soon. You vampires don't like the rest of us, the Lycan and Hunters dislike you, and hell, everyone seems to have it out for us Tainted, but we all have something to bring to this table. Now, it seems that Mauser has abducted that hunter again...what's her name? Lydia, yes, I think that's what it is. I don't know what he wants with her, but it's not going to be something good for any of us, that much I know. We should probably try getting her back first."

"Why on earth would I want to save someone who wants to drive a bit of wood through my black little heart?" he asks, perplexed.

Tokeru murmured to himself in the corner.
When Neko said that the hunters and lycans hated the vampires, she was understating. "I don't just hate the vampires, i loathe them, I also hate the lycans and demon, but I will let the demons slide once in awhile, they atleast act human." he had mumbled this so quietly, that not even lycan hearing would pick it up, unless they could read lips, or minds.
Tokeru looked at Kuro when he spoke. "Why not? I mean apart from the fact that Will would be insanely grateful, so grateful that he would probably look away from some of your, nighttime activities. Why wouldn't you? I mean, you were human at one point in time, i'm sure when you were, you wanted to kill vampires. And yet hasn't your opinion changed now? Speaking personally for myself, and not for the hunters, I could care less if you decided to help Will, as far as I am concerned, we can do it alone. But don't you want to take advantage of all the leverage you can? Use this favor to make you appear more favorable in his eyes? Perhaps remind him later on of what you did to help his wife? Perhaps even use it to blackmail? Why wouldn't you want to save her?"
Tokeru turned to Will and Krii. "I know you probably both want to shoot me right now for saying this but, the entire fact that you are here means you want their help, and the only reason they will give you this help isn't to kill mauser, but to gain leverage in the future. Hell, that's the only reason i'm here. I'm not here to kill mauser, i'm only here to save lydia, she did the same for me once, and I mean to repay the debt. The debt I incurred at the hands of saving one of your idiot hunters. But it is a debt I have on my soul none the less, and I mean to pay it back in full."

Alexz's eyes flickered in anger. She frowned heavily and stared at them all for prolonged periods of time. She couldn't believe their thoughts, their words, or their views on the matter.
Clearing her throat she leaned forward and processed her thought before preparing to speak.
"I believe we're the only two that aren't cutting at each others throats." she told Neko.
"I do believe the point of this meeting was to discuss something important and I don't believe that our races are as important as the situation. Vampire, lycan, demon, or hunter, we are all hunted by Mauser. No race can defend themselves completely alone against Mauser, he is no longer a small threat.
Get your differences out of the way. None of you can judge the other race because you do not know what it is like to be on the other side.
If we're not going to try to fight against Mauser all together then this meeting might as well be over and we all should be condemned to death because we have no chance.
I suggest that all of you keep your snide remarks to yourselves because if you don't keep your egos to yourself this will turn into a bloodfight. Human or not, Mauser is a threat to us all." she said, her eyes traveling from elder to elder.
There was a slight edge in her voice, mostly from frustration. Alexz didn't understand how they could be so childish.
"Tokeru. Now is not the time to state your enemies. Yes, we were once human but we are no different now. Not everyone hates every immortal race. I suggest you keep your opinions to yourself before you are turned on." she told him.

Kuro glanced at Neko as he turned his attention to the last hunter to speak 'Firstly, are you even an elder?' he continued to spin his knife 'And secondly, there you go sounding like you would be easily influenced, you really aren't helping the hunters case' Kuro then closed his eyes 'I also would have to agree with Kyrre, she is useless to us immortals, why should we risk ours our lives to save her?'. Kuro bent forward and whispered into Alexz ear 'What's wrong with a good blood fight?' he gave a slight smile and then returned to leaning on the wall

Tokeru smiled grimly. "If you think I can be easily influenced, you are dead wrong. I honor my debts, and that's all. I also honor my promises. And as to your question, hell no. I don't even know why I was invited, but invited I was. This is a meeting of the minds, and I am free to share my opinions. I am also free to state why you should help save her."
He stood up, holding his scythe. "One of the main reasons you should save her, I will order my shadow stalkers to stand down and ignore your illicit activities for awhile, they will look the other way when seeing them in the streets, and they will temporarily cease raiding your clubs and warehouses. That is my offer. While you may not personally fear us humans, your minions do, and they have the right idea."
He sat back down. "That is my offer, i'm sure Will and Krii will both add something to that effect, either that or I will be dead before this night is over, but I live with the threat of death every day, so i'm not too concerned."

"So we seek to find the female of Will's, and to destroy this Mauser character." Myyth shrugged and went on. "She seemed well enough, if I match the smell and name correctly." Putting a face and scent to the name, Myyth flicked through what memories she had of her.
"The human male, he must not work alone. Do we know of anything else of value that he may have, or that we may be able to acquire from his mind?"

