Gaia sells ad spots to certain companies. The companies are free to post whatever they wish in that spot, until Gaia complains. When Gaia complains enough, they have to remove the ad from the selection of ads that they upload to the random loop. Until then, Gaia has no control as to what ads are actually posted on the site.
It's the same thing regarding the images WE post. They don't know what we post until it's there. Once it's there, people can complain and Gaia can remove it ... but until someone notices and complains ... it will remain there.

Things to happen at this site, and as long as nobody is offended enough to complain about it, then it's left alone. This is why people have pseudo-nude pictures in their signatures, and why people have "adult" threads / guilds ... as long as people don't complain to anyone ... it will remain there. Gaia is a user-based website, and the users basically define what they will or will not tolerate.

But finding the right people is tough. Also they aren't always doing things for Gaia, But they're busy trying to develop i guess.

Teh Paige They need more mods and admins counting how many users there are on this site. I disagree with the "admin" part, but I DO agree with the "moderator" part. Gaia has well over 1 million users. All the moderators are also users. Nopt all moderators can do what they want to do as users and still maintain their status as moderator. Not all moderators can be on when they are needed. More moderators that can moderate at different times during the day / night would be healthy for the site ... but then you have to think ... how do you know which moderator is doing what? How do you know this or that moderator is not abusing power? This is the problem with such a site. Power begets corruption. And with well over 1 million users, even the MODERATORS can't keep up with everything that's going on.
