"Thanks..." Rei was becoming slightly worried inside. "Well im going to go find bakura..." She said. Ayirasmiled "I dont mind watching them..."

Seto glanced at Ayira. He had a sinking feeling in his stomach, though of course he wouldn't admit that he was worried about the thief. "I guess I will." He said, looking towards Ayira. "You gonna be okay on your own?"

"Good." Seto smiled, running a hand through Ayira's hair before remembering he had left his Millennium Rod down by the water. "Oh, s**t." He muttered, turning and quickly running out of the house. He was relieved to still see it by the water, and hurried over to it.

Seto nodded, bending down and picking up his Millennium Rod. "We should probably go a little slow on our way to the village. In case Bakura got thrown off the horse on his way back or something. He's probably in the village, though, so... whatever." Seto shrugged. He didn't like to act worried in front of other people.

As they started riding, Seto examined the horizons, searching for anything human-shaped. Or not. It would be an hour or so before getting to the village, so there were no buildings, aside from the house, in sight. After a while of looking, Seto jumped, a little startled. "Look! There's someone riding a horse over there." He said, pointing. It was a lone figure, but too far away to make out details. If Seto had his directions right, then... "It's coming from the direction of Kul Elna." That was a good sign that it might be Bakura, paying some random visit to his old village.

The rider seemed to be coming for them, at full gallop, so it didn't take long before he was close enough to see. Mariku. The blonde perked up, recognizing the two, and then grinned, slowing his horse to a stop. "Oh, look. My would-be murderer." He said, nodding his head at Seto. "What a surprise seeing you two out here. Don't stray too far, though. You wouldn't want to get lost, or attacked."

"Right now? Well, gee..." Mariku tried to look like he was thinking deeply. "I think I'm fetching more firewood. I'm having a little bonfire in that village there. It was the easiest way I thought of getting rid of a body."
