"You're welcome! I'm glad that you like it." Lily told the woman, blushing in pleasure. Then she hesitated a brief moment before asking the question she had on her mind. "Kean...do you know anyone in town who can resize rings?"

She smiled softly and set down her utensils. "Lily-hon, I can manipulate metal, and for much cheaper than those cracks in town who destroy the metal to resize it. I can strengthen it as it's resized." Her gold eyes twinkled as she looked at Lily.

"Really?" Lily asked, eyes lighting up. She fumbled with the chain around her neck, undoing it and slipping of the golden diamod ring before she fastened it again. She gave the woman a shy look as she held it out, blushing. "Arlen asked me to marry him, and I said yes, but the ring's a little big. Could you...?"

She took the ring and turned it over in her hand. "It's gold....I'm gonna guess 24k..." Her eyes fluttered closed and she nodded. "That's not hard to work with. I can only properly size it if you slip it on your finger." SHe handed the ring back to Lily.

"Kay." Lily slipped it on to the ring finger of her left hand, a goofy grin stretching over her features as soon as she did. "Thank you Miss Kaen."

Kaen smirked in response and took Lily's hand in hers. She bent her head and put her index and middle fingers on either side of the ring. Her eyes gained a red tint as red aura pulsed from her fingers, surrounding the ring. "It may get a little hot," she muttered as she visualized the elemental structure of the ring and started condensing it. After about a minute, the ring was the right fit and she blinked, the red aura disappearing from her fingers and eyes. "How's that?" she said panting lightly.

Lily immedietly launched herself at Kaen, hugging the woman tightly. "Thank you so much Miss Kaen!" she cried happily, then kissed her cheek. "If there is anything I can do for you ever...you look tired. Do you want more water? Or anything?"

Kaen yelped, not expecting the attack hug, but managed to hold onto Lily. "I'm alright. I'm still a little weak from my transformation is all. Shifting takes a lot of energy. I'm just glad you're happy."

Realizing that she may have over-reacted a tad, Lily went back to her own seat, blushing. "Sorry...but I am happy, thank you! It...it didn't feel right, not being able to wear it on my finger."

Lily gave Kaen a slightly sad smile, then looked at Jake. "Hey hon. Do you want anything to eat?" she asked, indicating the food on the table.

Kaen glanced towards the window. "Sunset was about 4 hours ago," she told Jake, smiling softly at him. She glanced towards Shade and nodded at him.
