Two Peons came up to Kai and sent out Magby and Poochyena. Kai sent out Carvanha and Larvitar. Larvitar used Rock Slide, hitting both foes. Carvanha used Aqua Jet on Magby, and the fire type used Dynamic Punch but missed. Larvitar use Rockthrow and Crunch on Poochyena, and the foe used Bite, and then another Bite. Magby used Cross Chop on Carvanha, but got affected by rough skin. The super effective move sent the water dark fish flying. But it came back with Aqua jet. Larvitar finished up the battle with Rock Slide. But one Peon had another Pokemon, Zubat. Larviatar used Rock Throw and Carvahna used Water Gun, making Zubat weaken a little. The Poison type used Air Cutter on both Kai's Pokemon, doing little damage. Then Carvahna finished up the last Pokemon with Ice Fang, leaving Kai to find a new victim.

"Gladly." Maddy told Ike as she approached Maxie. "You're going down!"
Maddy sent out Rai, who faced his opponent, Crobat, sparks flying from his cheeks. He summoned a great bolt of thunder that came down from the sky and struck Crobot, causing major damage. Crobat countered with Wing Attack, slamming Rai with its wings. Rai unleashed a deadly Thunderbolt, finishing off Crobat.
Next up was Camerupt. The camel-like Pokemon obliterated Rai with a powerful Earthquake. Maddy sent out Emp, the great emperor penguin immediately summoning a wave of water to crash down over Camerupt. Camerupt took massive damage, and attempted to take down Emp with Fissure. The move missed, fortunately, and Emp finished off Camerupt with Bubblebeam.
Emp's next opponent was Blaziken. The bird-like Pokemon used a critical Sky Uppercut. Emp hung on to consciousness, and blasted Blaziken away with a powerful torrent of water. Blaziken screeched with pain and then let loose an earthquake, finishing Emp. Maddy sent out Blaze next, who unleashed an earthquake of his own, putting an end to Maxie's 3rd Pokemon.
A terrifying Rhyperior was sent out next. Blaze rushed forward and delivered a powerful Sky Uppercut. Rhyperior roared with anger and jabbed at Blaze with its horn. Blaze unleashed another earthquake, but still Rhyperior stood, strong and menacing. Then it attacked with Hammer Arm, dealing massive damage. But Blaze fought on, taking down the much bigger Pokemon with Brick Break.
Maxie's last Pokemon was Rapidash. The horse leapt up into the air, vanishing from sight. Blaze looked around aimlessly, unsure what to do. Then suddenly, Rapidash came down on him. Blaze fainted, and Maddy thanked him as she returned him and sent out Draco. The ferocious dragon roared, its scales glinting beautifully. He unleashed a deadly powerful Draco Meteor. Rapidash clung to consciousness just barely and attacked with Stomp. Draco was infurtiated now, and finished off Rapidash with Dragon Claw. He roared triumptly as he was returned.
Maddy glared at Maxie. "You lose."

Ike ran up to the Entei, stopping 20 feet before it and shielding his face from the radiating heat. Lugia was flying above him, staring down the Entei.
Entei growled, shaking the rocks around Ike's feet.
"Maxie has an Entei. Great." Ike told himself. "Safeguard, Lugia!" Ike yelled up to the guardian. Lugia surrounded himself with stars that fell and disappeared before hitting the ground, protecting himself from status problems.
Entei roared, using lava plume. A glob of magma rose from the lava pool, striking Lugia with intense heat. Lugia waves his wings, sending the Magma down to the ground. Ike could feel the heat of the lava as it feel around him. Lugia made sure none of it hit Ike, though.
"Lugia, use Ancient Power!" Ike yelled up to him. Lugia cried out, lifting heavy boulders from the ground. The rocks then surrounded the Entei, crashing in on it, causing substantial damage, though it was still in good condition to fight.
Entei began to sprint, hoping from one volcanic ridge to the next, gathering enough speed to leap high up into the air. It did, leaping right at Lugia with a powerful Fire Fang. Entei got close enough and bit Lugia's wing with it's glowing-red fangs. Lugia fell to the ground, landing on his feet.
"Hydro Pump, Lugia!" Ike called out.
Lugia aimed for Entei and shot a powerful torrent of pressurized water at the Entei, sending it over the edge of the volcanic crater. Entei dug its claws into the earth, stopping it from falling into the lava. With a giant use of strength and agility, Entei jumped up into the air and landed right before Ike, hurling the 5'11" 19 year old backwards and into a rock wall. Lugia leaped back into the air, getting in between Ike and Entei.
Ike had suffered a blow to the head and was unconscious.
Lugia and Entei stared down each other for what seemed hours, neather giving into the other.
Entei finally made a move and roared up to the clouds. The black clouds above Lugia began to swirl and glow bright red. They starting to come down on Lugia, forming something like a fire tornado. Entei was using a powerful Fire Spin, trapping Lugia inside.
Ike laid motionless on the ground.
Lugia was getting damage from the swirling clouds of fire around him. Every attempt to blow them away with his wings or to fly out hurt him even more.
Entei sprinted around the fire tornado, keeping it going strong. Lugia flinched from the intense heat, the volcano's power intensifying Entei's. Lugia finally took a deep breath and fired another Hydro Pump from the fire tornado, striking Entei again. Entei never saw it coming and was sent hurling into a large boulder, crashing into it and shattering it into pieces. It staggered slowing to get back up.
Ike laid motionless on the ground.
Lugia finally blew away the fire tornado, his safe guard warn off by now.
Entei limped, trying to hold its weight. Lugia sought to catch his breath, nearly suffocating in the inferno.
The two continued to stare each other down. Ike still lay motionless behind them near the rock wall.

