There was a conversation, where Shade had explained his entire Story and why he made the choice of Traveling down underground.
"I see...Then you must be the one responsible for my being here."
The Princess approached Shade with some sort of caution.
"It is nothing, really. Anyone can live. It is just that most vermin are not even qualified for such a simple task. They are so easily corrupted by their own Pride and Power. Even a child, whom I am currently watching might turn up like the rest of them, as I speak."
Shade turned away from the Princess and headed out of the chamber.
"Are you coming? You really should get back at the others, If that is what you really want."
The Princess simply glared at Shade and walked behind him. They both headed out of the chamber and back upward to the surface.

Rose just listened to the man talk, but she wasn't really hearing what he was saying. She sighed and thought it would be a good thing to reply to him. "Well you sir, have fun with your little group of people... And you don't have to worry about them making us leave, because we're already leaving." Rose said and then started to ran to catch up with Blaze.
Once she had caught up with Blaze she took a few deep breaths- she didn't run much. Once she got some air back in her lungs she decided to say something.
"Alright then... So cake now?"

"Yep!" Blaze smiled, holding open the door for Rose.
The inside was like that of a normal shop, if you didn't take into account the age and dark atmosphere.
The shopkeeper was busy arguing with what seemed to be a customer, only with a pink Afro. Blaze looked at the shop's goods, spotting stopwatches but finding no cake. So she decided to talk to the shopkeeper's wife if they had any cake of any kind, since the shopkeeper seemed too busy at the moment. The woman pleasently informed Blaze that they did, in fact, have cake, unfortunately, it was in the back of the store, and the woman was a little too busy at the moment to get it for Blaze.
"Um, don't worry, I can get it..." Blaze said, proceeding to the back of the store through a door the woman had motioned to.

"Thanks." Rose walked into the store. She looked around some also finding no cake.
While Blaze chatted up the shopkeepers wife- Rose couldn't help but stare at the guy with the pink Afro. "Que la? What a weird guy..." She mumbled to herself. Rose noticed that Blaze went over to the door that lead to the back of the store- so she followed after.

((Sorry it took so long, I needed to do a little research... sweatdrop ))
After a little bit of searching, Blaze finally found the cake they were looking for. After giving the cake to Rose, Blaze was about to leave when she thought she heard a quiet but still audible sound coming from a large black chest...
"Did you hear something?" Blaze asked, rather interested in the chest...
"Hold up! Hey! Who's there? I just heard a voice!" The black chest shifted following the sentence, confirming that someone was trapped inside,"There's no way that people could be here! Seriously, that's just so unlikely!"
"Um..." Blaze stared at the chest for a moment, not knowing what to say.

The Count took the Shopkeepers distraction to flip a stopwatch into his own possession, before realising how that might mean that Myth was rubbing off on him, so, before he got dragged off by Rose again, he hastily flipped 20 coins to where the stopwatch used to be- if it actually costed more, then...
His train of thought was cut off by a... talking box..?
Meanwhile, Myth was enjoying herself immensely, swiping all the items that surrounded the large black box- it was even better because, if the shop-keeper actually noticed the items were missing, she could just blame it on Blaze, who was holding a suspicious-looking key, anyway~
She winced as she noticed a large box floating above her head, politely informing her that, to hold her ultra-shroom, she'd have to throw out another item...

Rose looked down at the cake she now had in her hands, finally... She had gotten some cake! Rose was ecstatic. She flipped in a fork and took a bite out of the cake- Peach Cake was awesome!
After she had swallowed the bite she looked over at the Count, "Um, so why do you need a Stopwatch..?" She asked him curiously. But she couldn't help but look over at the black chest for a moment... She got an odd feeling from it.

"Hey! Could you get me out of here? An... evil spirit locked me in here. Yeah, that's it an evil spirit..." The voice inside the chest reasoned.
"Uh, I don't know..." Blaze said, with suspicion in her voice. Something smelled fishy...
"Aw, come on, please? Just find the key and open the chest, OK? I know it's around here somewhere, I just can't look for it myself. 'Cause I'm i here. So pretty, pretty please?"
"Well, I guess..." Blaze fingered the key in her pocket. It seemed like it would fit in the lock on the chest...
Blaze pulled out the key, placed it in the lock, and slowly turned it...
"WHEE HEE! FOOLS!"
A strange blue piece of paper came out of the box and became the background for the room. Upon the piece of paper appeared two eyes and a mouth, resembling Count Bleck so much, it was creepy.
"What were you expecting? Did you think a lovely lady would pop out or something? Now I'm gonna hit with you the king of curses, the cursiest curse of them all!"

Rose watched Blaze open the chest and then the strange blue-ish, purple-ish paper that came out. But Rose didn't care about it or anything, it didn't scare her one bit. She took another bite out of her yummy cake.
Rose glanced over at Blaze, "I really should have a talk with you about opening talking chest..." Rose sighed. She took one more bite out of her cake before continuing.
"I've heard about these guys... Black Chest Demon's... They weren't always chests... The Shadow Queen cursed them because they were trying to stop her. They were four heroes but now their just chest that try to curse you with bad luck but it turns out being good luck." Rose summarized and took another bite of cake.

The Count shot Blaze a glare "bleheh.. I believe you've dropped next to Wiwi on my hatred list.." he said, almost completley ignoring the... whatever it was meant to be...
He smirked at Rose "I believe you'd be a lot better off if you didn't know.." he replied, now completley ignoring the... thing...
Myth winced as the ultra-shroom disappeared, finding her surroundings coated with black and purple.
She looked up at the face with disbelief, then chuckled at Rose's summary.
"aww, well that's an awfully pathetic existence~"

The Black Chest Demon seemed to be about to curse his victims, when Rose's explanation caught him off guard,"Really, Lady? I mean, really? You know what you did? You just blew the entire ominous atmosphere! I mean come on, you know how long it take to-"
"Um, the curse?" Blaze said, quietly, impatient to get a new ability.
"Ugh, fine, let's just get this farce over with... Be cursed..." The thing said halfheartedly. His words were followed with appropriate lightning and thunder."Right. Press R then rotate the control stick..."
Blaze tilted her head, confused about this... 'R'.
"Y'know what, never mind, I let you guys find out for yourselves... I'm leaving this backwater town..." And with that, the demon was gone.

"Ok, you don't have to tell me Count..." Rose said and then put her full attention on the demon.
She smiled at the fact that the demon was upset with Rose's summary- she liked it when she ruined other peoples plans or 'ominous atmosphere'.
But before Rose could ruin anything else for the demon- he was gone. Rose was also a little confused at the said, 'R'... But she shrugged it off.
"Well that was... something..." She said and took another bite of cake.
