And they seperated the playgrounds after kindergarten for boys and girls. If you can call concrete a playground.

I remember they kept all of the 1st and 2nd graders in a fenced concrete area and all the grades had to take turns using the playground every day. O_o
We had the coolest swingset at one point. it had like...eight seats.
then they tore everything down and replaced the good ol'wood playground with a brightly coloured, plastic abomination that looked like an overgrown TODDLER'S house.
And the new swingset only had one REAL swing and a baby one.
ARG. I CURSE YOU MIKE HARRIS. I curse you and your stupid cheap political scams.

The worst I had was that an assistant teacher in kindergarten got really angry at us when we couldn't spell the word encylopedia. In Kindergarten!

My school didn't have a playground. It had a fenced field and volley ball courts. but the courts could only be used in PE

Besides being left in the basement when everyone else went to mass with two kids I hated in the second grade. They turned on some church music and bounced. I guess they figured were were all black and should get along. rolleyes
