The first peon Adie came across practically tackled her out of the trees, causing Adie to let out a yelp of surprise. He released a Torkoal into battle, Adelle pulling Wartortle's pokeball from her belt. Releasing the water pokemon into battle, the opposing pokemon released a Flamethrower at her Turtle pokemon with an incredible force. Adie called for a withdraw attack, the pokemon pulling back into his shell, the damage from the opposing pokemon minimal compared to what it could have been. As soon as Adie called for a Hydro Pump, jets of water flew from Wartortle's shell, the water damage too much for the fire pokemon, causing it to faint. The peon looked at her angrily, releasing his second pokemon into battle - Numel. Despite how cute it was, Adie had to keep in mind that this was one powerful little pokemon. Just like...

"Sandshrew," she muttered, recalling Wartortle and releasing her little mouse pokemon into battle. He looked at his opponent, then back to Adelle, who gave him a reassuring look as he struck a battle-ready pose that Adie taught them in training. He was just too cute sometimes. Burying underground in preparation for a dig attack, Numel stamped it's foot on the ground, releasing an Earthquake attack into the ground that caused Sandshrew a significant amount of damage. However, as he flew up from the ground, dealing vast amounts of damage to the fire pokemon, Numel slid back from the force of the attack, instantly rushing forwards in a take down that knocked Sandshrew across the forest arena. Sandshrew was barely standing, while the recoil damage was enough to knock the opposing pokemon out for the count. Watching as the peon ran back into the woods, Adelle moved on, searching for another battle.

It was not too much longer until she found one. Releasing Wartortle once more, the opponent released a Vulpix, who shot forwards in a tackle attack. Wartortle was hit but the attack, but it paled in comparison to the damage her pokemon did with a well placed Water Gun. Unfortunately, it was not enough to KO the pokemon, however, and so Wartortle received quite a bit of damage from a Quick Attack that managed to knock him off his feet. Jumping up, a powerful bubble attack sent the pokemon flying, fainting the pokemon. Instantly, the peon released a Quilava, Wartortle ready for another battle. The fire on the back of the fire pokemon flared as it rushed forwards in a Flame Wheel attack, the damage virtually insignificant with the type advantage she had over the other pokemon. Wartortle leapt into the air, releasing a powerful Hydro Pump at the fire pokemon that was enough to cause the opponent to faint. It seemed that this peon, too, was out of pokemon, and so Adelle was able to continue to move up the volcano.

She could almost see the top when she was confronted with a third peon, a female this time, who challenged her to a battle. The woman released a Combusken into battle, Adie recalling Wartortle and released Golem into the battle, who let out a battle cry. The opponent pokemon released an Ember attack that did little damage to her rock type, Golem picking up a large bolder from the ground and throwing it at the fire pokemon to deal a significant amount of rock damage with this Rock Throw. Combusken flew forwards, delivering a powerful Sky Uppercut that didn't do too much damage, only for a moment knocking the rock pokemon back. Golem threw his hand in the air, slamming his foot into the ground and releasing an earthquake attack that knocked the Combusken out for the count. The women looked really angry, though she released Magcargo, which just looked strange. His body hardened as the pokemon used a harden attack, a feeble attempt at preventing damage. Unfortunately, even a Harden attack was not enough to protect the opposing pokemon from an Earthquake attack that shook the entire area, knocking her pokemon out with one hit.

Adie was about to move on when the woman pulled out a third and last pokemon, Flareon. Recalling Golem, she released Wartortle once more, ready to just get this battle over with so she could get back to her friends. Flareon started with a sand attack, spraying sand straight at Wartortle, lowering his accuracy. He attempted a bubble attack, though it missed with the opponent pokemon. Flareon opened it's mouth, releasing a fire blast attack at Wartortle that did some damage, though the retaliating Hydro Pump that hit the Flareon did even more. As alast ditch effort, the fire pokemon rushed forwards, clamping its teeth down in a powerful bite attack, though a tackle attack from Wartortle was all it took to knock the other pokemon out.

Rushing past the woman, she could hear the sound of her team mates a little further ahead, approaching someone. As soon as she caught up wit them, they were surrounded by peons, feeding them some line about a legendary pokemon that was causing all this. She raised an eyebrow is a rather skeptical expression as she crossed her arms across her chest.

"Ike..." Kai said, looking at the other Peons. "We're screwed." He finished, grabbing Carvanha's Pokeball.

A purple fire ball flew from Maddy's fist and shot at Maxie, purposely missing by mere inches. "How did I cause this?!"

"Anything short of an Mewtwo is not going to really help us." Kai said, noticing that there was about 120 peons now.

Maddy took a step towards Maxie. "How about I blow you up as well?!" She threatened him.

Maxie took a step back from Sammy and Maddy, grabbing a poke ball. A scary-looking poke ball. He casted it in front of Sammy, and out of the ball came a big red flash. The light dimmed, revealing an Entei. The heat radiating from Entei burned anyone who got too close.
"I think this called for just that." Ike said to Kai, grabbing the poke ball from his chest, calling out Lugia. Maxie's sense of feeling more powerful disappeared.
"Everyone double battle with as many peons as you can!" Ike called out to everyone in the team. He looked over to Maddy. "I can handle the Entie. Battle Maxie to keep him occupied!" he said.

"Sweet." Kai said seeing Lugia. He ran up to two peons, ready to fight.
