"Oh, but I was scum a minute ago. Ok." Skylar laughed. Ike reluctantly withdrew his poke ball and put it away, recalling Lugia as well.
"You saved us?" Ike asked.
"Weelllll.... I loaned a hand." Skylar 'admitted' slyly.
Ike sighed, his head still throbbing. He just wanted to go inside the HQ and assess the damage. But something crossed his mind.
"Wait. How'd you know where this island was?" Ike asked Skylar. Skylar rubbed the back of his neck. He pulled out a TADS from his pocket.
"This thing." he said.
"Where the hell did you get one of those!?" Ike yelled, almost blowing a gasket.
"Your girl friend, Jasmine." he answered.

Ike had given Jasmine a TADS a long time ago in case she ever needed help. He was about to take Sammy's offer and clobber Skylar right here and now.
"Give me that." Ike said, snatching it from Skylar. "Your not a member."
"Neither was she." countered Skylar, happy to point out Ike's flaws. he could feel he was acting to cocky again and backed off a little.

"Look, what are you trying to prove?" Ike asked Skylar.
"Nothing. It's, well... Jasmine was talking an awful lot about you and this team." said Skylar. Ike found that hard to believe. "No, no! It's true. Look, you don't know what went down between us. She was kidnapped."
"What? Who?" Ike asked, almost flying off the deep end.
"No no, I rescued her. It was from a couple of goons in Goldenrod City. The Brilliance Gang or something." he said, adding a "not to brilliant to me." to the end of that. "Look, thing was, I helped her, and she helped me by tunneling into someone's base. Someone who owed me something. I got it right here as proof!" he said, pulling out a ripped page from a book. Ike took it and looked at it. He looked up at Sammy and showed it to her.
"This is a map of Full Moon Island." Ike said out loud. Another something in Skylar's pocket that only should concern Team Aqua. The hand witting on the map looked familiar.

"Gee, hope she's not off to fight the volcano by herself." Skylar joked. Ike was too busy studying the map. He sighed, and thought over Sammy's words.
"Look... if you need a place to stay... you can stay at the HQ. Just don't touch anything." said Ike. He gave Skylar the map back and entered the HQ. He would post rewards later after he found out what the damage was to the HQ.

"Uh.. yeah. Ok." Said Skylar, entering the HQ. He wouldn't kid himself. He wanted to gain Aqua's trust to get access into their HQ, but be wasn't expecting their kindness. He shook his head to try to get rid of those thoughts. No Sky, no. Eye on the prize.

Skylar was sitting outside the HQ on the beach, not doing much. He was looking at the map he took from Marty's base, trying to understand it. Yeah it showed an island with a detailed description on how to reach the center of the island, but it didn't really say WHAT was there. Either way if he could find out what was there, it would make this map a whole heck of a lot more worthy.

Down below Ike was on a computer, assessing what parts of the HQ needed fixing. Half of the volcano had blown away, but the HQ wasn't under water. All this time when he thought about that trip to the future, he thought they were both connected. Obviously this wasn't the case. Still, Team Magma had to be hunted down.
Ike leaned on the desk and held his head. It still hurt like crazy.

Ike stood up from his desk and shut off the computer. Ike kinda missed Celebi. It was fun having that little green fuzz ball around. He sighed and walked out to the common room, finding Sammy and her Riolu on the couch. He nodded to them, hurt his head once more, and walked straight through the room to find where the head bandages were, and maybe some tylenol.

"No, i'm fine." Ike said, taking off his bandanna and wrapping a white bandage around the top of his head. He looked down at his bandanna and saw the stain on the back of it. His eyes widened. "Wow, I really took a hit." he chuckled lightly. "At least the HQ's still here."

From outside Skylar put the map away and walked inside. His first impression was surprise. This place isn't too shabby... he thought. And he said they don't steal things. I don't see the government handing them big checks. How else do they pay for digs like these?
He moved about in the common room, taking a seat on the couch. He often wondered about what it would be like to join a team, but always came to the conclusion that solo always meant a bigger slice of the pie, if not the whole thing.

"Just need some sleep." Ike assured her. He put his bandanna back over his bandages.
"You can wear that blue rag but it still won't hide that haircut." Skylar joked from the other room. Ike just went with it.

"Trees aren't my type." Skylar said slickly, watching TV. The news was showing footage of Aquos island and the aftermath of the eruption, but it was on mute. Ike turned to Skylar
"Look, we have guest quarters at the end of the hall there. Don't even think about going some place you know we don't want you to go. All the labs, storage rooms, d-"
Skylar interrupted him with a peculiar look.
"Nothing's gonna be missing when you wake up tomorrow." he reassured Ike like an adolescent would to a parent. Ike shook his head and walked off to bed.
Skylar looked at Sammy.
"Is like this to ever house guest you guys have?" he asked her.
