Jenannen Did they get the cancer as far as they can tell? I've lost two loved ones to cancer, and one of Hubby's... ya, they did an opertation a month or so ago and they got it all out, but they are doing radiation and chemo just to be safe.. its only for 6 weeks, but its going to be 6 very long weeks for him =( he has radiation everyday, Monday-Friday, and chemo once every two weeks. he has chemo this thursday..

ya ^^;; they're baffled at how/why he got it though.. cuz none of his family members have had cancer... and usually tonsil cancer is caused by drinking and smoking alot.. which he doesnt do at all.. no beer, no wine, nothin.

I'm scared that I might have to get chemo. But right now I'm playing the waiting game to see how my biposy comes back in two weeks. Which is why I'm in pain. They cut the mole that grew back earlier today.
To my knowlage I have only lost my dog to cancer so far.
Tell him good luck for me Kari. And I"m sorry for your losses Jen.

Care_e *hugs Vin* i hope everything is OK with you <33 *hugs back*I do too.
And if its okay now, since I've already had problems, I wont be able to go in the sun much. It makes me kind of jelous when I go in to my math class and all the theater majors are talking about how they went to the taning salon over the weekend. And how I wont be able to do that, or get a tan naturaly, without putting my self at risk.... (I have overly sun senstive skin. I get sunburns while riding in cars.)

Kari: Yeah, I know what you mean. One of those I lost to cancer was my uncle. Never married, no children of his own and he was like a second father to me. The kind of cancer he had (I can't remember now) was soemthing that they couldn't figure out how he got he didn't fit with the typical patient profile.
Vincent Valentine-Jenova: Thanks. You lose people and it's hard, but fortunatly none of those losses are recent.
I'm sorry to hear about your mole. I've had moles removed. Two were pre-cancerous, and another was non-cancerous. I've had no problems with them though. I wish you the best!

So far one was pre-cancerous, and the one that was just removed again the first time around they said it was non-cancerous. But like I said, now we just get to wait.
*looks to see if I can find a picture of me after (I think) an hour and a half of being outside last year*

Yeah, the pain fades as time passes.
It's been a long time since I've checked my moles, or been to a dermatoligist for that matter.
