Pokemon Limits for Classes. Good enough or should the number be higher?
It's good how it is, I don't really use that many Pokemon.
It needs to be a bit higher but you're on the right track.

Magikarp was swimming away happily, unaware of the nest it was headed straight towards. Only when it met sudden resistance in the form of coral did it stop to wonder why all the other Water Pokémon weren't swimming with him. It turned to his bestest friend Rei to ask for help on what to do, but noticed that he was rather busy fighting Corsola.

Where did they come from? Oh, the nest.

Magikarp hopped excitedly. Perhaps it was his moment to shine! He swam closer to Rei, getting ready in a battle stance, willing to die for the chance to prove himself!

Except Rei sent out a different Pokémon to fight the Corsola. Magikarp deflated a bit. He was never chosen for the difficult battles. He watched as the newest addition to the team, a Gible named Menart, spat out a shock wave of pure dragon fury. Magikarp knew he could learn that too, if people only believed in him! He mimicked the Gible's actions, blowing out bubbles from his mouth in a mock-Dragon Rage. He winced in unison with the Gible when the Corsola rammed its rough body against the little sand shark, and cheered when a few more Dragon Rages downed the first Corsola.

As the second Corsola was slammed with another Dragon Rage, Magikarp's mind went to wandering. Perhaps it could make a new move, an alteration of Splash, that would be so overwhelmingly powerful, it would send a wave of destruction everywhere.

He would call it...

AQUA TAIL.

Magikarp decided to practice its splashing attack in the meantime, training its body for its ultimate move. He went largely unnoticed.

In between splashes, Magikarp watched the rest of the battle unfold. Gible was returned to its Pokéball in exchange for Eevee, who took advantage of a severely damaged Corsola by shooting star-shaped rays at it and dodging most attacks until the Corsola fainted. The Eevee didn't last long against the last Corsola, however, and was forced to retreat to the comfort of its Poké Ball.

Rei sent out his Scyther. Magikarp never liked that Scyther. It was too creepy, always with a murderous look in his eyes. The Countess always told Magikarp that Yami the Scyther was very similar to Rei, and if he just gave the psycho-Scyther a chance, he'd like him very much, but Magikarp just found that impossible to believe. How could you like a Pokémon that has scythes for hands?!? The carp shivered in fear at the Scyther's frenzied dance, and almost uttered a cry when the Scyther attacked. It was all a blur to the fish; one moment, the Scyther would be hunched over, and the next, it was shredding the Corsola to pieces, over and over again. The rocks hurled at Scyther aimed true, however, and Magikarp was relieved to see the Pokémon returned to its Poké Ball, replaced by Horsea, named Leviathan.

In contrast to Scyther, Magikarp always liked the mischievous seahorse. She was outgoing, smart, and rather accurate in a great many things, including her attacks. She always comforted Magikarp when he was feeling down, telling him he was destined for greatness. He dodged a poorly aimed rock blast coming his way and continued his splashing as the Horsea blasted a pressurized cannon of water at the Corsola, downing it with a critical hit. She winked towards Magikarp before returning to her Poké Ball.

Rei looked down at his furiously splashing Magikarp.

"And what are you so excited about?" he asked with a friendly smile. The Magikarp stopped splashing and tried to show off its tail to Rei. The trainer laughed.

"Yes, yes, good form there. But save some energy for getting out of this mess." Magikarp happily returned to its post.

Caleb's grip on the sides of the boat tightened when they hit the bump. His face went blank when he heard Allen talking about paying a fee if the boat was damaged. Caleb was more worried about getting back without the boat. He was distracted with coming up with a plan, when he heard Allen shouting about a nest.

Caleb couldn't help but notice a few coming right towards him, none of them looking too happy. His Mudkip had seemed to notice this as well at started shooting water at them. This seemed to slow one of them down, but the other two were still moving full speed. Caleb pulled out two of his poke balls, letting out his Heracross and Axew.

The large beetle hovered over the water, his wings rapidly moving to keep him in the air. The small tusked dragon sat pouting beside Caleb, none too thrilled about their location.

"Heracross...use Brick Break on the one to the left!" Caleb ordered, directing his attention to the one closest. The Heracross was quick to oblige, swinging an arm down at his opponent. With two of them distracted now, that just left one more.

"Axew! Aim and then use Dragon Rage on the other one," he said. The Axew huffed. The Corsola just rushed at them. Calem scrambled, picked up his Axew, and pointed her towards the Corsola. "Please...Dragon Rage...please...." Calem muttered loud enough for her to hear. The Axew didn't need to be told twice once she saw how close it was. Blue energy erupted from her mouth and hit the pink coral pokemon.

Caleb's Heracross finished off his opponent by lifting the Corsola with his horn and sending it flying. The Mudkip tackled the other before it retreated back down into the watery depths. The third cried out angrily before retreating as well.

"Great job guys...." Caleb said exasperatedly, before calling the Heracross and Axew back for the time being.

"Come on out Neida!" He called his Whimsicott out onto the edge of the boat, "Energy Ball!" He called from the water. The Whimsicott nodded, firing off a super effective ball of grass type energy, 'causing the Corsola to turn tail and run. Another Corsola aimed it's foremost horn at the Whimsicot and sped out of the water to strike her. "Neida! Nature Power!" The little Grass type glowed a bright blue, absorbing the watery surroundings and using it to fire off a huge Hydro Pump, the attack obviously took the Corsola by surprise, forcing it with a critical hit, "Now, Moonblast!" Neida nodded, gathering a huge ball of Fairy type energy above her head to lob at the Corsola. She have a haughty laugh with her arms resting on her hips as she watched the Corsola fade away into the water.

