"Oh yeah! Couldn't be better," he mumbled, burying his head in the couch. "SHIIIIIIIIIIT! I can't get rid of HIIIIIIIIM!" he screamed, but the sound was muffled.

Rc woke up, extremely happy for some reason. This hadn’t happened in a long time, but it was obvious that today was going to be a good day. Synn and Light woke up next to him, both from the floor next to his bed. He didn’t know why, but it was a proven fact that the two liked sleeping on the floor better than they did Rc’s bed. Maybe they were different? Or maybe just plain weird? Either way, they were his friends and he loved them just the same. A text buzzed in, waking his TADS as well. A violent vibration shook the device off his nightstand and onto the floor, making a muffled thud as it hit the carpet. He was probably the only one in HQ who had made sure he got the room with wall-to-wall carpeting.
“Well, good morning mission report,” Rc said to the device, smiling as he read the brief. Catching a Plusle shouldn’t be that hard. Suddenly, another messaged sent a vibration from his TADS that seemed to travel all the way up his arm. A Minun too? He would have to catch two pokemon in one day. Boy oh boy. The day just seemed to have it in for him and his pokemon. Chaos popped out of his pokeball, moving to a shadowy corner of the room. “Duskull! Dusk-“.
It was almost 11 and Rc hadn’t even made it out of his bedroom yet. If he was going to do this, he might want to do it fast. He packed a White Flute in his pack, just in case, returned all his pokemon. and rolled out the door. He walked down the hallway and into the common room, seeing the normal crowd of Sammy, Reaper, Cody, and Ike. “Mornin’ all,” he called to his teammates. They all smiled back, either waving or acknowledging his presence as he walked through the teleporter. He had to think of a way to get off the island.
Synn was his first choice. He called upon the tiny Totodile, like he always had in the past. A white light emerged from an exploding pokeball and the Water Type appeared at his feet. “I’m gonna need your help getting to Hoenn,” the boy told the pokemon. Synn simply nodded and sprinted into the water, diving in when the water got up to his chest. Rc ran in behind him, also diving in and starting to swim in what he thought to be the direction of Hoenn. He could probably just catch a Plusle and Minun on the island, but it was too late now. They were already in the middle of the ocean.
The sun was setting as Rc and Synn neared the bustling ports of Slateport. The boy already had his entrance to the city all planned out. He would simply climb one of the support beams for the nearest pier and find his way into the nearest Pokemon Center where he would rest up. Nothing suspicious, right? The trainer neared a wooden pole and started his ascent. The boy had grown up in Fortree and climbed trees all the time. This would be a piece of cake. He soon reached the top with Totodile right behind him, panting as he finally overcame the giant post.
The light of the Pokemon Center was the brightest and shined high into the pink and orange sky as the two partners approached the building. A glass door slid open, allowing passage into the structure that was gladly accepted by the boy and his pokemon. They were greeted by the bright smile of none other than Nurse Joy, who happily took Synn’s pokeball, returned the Water Type, and put it on a healing machine. Rc decided he would take this time to lay down and catch some rest before continuing on his mission.
The morning sun shined brightly into his eyes as the boy woke up. He smacked his lips and wiped his face, realizing he was lying in a puddle of drool. Obviously, he had overslept. A Blissey approached him carrying a tray of bacon, eggs, and orange juice with her as she walked. “Blissey! Blissey! Blissey!” she greeted as she handed him the tray of food. “Thanks a lot,” he replied, taking the tray with a smile and quickly digging in. It was the best breakfast he had eaten in a long time; definitely better than the crap he could cook. The same pink pokemon returned to him, moments later with a pokeball in hand. Confident that it was Synn’s, he took it and stuck it on his belt, picking the tray off his lap and handing it to the nurse’s assistant. It was time to head out.
He pulled out his PokeNav, checking the map. He was headed north to Route 110 where he could best catch a Plusle and a Minun. This was also the route where the Cycling Road was located. Maybe after the mission, he could take a ride on his bike. It was good exercise. He continued walking, finally reaching the outskirts of the busy city. The suburbs were nice. A house here and a house there. They weren’t all clumped together and people actually had, what they call, land. Land to grow their crops. Land to ride their 4-wheelers. Land to do whatever they please with. It was theirs. Rc, enveloped in all the open space, didn’t realize Synn and Chaos popping out of their pokeballs and venturing onto the grass. Suddenly, a cry was heard from both pokemon. They had been hit with electrical attacks from a family of Plusle and Minun.
The Totodile and Duskull fought back with a Hydro Pump and Confusion of their own, the Hydro Pump missing and Confusion sending the Minun into a state of deliria. “That’s the way to do it, Chaos,” Rc cheered the pokemon. “How about one more?”
Another group of electrical attacks hit, causing paralysis to overcome the Duskull and Totodile to cry out in pain once more. Synn sent out a devastating Earthquake, knocking Plusle and Minun to the ground, almost KOing both of them. Luckily, due to Levitate, Duskull didn’t receive any damage. A Helping Hand from Plusle boosted the attack of Minun’s Quick Attack, hitting Synn with a devastating force, knocking the Water Type out immediately. Cody returned the pokemon, relying on a Hypnosis from Chaos to immobilize one of the two mouse pokemon. It worked! Minun was put to sleep! Plusle used Charge, taking in as much energy as it could to prepare its next attack. Rc threw a pokeball at the sleeping Minun. It engulfed the pokemon and hit the ground rolling once. Then again. Then a final time, catching the pokemon inside. All that was left was Plusle. A Thunder was sent Duskull’s way, but was easily dodged. Rc took out the White Flute and played it softly, inscribing the notes as a seal on his next pokeball. He threw the red and white ball, hitting the second mouse pokemon and swallowing it in a mass of red light. It also hit the ground and shook once. Twice. Three times. *Bing* The pokemon was caught.
Rc had two new additions to his team. The mission was a success. He approached the entrance to the bike path and took out his bike, hopping on and speeding off into the rest of the day.