Krii'Ouse thought as words were thrown back and forth. He turned to Rikku with a angered expression, his eyes emanating a red sheen behind his shades. 'Look, leech. I am no mortal. I'm doing all I can to keep Esou from ripping you to shreds in this bar. I'm a Lycan, fool.' He threw down his duster, unstrapped his left shoulder plate, and brandished the Lunite branding.
'I was turned by a malicious group of Lycanthropes back when the Lunite Cult moved into town. Do not underestimate me. I am also no genetic experiment. I have been cursed by these abilities from birth! I was tortured at the hands of Daemons under orders of Astaroth, the daemon my ancestors banished from this realm ages ago, and he wants revenge on my family name.
'It so happens I am the only survivor of the line, which means I'm hunted by the daemons under his power. I've been in worse situations than you think.' He put his shoulder plate back on, and returned his duster to his back.
'Do not idly insult us Hunters. We're more diverse than you think.' He had swapped his gaze between Rikku to Kuro and back a few times during his rant, and looked at Kyrre.
'You would be wise to help us because after he destroys the Hunters, who he finds weak for letting Immortals into our ranks, he'll be coming for you next. If anything, helping us will only help you. Combining our powers will be the only defense we have against Mauser. If we don't help eachother, we'll all be destroyed, and Mauser will have won.
'I'm sure you'd rather let your pride fall for survival. Mauser has more at his disposal than we Hunters do. He has an entire corporation at his disposal, all of them trained to kill us all. He has money, power, manpower, and the means to use all of it.
'If we don't help eachother, we'll be poisoning ourselves. If you let yourself believe you can do it alone, you're singing you're death warrant yourself. Pride cometh before a fall, sir.'
He turned his attention to Myythren, and spoke. 'Mauser, as I said, has power, money, and resources like you wouldn't believe. His corporation is a cover for his true intentions. Archangel Enterprises is the name of the company. They sell technological devices and the like, but behind the closed doors, they're making weapons that will destroy us all.'
He then sensed Kerrigan's thoughts, and her presence. 'My mate informs me that she has information on Mauser that we may want to know.' He turned to the door, his eyes had slowly turned back to their normal white. He walked to the door, opened it, and signalled for Kerrigan to come in.

*Rogue took a drag on her cigarette.* "Mauser is an elitist(sp) like most of us here...He wants us all dead and he's taken advantage of our weaknesses much like we do of one another. He has a large army so to speak, people everywhere that he has influenced, altered humans doing his biding.
Our races are thinning in New York and each of you can admit it in full. We've all lost friends, warriors...and our dignity because our races have been embarassed. How do you respond."
*She spoke into Rikku's mind.* We need to get out of here. We could unite, and get even closer to our enemies to cause the devistation we need, or we can turn our back to the elders and not be as discreet in tearing each race apart, one by one. The choice is yours, Rikku.

When Krii mentioned weapons that destroyed them all, Tokeru immediatly thought of the anti-matter he had stored in the chapterhouse, as well as the semi-nuclear weapons inside the base, and fission bombs.
"Hmm, that reminds me, it appears the only thing that seperates me and mauser, is the fact that I don't sell weapons to people. Interesting. I still think my offer is greater than your threat. Maybe try some sweet talk Krii, you might get a better response, and before you go around using your psychic powers to hurt me, or slam me against a wall, remember that i'm here to help, even if i don't seem like it. Lydia saved my life, and I mean to see that I save hers, even if I die."
He looked into Krii's eyes, and his next thoughts were only for the lycan. Through a meditative technique, he only let his thoughts be read by the lycan, anyone else attempting to read it would see tigers and ice cream cones.
((Btw, the weapons i said, don't even exist, he just thinks they do.)) In my experience, immortals rarely care about the fate of hunters, even if it will spell their doom, but what we might be able to do, is use their pride and greed against them. The older ones might not care about the greed part, but if you appeal to their pride, even if it means supplication, it may work. Isn't it worth to beg and swallow your own pride than see lydia die?

*They will see reason, Tokeru. Immortality only lasts through time. Informing them of their own imminent deaths will break them. It's basic instinct. They drink blood to survive, they'll help us to survive. There is nothing I can offer them to persuade any further. We need our stores of blood for our own vampiric Hunters.* he replied to Tokeru's mind.
*The Lycans will help us, no doubt. Our pact with their pack will ensure that. We have Neko's assistance, which means... thought I don't like it, the Tainted will aid us... The only ones left are the vampires. These Elders seem very stubborn, and they are riddled with the stench, and primal thought of hunger though. I smell recent blood on their breath, though. So they've fed recently... which makes me uneasy. Something is up with three of them. Just let it be, though. Don't bring it up.* He hit his cigarette, and flicked the ash to the ground outside, still holding the door open.

Tokeru showed no emotion except for his usual arrogance as he listened to Krii, and responded, the front of tigers and ice cream still the prevailing thoughts in his mind.
Of course something is up, they're goddamn vampires. No good comes from associating with vampires, but I will order my men to lessen their attacks on the vampires if they decide to agree. I may not trust them, but we do need lydia safe, and although I am perfectly willing to barge in there myself guns blazing, there's a chance she might be harmed if I do so. And just so we're clear, I aint so hot on the thought of tainted and lycans helping us either, for all i'm concerned, they can all die, but we will need them, then after we can hunt them down. And i'm speaking on a general term, there are some immortals i trust and have even grown to love, present company excluded for the love part.

*Well, it's good to know the want to rip your throat out as you stand there is returned.* Krii'Ouse replied, a grin on his face as he looked at Tokeru to reveal his smile. *So help me God, if you try anything on the Lycans, you will eat your leg. If Esou doesn't first.* He puffed his death stick, and exhaled through his nostrils, resembling a dragon.

'The Shadow Stalkers? Should I of heard of them?' Kuro looked at Tokeru once again 'Oh my, you'll tell your men to ignore what us immortals do, but only for a while, what a great offer' Kuro looked upwards 'But of course, how can we be sure that you would do that even for a while' he then closed his eyes 'You hunters can't be trusted'
