Maria accepted the kiss, her eyes lightly closing. Her lips met John's and she felt a tingle run up and down her spine as she wrapped her arms around John's neck.

Maria slowly started to pull away as her eyes fluttered open. Her green eyes twinkled as they were now fully open, despite the fact her l ips were still intertwined with John's.

Maria's eyes were fixed on John's, but she finally found enough energy to pull away from his lips. "What was...that...for...?" Her voice had that dreamy effect on it.
