She waited, this time, to see his reaction to that request.

He looked at her, half-confused. Didn't she say -not- to use ijutsu after performing this technique..?
He looked back down at her hand, his eyes glancing up to her one last time before he held his palm out over the wound. He took a deep breath and ran his thumb across the cut, ijutsu pouring out of it.

Nyl flinched, quickly pulling her hand away. She covered it with her other hand, mostly so she wouldn't have to deal with it right that moment.
"That's what I expected to happen. But really, Seph, if you're going to be my shojiki you have to learn to question me if you think I'm being foolish."
She stopped, ran that over in her head a few times, and grinned.
"Assuming, of course, that you agree."

He kicked at the ground some, then blinked when he realized what she was asking. "Of course I agree!" He grinned at her, then clinching his fist lightly to keep his finger from twitching, then bowed. "It's an honor, Nyl!"

"I realize you're busy educating your students in the Ho arts, but...oh, wait. You agreed." She smirked semi-evilly. "By the way, you passed. And that was some serious control, you know...but you have to get rid of the chakra in an equally focused way, or you get twitchy."
Her smirk shifted into a genuine smile. "Glad you said yes."

He returned her smile, just as genuine. "Thank you, Nyl." He closed his eyes and bowed again, pocketing his hands upon straightening. "Guess you were right." He said, looking up at the stars. "Most peaceful night this place has seen in ages."

"Scary, isn't it?" She laughed, studying the back of her hand with interest.
...Impressive.
She put her hands in her pockets as well, turning to go inside. "I believe it's well past my long-ago bedtime. Enjoy your night, shojiki."

He laughed too, staring up at the stars, admiring the moon.
"Alright. I think I'll hang out here for a while. I'll see you tommorrow. Sweet dreams, Nyl." He smiled at her.

Nyl went the rest of the way inside, still smiling. It really had been a good day. She headed into her room - lest some upstart student try to steal it from her while she was passed out on a couch somewhere - and went to bed.
((G'night! Lots of meeting-stuffs tomorrow, so I won't be around until eleven EST...hey! We change the clocks soon! Extra hour saturday night!))

Seph moved to the fountain and lay down on the edge, staring up at the sky. He pulled a hand out of his pocket and closed an eye, touching the stars--or so he thought. Something kept interupting his poking. His finger was still twitching. He opened his eyes and looked closer at his finger.
"..Get rid of the chakra in an equally focused way.." He thought about it for a second, then extended his arm again. Thinking back, he had literally cut the chakra off. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath...
((Guess I'll leave it on a cliffhanger there! Night! ))

Fenris woke up in the forest, noticing that now her had her back to Reeve as he held her in his sleep. She yawned softly, then looked up at the sky, recalling last nights events as she started crying again. How could people be so mean...?

How could people be so mean? An interesting thought, and one that Reeve shared, if she only knew. He shuffles a little, showing that he was awake.

Fenris blinked and loooked up at Reeve, smiling at him with tear filled eyes, She then leaned back against him and relaxed. She still loved Reeve, but, even after Neko killed her with that sentence last night...she still loved him too. She hated choices...

Fenris shook her head and stayed still. She was comfortable, and wasn't too sure if she could be around Neko right now without crying. He sounded nice... but his words were so... cruel?
