Doctor Sampson nodded at the youth as he left for the rest of his day of classes. As Piotr Rasputin left, Doctor Quinzel skipped in to the Special Services building.
"What's up, Doc?"
"Where have you been, Harleen? Terry has been asking for you to sign off on some of his paperwork. I've already finished giving him my review. I think he'd be a great addition to the school's counseling staff."
"Oh, I'll get 'round to it. How's our lil' patient?"
"Still unresponsive. He has started feeding himself, so that's progress. But he refuses to acknowledge anyone or anything. I dropped an entire box of books while he was in the room and he didn't even jump."
"Well don't you worry about it, Doc. I asked some of his OTHER friends t'come and talk to him, and I'm still workin' on my other plan. Say, did you know that sign-ups for the Glee Club quintuplicated overnight? Mister Dee now has so many people in the club that they're movin' practice into the courtyard in front of the administrative building!"
Leonard just nodded. He had learned long ago to not try to follow Harleen's train of thought.
"It's a shame we can't fix Hartley with the power of music."
Harleen winked at him.
"Who says we can't?"

**The meteor continues to glow red and emit a heat as it began to rise up from the large crater via the telekinetic power of Hero High's Algebra teacher, Jean Grey. Surrounding the crater and watching with interest are all of the school's scientific teachers, namely Henry McCoy, Reed Richards, Kavita Rao, Ryan Roy, Barry Allen and Victor Von Doom**
**The meteor hovers amidst the center of them all as they move in closer for a better look**
"We'll have to get it back to the research labs immediately."
"I will inspect it myself in my own research chambers."
"Thank you Victor, but this is something each of us should have a hand in."
"My sensor detects some form of life even though the rock is solid all of the way through."
"This couldn't have been the only one to land. These streaks of light have happened before in the past few nights. There must be others."
"I will locate them and return them to my research chambers."
"....Fine, Victor. Let's get this back to the school labs."
"Are you sure we should bring it back to a building full of kids?"
"Relax, what could possibly go wrong?"
**The teachers head back for the school with Jean keeping the meteor in the TK field.**

This is Lucy Berkley with CNN and a special news report. I'm sitting the head of the Church of Human Purity, Reverend William Stryker, who is making an announcement. Reverend?
Yes, thank you Miss Berkley. The Church of Human Purity has received sizable donations as of late and we are expanding our view on the Lord's world. The time has come to denounce not just the mutants among us but all these demons with "super" powers. It doesn't matter what name they hide behind...mutant, meta, hero, Avenger, or Justice Leaguer...all are of the spawn of the Devil. We're announcing that the Church for Human Purity will be staging a protest in Midvale, the very filthy town which hosts the abomination that calls itself Hero High. It will be a peaceful protest. We will be asking the good Christian men and women who lead this wonderful nation of ours to take up God's Word and outlaw this school. Outlaw these "heroes." Outlaw all so called "super powers." In the name of God!
Reverend Stryker, why expand the Church's position now?
That "school" produced the vile harlot that attacked this great country. It MUST be brought to it's knees. And thanks to the donation we received from Mr. Ari Ease, we now have the funds to expand the Church's efforts.
