Aduven Kroww League of Legends is odd. looks pretty cool though for such a simple game idea as Dota. I might try it out next week.

What is LoL exactly?
I hear everybody talking about it but I never really bothered to play it or look it up.
From what I gather it sounds like a more advanced, complicated and indept version of Lost Saga in a classic MMORPG setting. But I'm probably just confusing it with something else.

The Female of the Species

Multiplayer game focused around controlling a single hero character, on a team of others controlled by other people.
Two teams with computer controlled weaklings going head to head, trying to push into the opponent's base and win.
Strategy comes from each hero having a few abilities, plus items all heros can purchase.

Two teams with computer controlled weaklings going head to head, trying to push into the opponent's base and win. Strategy comes from each hero having a few abilities, plus items all heros can purchase. She pretty much nailed it. Now that the competitive season is coming out now though, almost all-teams are premade, and without a premade team of 5, as Haelstrom and I discovered, you get tons of ******** morons who have no grasp on the game at all, even at the highest level. So: If any group of you guys wants to get into it and play competitively, I'll help teach, and I'm sure Haelstrom would too. We still need a dedicated team for the season.

Well that certainly sounds like a game I'd leave to other people.
I'd much rather do it in FPS style with future!guns and a jetpack.

Just you have to keep in mind it's as much about not running head first into an enemy as doing so.

I'm still surprised to hear DotA was made into a stand-alone game. It was all rather...iunno, small? Plain?
I'm definitely with Rhos on this one.