As the Corsola surfaces and attacked, Rose thought quickly about their weaknesses. They were water types, and were weak too... "Mareep" Rose called outher electric type, and she called out a second Pokemon to provide assistance, just one she secected randomly, her Fletchhling.

Skrelp or Eevee likely would have been better choices, but the Corsola were upon them ad there was no time for second guessing the choice. ""Mareep, use Thunder, Fletchilng, Steel Wing" Rose ordered.

Three Corsola targetted herpokemon with Earth Power attacks, but Fletchling flew into the air and took no damage fromthe one that hit it, but the other two teamed up on Mareep, who nevertheless managed to endure the hits. Mareep's thunder attack struck a coorsola directly, making it faint, and stunned the two with it as Fletchling's steel wing connected with one of them "Do it again" Rose ordered.

Fletchling started circling in the air as Mareep unleashed a second Thunder attack on the uninjured Corsola and made it faint too. Fletchling's steel wing connected with the last of the three, and the Corsola lost interest and fled beneath the water.

"Thank you both" Rose said and recalled Mareep and fletchling to their Pokeballs.

Once the battles were finished and the lest of the corsola were chased off, Allen quickly swam back over to the boat, pressing a foot against the top of the nest and his hands against the boat, ready to push, "Mind helping me?" He looked at Michael since he had been swimming earlier, "Everyone, get ready to have their Pokemon pull!" He called. Dolstro nodded and got ready to pull as hard as he could.

"You heard Allen, Pull the best you can" Rose ordered her Azuril and Froakie "Lets get away from this nest before they become bold again and try or a round two."

Rei nodded and looked down at his Magikarp.

"Go for it." It was a simple command, but the Magikarp had never felt so important in its life. Using all of its unremarkable strength, it swam in a direction away from the nest.

Michael looked around right before getting flung from the boat. He hit the water and surfaced with a loud. Really, what happened?" When Allen surfaced and told them what happened he saw the Corsola and said. "Hey Duckworth, care to help?" The Farfetch'd was going to refuse but two Corsola squirted him with water. That made the Farfetch'd angry and he attacked. He started with a poison jab and critical hit it. The Corsola fainted and then the second one attacked with rock throw. The attack missed and Farfetch'd retaliated with Brave Bird. The attack hit but the Corsola survived, and attacked with water pulse. It hit and Duckworth nearly went down. He attempted to hit with poison jab and connected. This corsola went down as well. When the battle was over he swam back to the boat and nodded at Allen. His Pokemon were ready to help as well.

Caleb looked over to his pokemon. The Mudkip floated on his back, waiting for orders. "You think you can do that?" Caleb asked him. The Mudkip giggled before rolling over onto his stomach. He started using his tail like a rudder to help turn the boat away from the nest and began rapidly paddling.

With all their efforts combined, the Pokemon and trainers, they were able to safely remove the boat from the top of the nest and the two trainers in the water climbed back into the boat, "Hey Dol! keep an eye out for more nests so we don't run into anymore." He called out to his Greninja, who nodded silently among the rest of the swimming Pokemon.

Allen sighed, "Too bad I don't have a towel." He grinned to the others, "Good job guys." He turned to look passed the Pokemon, the thin canal curved right, slowly revealing the beautiful Azure Bay. the water from the area seemed to get brighter and brighter as they moved out, turning to a deep blue with sunlight dancing across the surface. There were so many other people out swimming or hanging around on the rocks and small sand deposits. Sure this was a sight everyone in Kalos had seen before, but he was sure the non-natives would be amazed by the sight. He turned ever so slightly to look back at his teammates to see their reactions to the bay.

The glimmering water was a pleasant surprise for Rei the desert native.

"Wow. This place is beautiful. No wonder so many people are here." He smiled, lowered his hood, and recalled his now-exhausted Magikarp. His eyes scanned the area briefly before turning to Allen.

"You know, when I first joined Team Aqua, I was almost convinced I chose the wrong team. I believed water was just an inconvenience, a necessity for the creation of deserts and other land. I never thought it would be so... breathtaking." He scratched his head with a gloved hand and laughed. "I was naive. I still am, I think."

"I'm no stranger to water" Rose commented as she took in the scenery "I spent quite a while in the Oblivia region, lots of small islands make it up. But even so this is quite stunning" she admitted.

Rose looked at Allen "We going for a swim, or did you have something else in mind?"

Michael was amazed at the sight before him, being he was already soaked he jumped into the bay and began swimming again. When he resurfaced he yelled. "Come on in, the waters fine!" Half of his pokemon then began swimming circles around the boat and playing with the other water pokemon. The other half curled up and began sleeping again

While the others might be impressed, Caleb definitely wasn't. He looked almost bored. Seeing the ocean was pretty much an everyday event for him. He glanced over as his Mudkip swam over to the side of the boat and tried climbing in. Caleb let out a small sigh before helping him up.

His face went blank as swimming was suggested by Rose. He looked over at Michael as he shouted an invitation. "Uh...no thanks...I didn't bring a swim suit..." he muttered.

Rei hesitated; he was never a very good swimmer. Well, a little dip won't kill me... Right? He removed his cloak and heavy gear, wrapped it up tightly, and after a moment of trepidation, dove in. The water was cool and refreshing after being in the exposed boat.