Adelle turned, disappearing into the group of peons with the rest of her friends. Two peons stepped forwards, releasing a Zubat and a Houndour into battle. Pulling two pokeballs from her belt, Adie released Wartortle and Dratini into battle, the opponents getting to attack first. Zubat swarmed forwards, latching its fangs into Dratini in a Leech Life attack, while Houndour rushed forwards and clamped his teeth down on Wartortle in a bite attack. Wartortle responded by shooting a Hydro Pump attack at Houndour, knocking the pokemon out, while Dratini responded to the attack by Zubat with a slam attack, knocking Zubat back through the air. The bat pokemon released a Supersonic attack that confused both her pokemon, causing Dratini's Dragon Rage attack to miss completely. However, Wartortle's Rapid Spin attack hit home, knocking the flying pokemon out completely.

Turning, a second pair of Magma peons confronted her, each releasing a Growlithe into battle. This was going to be a piece of cake. Leaving Wartortle in the battle, though she recognized that he was starting to get tired from all the battling he has been doing, she recalled Dratini from battle, releasing Nidorino into battle. The purple pokemon pawed the ground as the two Growlithe's rushed forwards, each aiming to land a powerful Take Down on her two pokemon. Both connected, Wartortle looking even more tired than before, though he manged to keep standing while the two fire pokemon took recoil damage from the hit. Now, it was her turn. Wartortle landed a a perfect Water Gun on one of the Growlithe, causing the pokemon to faint as simple as that. Nidorino, always itching for battle, rushed forwards with a loud cry, jabbing it's poisoned horn into the remaining Growlithe in a Poison Jab that did a significant amount of damage. The enemy continued to hang on, however, and released a Flamethrower at Nidorino that did a substantial amount of damage to her aggressive pokemon. However, as soon as it was her turn to attack once more, it was all over. Wartortle released a bubble attack at the opponent pokemon leaving the puppy pokemon barely hanging on. All it took was a tackle attack from Nidorino to finish the peons off, causing them to run off.

Turning, she saw Ike on the ground, Sammy near him while Lugia and Entei went at each other hard. Running over to Sammy and Ike, she returned Wartortle for a well deserved rest, Nidorino clearing the way for her as they headed to the pair. Nidorino was ready to defend his mistress and her friends from anything, striking out at anything or anyone that got too close. His protection allowed her to turn to more important matters.

"Is he alright," she asked, taking her shirt off to reveal the top of her bathing suit, balling it up and slipping it under Ike's head.

"Hey!!! I'm not done yet!" Maddy now had a superbomb in her hand. Surprisingly, it wasn;t exploding, even though both her hands were engulfed with purple flame. She glared at Maxie, she wasn't afraid to 'sacrifice' herself again to put an end to another enemy.

"SAMMY," Adie screamed out as the girl rushed forwards, trying to physically take out Maxie with a well aimed punch to the face. Motioning to Nidorino, the poison pokemon rushed forwards, knocking a few peons out of the way as he went to protect his mistress' friend. Nothing was going to hurt her, he would guarantee. Adie gently ran her hand over Ike's face to wipe away some sweat.

"Ike, we need you to wake up," she said gently, looking at the battle going on before her with an anxious look in her features. Nidorino made it to Sammy and Maxie, letting out a rather aggressive call as he pushed himself between the Magma Leader and Sammy. Maddy was holding a flaming bomb in her hand, which made Adie nervous as well.

"Ike, please." she said, biting her lower lip gently. This was not good - not good at all.

Kai came back, lost in the mob on Peons. He foudn his friends. "What did I miss?" He asked.

Skylar followed Sammy over to Ike, standing by Adie.
"Whoa," he chuckled, "He doesn't look good."
Ike was still motionless, a dark spot was soaking into Adie's shirt where Ike had hit his head.

Suddenly the Volcano began to tremor. The magnitude of the earthquake was indescribable. Lugia rose into the air, focusing on the lava pool.
"Stand your ground, Team Aqua." Lugia told them. Skylar kept his balance, looking over at the lava pool as it began to bubble.
