tsukkomi Watanuki He pushed the plate of chocalate cake in front of her. "Well, have at it." Since he was watching her, he noticed her shiver. "Are you cold?" He said with a sense of wonder.

((I'm sort of back! biggrin ))
Alcy's ears perked up at the very familiar sound of video game console tape being ripped. She slowly turned, an incredibly happy grin plastered across her face.
She was next to them in a moment.
"I'll help set up the Wii, then." She set Yuki down and took out a pen before either had a chance to answer, puncturing the tape with the tip and sliding it both ways to cut it. She worked the boxes side open and carefully slid out the top of the two layers of packaging. "Welcome to the world, little Wii." She smiled warmly at it, cradling the Wii in it's cardboard bed as if it were a baby.

Watari looked at Hikaru, noticing that uncomfortable shift for what it was. "Honestly, I think it was an accident. I kind of tripped into Kyo-kun... and he fell onto Kaoru. I think I caused a lot of problems with my clumsiness. Yet, I think things will work themselves out."
He looked at Alcy at her words and laughed softly. "I think we know which system Alcy-san loves," he murmured, hoping to lighten Hikaru's mood, opening his own box and pulling out the PS3.

He smiled happily, like a bashful little kid at the compliment. "Thank you, I'm glad it turned out okay."
After the glee wore off a bit, he responded to her homesickness. "I'm sorry you miss home. I've never really left town, much less the country."
He contemplated eating the other slice of cake, but decided he didn't really want it for himself. "So why did you come to Japan?"

Hikaru looked a little surprised. Not from the explination of how things had happened; rather from the way Watari had subtly changed the subject... just as Hikaru himself had but for a different reason. Watari was trying to take his mind off things, lighten it up, wasn't he? Hikaru smiled slightly, "Yeah... Hey! Alcy-san, who's the father?" he teased as he lifted the XBox out and stood up. He looked back to Watari. "Where to with these?" he asked - 'Thanks Watari'.

Alcy dragged herself away from practically chewing on it long enough to glance up at Watari. "Is it really that obvious?" She smirked, turning to Hikaru. "Why, Hikaru-san, you're the father! Omedetou!" She held the wii out to him with a laugh.

Watari flushed, before putting the system down and flushing darkly. "Ah, well, I'm supposed to set up the tv's first, I believe," he murmured, feeling silly, and getting back up and moving to grab the cart with three flat screen tv's.

"Wow..." He replied with wide eyes, unknowingly softly clapping as if to say 'bravo'. "That is really... industrious."
He thought about it for another minute, and added, "All on your own then? I've been on my own for awhile but I don't think I could do all that."

"Yes," Sawyer replied, "I moved out here by myself. My meema paid for the expense to move my things here, but everything else, I've had to earn with my own sweat and blood." She laughed, "I work to pay for my tuition and rent, and food of course." She took another bite, "I write home often to tell my mother and father I'm alright. Mom still asks me if I'm ready to come home every time I talk to her."

Somewhere he knew he was wishing that he had a father and mother to go home too. He blocked himself from really knowing it though. He instinctively moved the conversation along. "Yeah... TVs might be good." He laughed then faced Alcy, tightening his grip on the XBox 360. "Hush, Alcy-san... you'll wake our XBoxii. I just got him to sleep." His torso swayed slightly as he pretended to rock the game system.

Alcy smiled and bent over to stroke the 360. "They're so cute when they're asleep." She then stopped suddenly and put her ear to the Wii. "... I think Wii-chan's hungry." She gently set it down and quickly unraveled the cords and expertly hooked everything necessary up to the Wii. She glanced at her watch and pumped her fist in the air. "Woohoo! 2 seconds quicker than my record!"

Watari stumbled, catching himself and keeping the tv's from being knocked over as he stared at the two. "Wh... What in the world?" he whispered, looking at the two of them, even as he tried hard not to start laughing at the way Hikaru was acting. Yet he realized he was alone in working with the Tv's and consulted the diagram on the clipboard, to see where the systems were to go.