ScytheAidenRyu Positive Reaction / Think Negative! "My my my," I mutter to myself. I was pacing back and forth in front of the mission board and reading what seemed to be a report. "Now how am I going to deal with this one?" Dusclops stood by quietly with a pen and blank paper, waiting for me to decide. "Okay, I think I've got it." As I take a seat, my Ghost-type hands over the grading materials. Thard As mission grades go, this is one of the trickier ones I've ever done. There's a lot happening here, so bear with me. You did a lot of things right, but there are also problems to address. First, the good things. This is a fine example of a well-written mission. It has no major spelling or grammatical errors, and for its brevity still has a good story to it. The battle has a good choreography and balance. Really, from a technical standpoint, the mission is just about flawless! But there are some rules which you've either bent or disregarded in terms of how a mission is supposed to work. First of all, you should have included the mission brief at or near the top of the report. Second, I quickly realized that this is in fact two missions smushed into one! And third, in the games, you can't use a pokeball in a wild double-battle. (As opposed to Colosseum and XD where you snag during a trainer battle) However, despite those errors, it was easy enough to figure out which missions you were doing. And you DID incorporate a White Flute for the two-in-one catch. AND you incapacitated Minun before attempting the catch. (For the record though, Duskull can't use Hypnosis) So now it all comes down to this: how do I give the final grade? You certainly didn't make it easy, but here's my decision. Pass. Keep Plusle and Minun. Awarded P$500. BOTH "Positive Reaction" AND "Think Negative!" are now considered complete. Participating Pokemon get ONE Evo Point. In the future, please don't combine missions. It makes everything harder to grade, and the next time you might not get away with it. Once the grade is attached to the board, I phase out of HQ with Dusclops.

Maddy suddenly appeared on the ceiling in a brilliant flash of purple light, her eyes fixed on the notes in her lap. She was furiously writing and re-reading stuff. "Grrrggghhh..." She ran her fingers through her hair in slight frustration.

Maddy noticed who had acknowledged her and stopped everything she was doing. She lost concentration and her notes and pencil tumbled to the floor as the gravity manipulation upon them dissipated. "G-Ginji!!!" Maddy launched herself at him, hugging him.

Sammy walked in, humming a tune as she snapped her fingers to the beat. It would take awhile for her to pass this on to the mini-chorus she and a friend had made to perform for the school, but it would be worth it. "Hello all!" she chirped lightly, still putting most of her focus on her work.
