It's my belief that he's pretentious as s**t. But I like his movies, overall. We had to go out of our way to a decisively gay area of town to find it. stare But I enjoyed it - it's worth it.

I believe Milk is playing in the theater here that usually plays foreign or independent films... or just films that don't get a lot of hoopla. It still irks me that it's also the only place playing The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

I didn't hear about that one. Have you seen it? I want to see Coraline so badly that thinking about waiting makes me want to stamp my feet.

Eh, a number of my good friends are gay, my BEST friend is bi-leaning-lesbian, and I'm bi-leaning-straight, so *shrug* But my entire small town is pretty intensely homo-phobic, so no luck getting to see it without a drive.

Something like ten percent of the population is gay in a city very near mine. It's still difficult to find a decent hangout for gays, being bi-leaning-straight myself... My dad lives in Texas, Viral. Whereabouts are you in Oklahoma? Sometimes his family vacations in Lake Murray, but this year was a no-go.
